First I want to say thank you Jesus! I prayed and prayed every single day. I started going to church. At first it was all about my wife. Then I started really getting into it. God has always been apart of my life but I always put it on the back burner. God took everything that was in the way of me seeing him and I realized that he was teaching me. My way of thinking is different. I second guess myself all the time. God not only restored my marriage but my wife stop drinking and getting high. And she is going to church with me. Everything that I prayed for God made it happen. There were so many days that I cried out just let me die. I dont want to feel this anymore. And he heard me every single time. He saw every tear and gave me comfort in him. I was living in my truck for over a year. And still standing for my marriage. This is for those who are having a hard time with there marriage . God sees you. You are not by yourself. God will show you that he loves you everyday. You may not see it,but all you have to do is stop and let go,and trust God. Step out on faith,and trust God. Do not ,whatever you do, do not give up. God loves you more then you know. Everything isn't perfect. But with God involved in marriage, my life, nothing can stand in my way. The devil wants to take what god has given you. Your marriage is a gift from God. He does not believe in divorce. He will not let you down. Do not doubt Gods love or what he can do. Believe in what you pray for. Doesn't matter if your spouse wants a divorce. Doesn't matter what your situation is. God is the only thing you can rely on. I hope that me sharing a little about myself will not only help you. But also help you restore your relationship with God. It will change your life. God bless you all. Actually, it is wise to ask God if He desires to restore a marriage. Sometimes God removes a spouse because it is in the other spouse's best interest. Poor Shannan Watts felt that Chris Watts was a gift to her from God. The poor woman did NOT know the depth of evil in that man's heart. It is an awful shame what happened to her and I don't know why God allowed it to happen. But sometimes separation/divorce is something God allows to protect a spouse. Please study the Bible and seek God's direction carefully regarding divorce. There are many people who experience a restored marriage, which is beautiful. But there are a lot of false teachings in this 'standing for your marriage' ideology and it can create a lot of confusion and idolatry for people. There is no biblical basis for the belief that God wants to restore EVERY marriage.
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but today is the second day that I moved out temporarily to give my wife space to heal and recover. I've been having such a hard time. I went to jury duty yesterday and for four hours straight, I would randomly cry. Imagine being in jury duty and having some random Asian guy cry. So I've been through the ringer emotionally and I've been googling "God restored my marriage" and I saw your video post. Thank you for sharing your experience. It has given me hope. I waited 3 1/2 years for my husband. A judge issued a divorce without my signature and he remarried 2 months later. I know God did everything within His power to restore my marriage. But God cannot override our free will. I say all this to let everyone know that even though my marriage was not restored, I have no regrets waiting. I grew so close to God during that time, learning to put my trust in Him. Restoration doesn't always happen, but God healed me.

If she was in rebellion, REGARDLESS of what her husband was doing, she was in sin. We can only pray God has used their brokenness to bring her to a place of humility and surrender. Even through divorce, I pray this sister has repented and accepting God’s forgiveness and healing. But smacking her upside the head with “wives are to submit” verses is going to frustrate a wife even more when she is already breaking and likely focusing on her hurts and not her part.

Indeed their is nothing our God cannot do...starting of 2020 my marriage went through a storm i had contributed to the storm as well ...but i cry out to god day and night..i had moved out of our home...i had called it quits...we ended upnin court ..and the majestrate looks us straight in our eyes after we both had shared our sides and we argued..we both started to cry...he said this marriage can be fix even though their is alot of issues here thats say part ways i think this marriage can be mended and i will have you both take counseling through the courts starting the following day ..he ask that we make amends before we leave because we were both wrong to each other....we did....fast forward 1,1/2 yr later we are grateful...trusting god....more than ever...yes we do have our up and down but we trusting God every step of the way....I CRYED OUT TO GOD AND HE ANSWERED!!!..GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD 👌 👏 HALLELUJAH

