i enjoyed your video! i finished my first big crochet project yesterday… a long sleeved top and it turned out beautiful (far better than i thought), the torso is fitted and the sleeves aren’t which wasn’t the plan but it looks great! i started working on granny squares and the tension thing is a battle but i can’t wait to finish this one too and move on to more. thanks for the tips and encouragement! i loved your calm voice.
Aww thank you so much! Congrats on your top! That sounds gorgeous. What a happy accident. Oh I get that. Tension is tough sometimes but you got this! Thanks for watching 😊
The mysterious tension of my past self was such a shock and a dismay. Especially since I thought I finally had my tension somewhat regulated. Somehow I found your video at the exact moment I needed it. Thanks.
Yarn thickness; took me a long time to understand what a 4 ply n a 4 wt were. Not the same, 🤯. Four ply can be thick or thin of each strand. Four wieght is consistant, well; within reason anyways. N then there is a difference with size 3 thread yarn n a size 10 thread aka Aunt Lydia's vrs size two wieght yarn. Its best to get a keychain gauge for wraps per inch. It helps alot.

AWESOME 🤩
Thank you for sharing.
That feeling of accomplishment at the end of a project is so true❤
And of course, that strong urge to let Everyone know that you made this!!! I've been crocheting for a while now, and I still feel this way lol.
@@angelabury1349 I know righttttt😂 You could ask me the time and I would say “I actually made my outfit myself”😂
Luckily after over 30 yrs of crocheting, I've never gotten one callus and according to certain crocheters I hold my hook the wrong way 😊...
There is no such thing as "the wrong way" to hold a crochet hook! People are ridiculous lol
@@jobe2301 I was young and impressionable , lol...
That’s impressive! Haha and I agree, if it works for you, it can’t be “wrong”

They don’t tell you the amount of times you ‘frog’ your crochet project when you are beginning
Thank you for the information - very informative! I also want to know what brand/color your lipstick is because it is GORGEOUS on you!😍
Thank you so much! So glad you enjoyed. You’re so sweet! I’m not 100% sure, but I think I was wearing a light layer of Maybelline’s Divine Wine.
Thank youu
Omg, i made that same corset belt!!
Oh that’s so fun! Love it!

Yes there’s so much to learn! It’s crazy how many different kinds of yarn are out there.
