I don’t think that it is possible to liberate others ... I think that they have to liberate themselves. I was liberated ... present...but they were still unconscious. I don’t think you can change / liberate a narcissist from their unconscious state and subconscious tapes they are running all the time... perhaps I am a lousy teacher...or they are just not interested
Yes especially now when much of the world is teetering on collapse, ecologically, economically, and socially...it's a good reminder to be as conscious and present as possible, and to have appreciation and gratitude for all life

He personifies all that he talks about...he 'walks the talk, though those words only point at the real truth he IS...No pedastal for him here, that would be egoic, he simply 'walks' and IS love , ...indeed that is what he says we all are and he is right...without the conceptualised thinking about that, that 'we ARE love'.
The greatest gift I ever discovered was awakening to the gap between two thoughts (or present moment awareness). The ego arises out of the state of identification with thought. The moment of freedom arises when we realize that we are not our thoughts-rather, we are the awareness watching the thought. Teresa Hutchins I know what you mean but I think if you try to concentrate on the little things that make life good for example water to drink, roof over your head, food to eat, books to read, watching youtube etc. Eventually you find happiness in gratitude hence greater happiness in the now ❤️😊🙂🙃❤️ Hope you find peace and happiness soon.

I completely agree! I must admit that I often pause the video to read the comments (as I've just done!!) and it often takes me an hour to listen to a 20 minute video......but it's SOOO beautiful, comforting and reassuring. X

After a Winter of, much storms, rain, floods, winds and now the Covid 19 virus. I am now sitting out in my garden in the most beautiful weather, relaxing listening to Eckhart, the birds, bees, and taking in the views where every tree is now green. Lockdown, no traffic, no planes and no money worries because I have “no money”.

I never forget the day I stumbled upon "The power of now" here on YT. It contained the first couple of chapters in my language. I could not stop listening to that over and over. It was my first encounter with spiritual teaching other than the Bible. I have found many other teachers that helped me on my way. But Eckhart is the one I keep coming back to when I need to make an important decision and I am lost. He is God given. 😊💗
His laugh is the purest little sound. Love his entire pixie-ish-ness. It's adorable. And his hard-hitting profound wisdom wrapped in that exterior is just so endearing. I am a big fan, Mr. Tolle. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and enlightenment with us.

I often tried to escape matters of a serious nature, because I was far too serious myself. But!....I so enjoy laughing along with Eckhart's messages. He has a sneaky sense of humor! How very important this work is.
I feel so utterly blessed to receive any and all of your teachings. Every cell of my body seems to light up with recognition to what you say. You are a true prophet and I'm so comforted by you. I wish I had such a wise influence when I was younger. I grew up in a highly abusive traumatizing home with two very unconscious parents. I know it wasn't they're fault, but the programming has been challenging to transcend. My life played out with much suffering. We need to be open to Life, open our eyes to It. But we close our eyes with fear of everything: dreadful situations, serious diseases, bad people, dangerous dogs, whatever… But the real Life is different. It is far from what we expect it to be. It's simple, not complicated. It's Joy of Being, not horror of survival. People look for this Joy, their Soul lacks it. They try to substitute it with pleasure and entertainment. Mistakenly, they search outside and don't look inside. To look inside isn’t some spiritual experience that only “chosen” are able to undergo. All people are the same in their Essence, they share the same Spirit - the Spirit of God or the Consciousness.
i have spent years looking outside of me for that euphoric happy feeling and peace. For that relief from stress and dis-ease. My ego was me and i thought it needed to survive. It has been years now growing and practicing being a watcher . Oh it is not easy and it has been a slow change with moments of what feels like unbelievable clarity, enthusiasm, love, and just pure peace. There are times of discouragement when fear jumps in to say you are not able, you are not worthy. So Grateful to all of you sharing a powerful message.
It is confidence because it is as if a light has been turned on in a dark room. Before you were a petty little self living in darkness, but when you realize there is no self, just a vastness, the realization of that transforms you.

I don’t cry when sad happen ever in my life but now I am crying so easily when I see anything good happening. I have been home alone for over a month now due to the Coronavirus and I am using this opportunity to work on my presence.