We been separated for 8 months and I miss my husband dearly. I want to give up so bad but for some reason I can’t. M y husband hasn’t spoken to me or my daughter in 3 months but he is taking me to court for custody. So while he is absent I’ve been getting closer to god and focusing on me. @@RebeccaNLucas I didn’t have anything specific. It was more so thanking God in advance and just having a sense of knowing that what God was telling me about my wife was true. If you truly believe what he told you is true then you will be able to relax and not be anxious for things you want. The most important thing I gained out of this whole experience was God showing me how to not idolize my wife and shift my focus to him. And appreciation of him. And realizing all I really needed my whole life was him. Everything else is just extra. Once I came to that realization everything else just flowed to me. Without trying for it. Just pray an thank him for what you already have. And thank him for whatever he has for you. Peace to you. Praise Jesus !
The devil is a lair I received my divorce papers on Wednesday. My husband brought in the mail and when I open it was from the court BUT straight away the LORD spoke to me and said Be Still I burnt the paper and God said He is in control. Divorced is not the end of my life. I will keep praying for my husband 🙏🙏🙏🙏 he will come home to his children and his family in the mighty name of Jesus Amen

It's been a week since my husband left. I feel so alone and empty inside. This pain doesn't go away. I asked God to restore my marriage. I pray everyday our marriage doesn't end. I believe God is listening to my prayers and soon he will want to fix and fight for our family.
This is my second go around. My wife has walked away and it has been 5 months now. But yes, my relationship with God has grown drastically. I have sent my wife a prayer every day now and I think I’m up to like 200 prayers. I am trusting God and know that he will fix it like he I did 9 years ago. Your right. It’s not easy. Some days are a total disaster and some days are cake. God has a plan and I just keep praying. Thanks for sharing.
I have felt pretty lost, and living in fear, since my husband handed me divorce papers, just before Christmas. As a woman of faith in physical healing, and having several gifts including discernment, this fear is new territory for me. I began experiencing what I thought was so many confirmations to restoration, so many leadings by God that didn’t make sense, yet all pointed to God answering my prayers, after testing my obedience. I refuse to believe God would bring forth so so many miracles (as I outline some below) just to have our marriage fall apart. Honestly, I feel my husband’s death would have been easier to accept than this. I have spent more time on my knees begging God to talk to me, to show me, to have Holy Spirit guide me. Ultimately I know the enemy is wanting me to run out of faith, to give up, to question God (shamefully I have, but then repent), to fire as many flaming arrows as possible, until my faith is burned to ashes. Still, I fight the good fight against my flesh, everyday. At the first of 2018 (January), my husband was rushed to the hospital, after I found him throwing up over half of his bodies blood. Had the Holy Spirit quite literally not led me to stay up all night, I would have never heard him. Of course, I didn’t understand why I was being led to stay up for something I thought was a stomach bug, but I was obedient because I know the uncomfortable stirring that comes in my spirit when something isn’t right. When we got him to the ER, I was informed that had we been 10 minutes later getting him there, he would have never made it. I knew then why I had to force myself to stay up, as originally I was going to sleep in a room across the house. After a procedure to clip an ulcer, and cauterize the artery in his esophagus, they felt they had stop the bleeding. However, three days later in recovery, I again felt something off in my spirit. The nurses, as well as my husband, assured me he was on the mend. A few hours later, he asked to use the bathroom. They put him on the bedpan, and the nurse asked me to take a walk to give him privacy, while she checked on another patient. I actually started to, but I again felt something in my spirit tell me not to leave. I stood outside his door, and within a few minutes, I heard him moaning. When I rushed into his room, he had literally bled completely out. He was seizing, and falling off the bed. I rushed down the hall screaming for anyone. The next thing I remember, there were 20 something medical staff working to save him, and I was informed the chaplain was being called. I remember telling them, no, it’s not time. I dropped to my knees and began praying, as I heard code blue being called and hearing them say “we’ve lost him”. I immediately began speaking life over his body, commanding he was healed by the stripes of Jesus. As his time of death was being called, after all efforts had been exhausted, he came back... with not one drop of blood in his body. According to the surgeons, they would pump blood in, and his body would spill it right back out. This entire event had even surgeons speechless, as his “resurrection” could not be medically explained, thus they began calling him “Lazarus”. This entire experience not only brought him back a changed man, it restored our already hurting marriage. You see, I had left him for three months prior. In a series of other events/miracles, I was led home only a month before this took place. The night I found him throwing up blood, having stayed awake, I had actually planned to leave again. However, Holy Spirit once again led me home, sensing he was sick without him telling me. While still in the hospital, he dedicated his life to God and vowed he would never take our marriage for granted, again. The next several months were amazing. Everyone was in awe over what a different man he was. We literally had 1,000s following my posts (basically becoming blogs) and updates, people neither of us knew. A few churches reached out asking us to share our testimony. He was dragging me to church, worshipping, joining small group, serving, giving his entire life to God. We were better than we had ever been. I knew God had performed two miracles, at that time. Around mid June, he began doing a complete 180 back to the man he was before his “resurrection”, only worse. This began to happen shortly after he felt a call to ministry... only days after we were led to be baptized together (April). In fact, we received confirmation of his call to ministry. Two days after he felt led, I received a text. Having told not one person about his calling, the text was from a church member - “this is going to sound strange, but I was praying and Holy Spirit led me to reach out and ask if Jake had ever considered ministry”. We were both floored and excited. However, only a few short weeks later, practically over a weekends time of arguing, his “180” began him talking of divorce. Over the next few weeks from there, he began pulling away from church, to eventually not wearing his ring, spending the night out, etc. Now, one week before this past Christmas (three weeks ago), he wakes me with divorce papers. I was completely blindsided. I don’t understand what’s happened, how it’s happened and how God would allow such a miracle, only to be torn apart. Our testimony would have been so powerful (I’m leaving so much out). I’ve even felt called so strongly to stand among 1000s to give our testimony and touch other marriages, to minister to them. I’ve been led to promise God that I would do this and more, not truly knowing where this leading was coming from. Then, God led me to Job 22:21-30, one week after I began making my vow. Today, Psalm 116:14 and 18. The commonality in these verses is assuring me I will be held to my vows I’ve made before the Lord. These past few months, and especially weeks, I’ve spent so much time on my knees praying, begging, and crying. At times, the enemy has made me feel so foolish for believing for a marriage miracle after it felt God was giving so many confirmations he was going to restore us. In my state, this divorce can be done in 30 days. It doesn’t seem real, and virtually impossible to stop. It would take an absolute miracle, especially since his mother is funding it. She explained she loves me, but wants her son to be “happy”. It’s all happening so fast, I’ve been so angry and confused, but slowly God has begun bringing me peace and building my hope. Like you, I have asked God for specific signs, starting at Christmas. I’ve yet to see that one. However, I also asked for prophesy. This past Saturday, by the grace of God, I was connected with a world know prophetess/minister. As you can well imagine, she fields tons of messages. However, she said Holy Spirit led her to reach out to me, personally. After a THREE hour conversation, she told me that Holy Spirit was showing her that my marriage was going to be restored. Since that time, I’ve spent more time in prayer, and fasting. Last night, another well know pastor that I tune into daily, put out a video. She always chooses to lead with a verse she picks out as the frame work for her message. Last night was Jeremiah 31:11 “I will deliver Jacob”. My husband’s name is Jacob! However, like you and even through all of this, I still over analyze and need confirmation/reassurance. I have once again been asking God to have him text me just a simple “Hey” (which in itself would be a miracle that he text me at all. Ive still received nothing, and am going on a month that I’ve not seen him, while I stay with family. To make matters worse, our anniversary is in two days. All of this shared to request that, you and all who are willing, please lift him up with me. I’m believing for his restoration to God, first and foremost. That his calling be fulfilled, and that our marriage be restored... this divorce be stopped, and our powerful testimony be shared, in Jesus name. I can feel it in my very being that we have an amazing testimony to share. It began, last year, and this restoration will make it all the more powerful. Even then we had people (we had never met) stopping us at stores and on the street, introducing themselves and telling us how they followed my blogs on social media. Churches reached out asking us to give testimony, and some approached me asking if I had ever considered writing a book or blogging for churches. It was all overwhelming, to say the least, and clearly the enemy was extremely threatened. Through all of this, I know God’s hand is at work, but it is still within our nature to doubt... most likely even if a burning bush assured us our prayers would be met with victory. :) Thank you - Ashley.
Ashley Davidson Ashley, God will restore your marriage. Remember that we walk by faith and not by sight. Know that just because we don’t see anything happening or confirmations, it doesn’t mean that God is not working. You’ve went through what you did solely for God.. so you may bring Him glory. He will deliver you and He will carry you through this. He is using you. This is a time for you to be a prayer warrior and intercede for your husband. We know that your husband isn’t the enemy, but the rulers of the darkness of this world. You can save your husband. God has to build you both back before he can restore it. This test IS your testimony. You didn’t experience what you have for no reason. Nothing can come between what God has created. The enemy can try and take your promises away but we know that God is more powerful. We know that the devil is a liar. Continue to stand and be persistent and strategic with your prayer. Zaesha Hudson Thank you, Zae. It’s very difficult, at times, when all odds seemed stacked against us. Add to that the fact I believe there is someone else. Though I can’t prove it, logic would dictate that to be the case, given his patterns and how quickly he filed. That makes this reality seem even more impossible, though I know we serve the great I Am, where nothing is impossible. I do wish he would give me a sign, as he did you. Not receiving one makes me further question whether these other occurrences (such as the prophetess and scriptures I’ve been led to) are not accurate, and simply what I’m wanting to hear. I battle with those doubts vs not being able to possibly accept that we would go through so much, sparing Jakes life, being led to baptism, etc just have those beauties and our Holy union stolen by the enemy.
Zaesha Hudson Yikes! That’s sooooo confusing, though. Isn’t that why you were essentially asking for confirmations because you held doubt, at times ? As you shared, how does our faith get built without visual confirmations we request? By asking for specific signs, and seeing them materialize, I can only imagine what a faith builder that is.