I definitely understand what he is talking about. I have gone through false confidence and what really helped me was to go out with my ego shed, not caring about how I look, no makeup, simple comfortable clothes, just observing and going through the outside environment and truly observing my own self among others as an observer. I felt a deep inner connectedness and it truly is a different, peaceful deep feeling..
-You dont need to think all the time -to access the unmanifested, you have to find within you the space of no thought, which is always there. -if you dont give up your reliance on conditioned knowledge, and thinking you cant never go beyond. -feel the power of your attention here and now, to feel the inherent power of consciousness. -you give your fullest attention to something and you not thinking. -you just there as a field of attention. -every person is an expresion of the one consciousness.
when I was about 8 years old I was informed by a member of MENSA that I would meet many people in my life that are very beneficial to the people around them and society in general but I would not meet a single person with true intelligence who will harm others, animals, nature in any way. Life is a dream in the sense that you and the majority of people on Earth live unconsciously; they are mostly acting out their subconscious at all times. Like a dream. When you ‘wake up’ you realize that your thoughts/thought patterns/conditioned beliefs/emotions/actions create your physical reality. Through meditation and mindfulness you learn to become ‘aware’ of your thoughts. The more aware you are of your thoughts, the better you’re able to overcome them, realize that they are illusory, thereby unreal, and realize that you can transmute your thoughts into their opposite pole. Being able to consciously do this consistently can complete change your physical reality. In summary, once you wake up from the dream, you realize that you are dreaming and begin consciously creating your reality. Just like a lucid dream.

I'm in uni as a mature student. This week we had a Q&A and I answered quickly to something which I usually sit back and not say anything. In this case it was about accessing our intiution on a visual to see what we got from it. I was spot on. That didn't actually require thinking but accessing my awareness. Eleanor Roosevelt seemed to be a politician with a deeper sense of self and inner wisdom. When I listen to her speak she often takes time to answer and allows her answers to come from a place beyond intellect. A very refreshing pace similar to Eckhart.

i have spent years looking outside of me for that euphoric happy feeling and peace. For that relief from stress and dis-ease. My ego was me and i thought it needed to survive. It has been years now growing and practicing being a watcher . Oh it is not easy and it has been a slow change with moments of what feels like unbelievable clarity, enthusiasm, love, and just pure peace. There are times of discouragement when fear jumps in to say you are not able, you are not worthy. So Grateful to all of you sharing a powerful message.

It is confidence because it is as if a light has been turned on in a dark room. Before you were a petty little self living in darkness, but when you realize there is no self, just a vastness, the realization of that transforms you.

I don’t cry when sad happen ever in my life but now I am crying so easily when I see anything good happening. I definitely understand what he is talking about. I have gone through false confidence and what really helped me was to go out with my ego shed, not caring about how I look, no makeup, simple comfortable clothes, just observing and going through the outside environment and truly observing my own self among others as an observer. I felt a deep inner connectedness and it truly is a different, peaceful deep feeling..

Life is a dream in the sense that you and the majority of people on Earth live unconsciously; they are mostly acting out their subconscious at all times. Like a dream.
When you ‘wake up’ you realize that your thoughts/thought patterns/conditioned beliefs/emotions/actions create your physical reality. Through meditation and mindfulness you learn to become ‘aware’ of your thoughts.
The more aware you are of your thoughts, the better you’re able to overcome them, realize that they are illusory, thereby unreal, and realize that you can transmute your thoughts into their opposite pole.
Being able to consciously do this consistently can complete change your physical reality. In summary, once you wake up from the dream, you realize that you are dreaming and begin consciously creating your reality. Just like a lucid dream.

I'm in uni as a mature student. This week we had a Q&A and I answered quickly to something which I usually sit back and not say anything.
In this case it was about accessing our intiution on a visual to see what we got from it. I was spot on. That didn't actually require thinking but accessing my awareness. Great story to compare my own story too 👏🏽🙋🏾♀️😎

Eleanor Roosevelt seemed to be a politician with a deeper sense of self and inner wisdom. When I listen to her speak she often takes time to answer and allows her answers to come from a place beyond intellect. A very refreshing pace similar to Eckhart.