I’m still not sure who can and can’t see my RUclips comments, and God has definitely led me to keep these issues away from too many people we actually know. I’m so happy to hear your story. I am a newlywed and a new mom. I saw your first video of your marriage being restored. The first one was where we were about 2 months ago. This video is where we are in our current state. We live separately, but we are still in the same state. I too am a military wife and am in San Antonio. My husband filed for a divorce and the enemy is deceiving him to believe that marriage is no longer from him. However, I am still STANDING for my marriage. I have been praying, supplicating, fasting, getting Godly counsel (by those that are actual counselors and others that knows God’s Word), going to church twice a week, on two different weekly prayer lines, read the Bible, a book, watching movies and videos of marriages being restored, Let Go and Let God have control over our marriage, etc. I have even done this thing called The Love Dare Challenge and it is a 40 day challenge where you get a daily scripture and a task. All in all, it is teaching you to love unconditionally like God loves us. I am thankful for you sharing this because I joined Rejoice Marriage Ministries, today and the MP3 given to me was a blessing. I asked for God to help me to be able to pray for my husband and in the app they give you a 12 days of prayer for your husband. I even began my prayer journal, today. God used you as a form of my confirmation because he’s been speaking to me saying that he hates divorce.

I made it 5 mins in and was in tears. I’m currently in the same spot as you. Weirdly my husbands name is Donnie as well. God has told me to be still and my marriage would be restored and it’s hard to trust that. Right now I’m totally leaning on God. Praying constantly. Listening to worship music and sermons when I feel weak doubtful or discouraged. I also prayed so many many times for confirmations and literally every time time he shows me. My husband has finally agreed to speak with the elders at our church and we’re speaking so much more. I truly believe with time and me letting go and letting God my marriage will too be restored. Hi there! This was inspiring. I initiated divorce with my husband a few weeks ago. Last week I was a a Lot Less in Manhattan. I was talking randomly with this better woman. Another woman entered the conversation. She gave me some words of wisdom, prayed over me, and told me to give my marriage over to God. She told me not to share my marriage "miseries with friends. I have been Married for 34 years this past April, Never Separated But I will say it takes a LOT of work to keep a marriage together. You have to Give n Take on each end. I have watched this testimony everyday for the past 4 days. Every other testimony that I have watched or read have been on how the couple divorced and then were restored. I really don't want to divorce but after hearing these testimonies, they encouraged fear over faith. I can feel the fear of divorce gripping my heart. This video restored my faith. My wife is fighting against me and I have loved her since I was 12. Im 50 years old now and she means more to me than she knows. Now starting a group of ladies that I can pray with and have Bible studies with to assist through rough times. The pain was hard and now on the other side better than ever.

I have been married for 9 years unfortunately my husband has suffered an addiction to opioids in December 2017, a family member of his introduced him. We have been separated since March 2018 he has always been a good man. We joined church, he respected me so much. He adopted my son , he was literally my best friend. I found out he was using, he denied it. His attitude completely changed. The enemy came in and surrounded him with different friends and relationships. I pray the Lord brings Jared home and allows him to get help and we restore our marriage. I pray the Lords removes those influences out his life and removes those drugs. Praise God for His mercy. I have been divorced for about 1 year but still praying and seeking reconciliation. My ex-wife is still in our church which is awkward and hard but the Lord is giving grace. Most people even in the church have said I should "move on" but that is neither biblical nor my desire. I would rejoice and cry with joy if my husband comes back to me like the way he loved me when we first met and married. I've been going through the same thing, and my story is absolutely similar to yours! It is a lot more accelerated, the restoration is going a lot faster, and I know it will be completely healed. This testimony was wonderful, with God everything is possible. Here's a tip: Rest. Rest in God, pray, have faith, believe it already happened, and REST. Detach from constantly thinking about your spouse, you'll see restoration will happen a lot faster. Mine is a true story, I hope this reaches someone who needs this and encourages them! 💛

Oh, God is so good! He's restoring my marriage, as my husband came home 5 months ago after about 6 months of separation. I noticed how he kept communicating during that time too. God kept giving me rainbows as a sign too! And get this: I remember watching your video before and today it popped up after I sent an image of a rainbow to my husband on the anniversary of when we met. I had to pause the video because he came in the room to check on me and we hugged. God is so good and He has brought me so far.
First I want to say thank you Jesus! I prayed and prayed every single day. I started going to church. At first it was all about my wife. Then I started really getting into it. God has always been apart of my life but I always put it on the back burner. God took everything that was in the way of me seeing him and I realized that he was teaching me. My way of thinking is different. I second guess myself all the time. God not only restored my marriage but my wife stop drinking and getting high. And she is going to church with me. Everything that I prayed for God made it happen. There were so many days that I cried out just let me die. I dont want to feel this anymore. And he heard me every single time. He saw every tear and gave me comfort in him. I was living in my truck for over a year. And still standing for my marriage. This is for those who are having a hard time with there marriage . God sees you. You are not by yourself. God will show you that he loves you everyday. You may not see it,but all you have to do is stop and let go,and trust God. Step out on faith,and trust God. Do not ,whatever you do, do not give up. God loves you more then you know. Everything isn't perfect. But with God involved in marriage, my life, nothing can stand in my way. Actually, it is wise to ask God if He desires to restore a marriage. Sometimes God removes a spouse because it is in the other spouse's best interest. Poor Shannan Watts felt that Chris Watts was a gift to her from God. The poor woman did NOT know the depth of evil in that man's heart. It is an awful shame what happened to her and I don't know why God allowed it to happen. But sometimes separation/divorce is something God allows to protect a spouse. Please study the Bible and seek God's direction carefully regarding divorce. There are many people who experience a restored marriage, which is beautiful. But there are a lot of false teachings in this 'standing for your marriage' ideology and it can create a lot of confusion and idolatry for people. There is no biblical basis for the belief that God wants to restore EVERY marriage.
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but today is the second day that I moved out temporarily to give my wife space to heal and recover. I've been having such a hard time. I went to jury duty yesterday and for four hours straight, I would randomly cry. Imagine being in jury duty and having some random Asian guy cry. So I've been through the ringer emotionally and I've been googling "God restored my marriage" and I saw your video post. Thank you for sharing your experience. It has given me hope. I waited 3 1/2 years for my husband. A judge issued a divorce without my signature and he remarried 2 months later. I know God did everything within His power to restore my marriage. But God cannot override our free will. I say all this to let everyone know that even though my marriage was not restored, I have no regrets waiting. I grew so close to God during that time, learning to put my trust in Him. Restoration doesn't always happen, but God healed me.

If she was in rebellion, REGARDLESS of what her husband was doing, she was in sin. We can only pray God has used their brokenness to bring her to a place of humility and surrender. Even through divorce, I pray this sister has repented and accepting God’s forgiveness and healing. Indeed their is nothing our God cannot do...starting of 2020 my marriage went through a storm i had contributed to the storm as well ...but i cry out to god day and night..i had moved out of our home...i had called it quits...we ended upnin court ..and the majestrate looks us straight in our eyes after we both had shared our sides and we argued..we both started to cry...he said this marriage can be fix even though their is alot of issues here thats say part ways i think this marriage can be mended and i will have you both take counseling through the courts starting the following day ..he ask that we make amends before we leave because we were both wrong to each other....we did....fast forward 1,1/2 yr later we are grateful...trusting god....more than ever...yes we do have our up and down but we trusting God every step of the way....I CRYED OUT TO GOD AND HE ANSWERED!!!..GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD 👌 👏 HALLELUJAH

@@RebeccaNLucas I didn’t have anything specific. It was more so thanking God in advance and just having a sense of knowing that what God was telling me about my wife was true. If you truly believe what he told you is true then you will be able to relax and not be anxious for things you want. The most important thing I gained out of this whole experience was God showing me how to not idolize my wife and shift my focus to him. And appreciation of him. And realizing all I really needed my whole life was him. Everything else is just extra. Once I came to that realization everything else just flowed to me. Without trying for it. Just pray an thank him for what you already have. And thank him for whatever he has for you. Peace to you. Praise Jesus !

I have felt pretty lost, and living in fear, since my husband handed me divorce papers, just before Christmas. As a woman of faith in physical healing, and having several gifts including discernment, this fear is new territory for me.
I began experiencing what I thought was so many confirmations to restoration, so many leadings by God that didn’t make sense, yet all pointed to God answering my prayers, after testing my obedience.
I refuse to believe God would bring forth so so many miracles (as I outline some below) just to have our marriage fall apart.
Honestly, I feel my husband’s death would have been easier to accept than this. I have spent more time on my knees begging God to talk to me, to show me, to have Holy Spirit guide me.
Ultimately I know the enemy is wanting me to run out of faith, to give up, to question God (shamefully I have, but then repent), to fire as many flaming arrows as possible, until my faith is burned to ashes. Still, I fight the good fight against my flesh, everyday.
At the first of 2018 (January), my husband was rushed to the hospital, after I found him throwing up over half of his bodies blood. Had the Holy Spirit quite literally not led me to stay up all night, I would have never heard him.
Of course, I didn’t understand why I was being led to stay up for something I thought was a stomach bug, but I was obedient because I know the uncomfortable stirring that comes in my spirit when something isn’t right.
When we got him to the ER, I was informed that had we been 10 minutes later getting him there, he would have never made it. I knew then why I had to force myself to stay up, as originally I was going to sleep in a room across the house.
After a procedure to clip an ulcer, and cauterize the artery in his esophagus, they felt they had stop the bleeding. However, three days later in recovery, I again felt something off in my spirit.
The nurses, as well as my husband, assured me he was on the mend. A few hours later, he asked to use the bathroom. They put him on the bedpan, and the nurse asked me to take a walk to give him privacy, while she checked on another patient.
I actually started to, but I again felt something in my spirit tell me not to leave. I stood outside his door, and within a few minutes, I heard him moaning. When I rushed into his room, he had literally bled completely out.
He was seizing, and falling off the bed. I rushed down the hall screaming for anyone. The next thing I remember, there were 20 something medical staff working to save him, and I was informed the chaplain was being called.
I remember telling them, no, it’s not time. I dropped to my knees and began praying, as I heard code blue being called and hearing them say “we’ve lost him”. I immediately began speaking life over his body, commanding he was healed by the stripes of Jesus.
As his time of death was being called, after all efforts had been exhausted, he came back... with not one drop of blood in his body.
According to the surgeons, they would pump blood in, and his body would spill it right back out. This entire event had even surgeons speechless, as his “resurrection” could not be medically explained, thus they began calling him “Lazarus”.
This entire experience not only brought him back a changed man, it restored our already hurting marriage. You see, I had left him for three months prior. In a series of other events/miracles, I was led home only a month before this took place.
The night I found him throwing up blood, having stayed awake, I had actually planned to leave again. However, Holy Spirit once again led me home, sensing he was sick without him telling me.
While still in the hospital, he dedicated his life to God and vowed he would never take our marriage for granted, again.
The next several months were amazing. Everyone was in awe over what a different man he was. We literally had 1,000s following my posts (basically becoming blogs) and updates, people neither of us knew. A few churches reached out asking us to share our testimony.
He was dragging me to church, worshipping, joining small group, serving, giving his entire life to God. We were better than we had ever been. I knew God had performed two miracles, at that time.
Around mid June, he began doing a complete 180 back to the man he was before his “resurrection”, only worse. This began to happen shortly after he felt a call to ministry... only days after we were led to be baptized together (April).
In fact, we received confirmation of his call to ministry. Two days after he felt led, I received a text. Having told not one person about his calling, the text was from a church member - “this is going to sound strange, but I was praying and Holy Spirit led me to reach out and ask if Jake had ever considered ministry”.
We were both floored and excited. However, only a few short weeks later, practically over a weekends time of arguing, his “180” began him talking of divorce. Over the next few weeks from there, he began pulling away from church, to eventually not wearing his ring, spending the night out, etc.
Now, one week before this past Christmas (three weeks ago), he wakes me with divorce papers. I was completely blindsided. I don’t understand what’s happened, how it’s happened and how God would allow such a miracle, only to be torn apart. Our testimony would have been so powerful (I’m leaving so much out).
I’ve even felt called so strongly to stand among 1000s to give our testimony and touch other marriages, to minister to them. I’ve been led to promise God that I would do this and more, not truly knowing where this leading was coming from.
Then, God led me to Job 22:21-30, one week after I began making my vow. Today, Psalm 116:14 and 18. The commonality in these verses is assuring me I will be held to my vows I’ve made before the Lord.
These past few months, and especially weeks, I’ve spent so much time on my knees praying, begging, and crying. At times, the enemy has made me feel so foolish for believing for a marriage miracle after it felt God was giving so many confirmations he was going to restore us.
In my state, this divorce can be done in 30 days. It doesn’t seem real, and virtually impossible to stop. It would take an absolute miracle, especially since his mother is funding it.
She explained she loves me, but wants her son to be “happy”. It’s all happening so fast, I’ve been so angry and confused, but slowly God has begun bringing me peace and building my hope.
Like you, I have asked God for specific signs, starting at Christmas. I’ve yet to see that one. However, I also asked for prophesy.
This past Saturday, by the grace of God, I was connected with a world know prophetess/minister. As you can well imagine, she fields tons of messages. However, she said Holy Spirit led her to reach out to me, personally.
After a THREE hour conversation, she told me that Holy Spirit was showing her that my marriage was going to be restored. Since that time, I’ve spent more time in prayer, and fasting.
Last night, another well know pastor that I tune into daily, put out a video. She always chooses to lead with a verse she picks out as the frame work for her message. Last night was Jeremiah 31:11 “I will deliver Jacob”.
My husband’s name is Jacob! However, like you and even through all of this, I still over analyze and need confirmation/reassurance. I have once again been asking God to have him text me just a simple “Hey” (which in itself would be a miracle that he text me at all.
Ive still received nothing, and am going on a month that I’ve not seen him, while I stay with family. To make matters worse, our anniversary is in two days.
All of this shared to request that, you and all who are willing, please lift him up with me. I’m believing for his restoration to God, first and foremost. That his calling be fulfilled, and that our marriage be restored... this divorce be stopped, and our powerful testimony be shared, in Jesus name.
I can feel it in my very being that we have an amazing testimony to share. It began, last year, and this restoration will make it all the more powerful. Even then we had people (we had never met) stopping us at stores and on the street, introducing themselves and telling us how they followed my blogs on social media. Churches reached out asking us to give testimony, and some approached me asking if I had ever considered writing a book or blogging for churches.
It was all overwhelming, to say the least, and clearly the enemy was extremely threatened. Through all of this, I know God’s hand is at work, but it is still within our nature to doubt... most likely even if a burning bush assured us our prayers would be met with victory. :)

Ashley Davidson Ashley, God will restore your marriage. Remember that we walk by faith and not by sight. Know that just because we don’t see anything happening or confirmations, it doesn’t mean that God is not working. You’ve went through what you did solely for God.. so you may bring Him glory. He will deliver you and He will carry you through this. He is using you. This is a time for you to be a prayer warrior and intercede for your husband. We know that your husband isn’t the enemy, but the rulers of the darkness of this world. You can save your husband. God has to build you both back before he can restore it. This test IS your testimony. You didn’t experience what you have for no reason. Nothing can come between what God has created. The enemy can try and take your promises away but we know that God is more powerful. We know that the devil is a liar. Continue to stand and be persistent and strategic with your prayer. Zaesha Hudson Thank you, Zae. It’s very difficult, at times, when all odds seemed stacked against us. Add to that the fact I believe there is someone else. Though I can’t prove it, logic would dictate that to be the case, given his patterns and how quickly he filed. That makes this reality seem even more impossible, though I know we serve the great I Am, where nothing is impossible. I do wish he would give me a sign, as he did you. Not receiving one makes me further question whether these other occurrences (such as the prophetess and scriptures I’ve been led to) are not accurate, and simply what I’m wanting to hear. I battle with those doubts vs not being able to possibly accept that we would go through so much, sparing Jakes life, being led to baptism, etc just have those beauties and our Holy union stolen by the enemy.

Zaesha Hudson Yikes! That’s sooooo confusing, though. Isn’t that why you were essentially asking for confirmations because you held doubt, at times ? As you shared, how does our faith get built without visual confirmations we request? By asking for specific signs, and seeing them materialize, I can only imagine what a faith builder that is.

I’m still not sure who can and can’t see my RUclips comments, and God has definitely led me to keep these issues away from too many people we actually know. This video is where we are in our current state. We live separately, but we are still in the same state. I too am a military wife and am in San Antonio. My husband filed for a divorce and the enemy is deceiving him to believe that marriage is no longer from him. However, I am still STANDING for my marriage. I have been praying, supplicating, fasting, getting Godly counsel (by those that are actual counselors and others that knows God’s Word), going to church twice a week, on two different weekly prayer lines, read the Bible, a book, watching movies and videos of marriages being restored, Let Go and Let God have control over our marriage, etc. I have even done this thing called The Love Dare Challenge and it is a 40 day challenge where you get a daily scripture and a task. All in all, it is teaching you to love unconditionally like God loves us. I am thankful for you sharing this because I joined Rejoice Marriage Ministries, today and the MP3 given to me was a blessing. I asked for God to help me to be able to pray for my husband and in the app they give you a 12 days of prayer for your husband. I even began my prayer journal, today. God used you as a form of my confirmation because he’s been speaking to me saying that he hates divorce.

I made it 5 mins in and was in tears. I’m currently in the same spot as you. Weirdly my husbands name is Donnie as well. God has told me to be still and my marriage would be restored and it’s hard to trust that. Right now I’m totally leaning on God. Praying constantly. Listening to worship music and sermons when I feel weak doubtful or discouraged. I also prayed so many many times for confirmations and literally every time time he shows me. My husband has finally agreed to speak with the elders at our church and we’re speaking so much more. I truly believe with time and me letting go and letting God my marriage will too be restored. Hi there! This was inspiring. I initiated divorce with my husband a few weeks ago. Last week I was a a Lot Less in Manhattan. I was talking randomly with this better woman. Another woman entered the conversation. She gave me some words of wisdom, prayed over me, and told me to give my marriage over to God. She told me not to share my marriage "miseries with friends. She stayed that many were either jealous of my marriage or simply wanted to gossip. I am praying more, listening to the word more.

Praise God for His greatness!!. Now God open the communication door that is welded shut between my wife and I. Break open the seal and jam it open Lord for the rest of our days and may there always be a sweetness, a beautiful fragrance about HOW we communicate with each other Lord. I have watched this testimony everyday for the past 4 days. Every other testimony that I have watched or read have been on how the couple divorced and then were restored. I really don't want to divorce but after hearing these testimonies, they encouraged fear over faith. I can feel the fear of divorce gripping my heart. I'm doing my best to stay in faith and stand for my marriage.

This video restored my faith. My wife is fighting against me and I have loved her since I was 12. Im 50 years old now and she means more to me than she knows. The past 2 weeks God and me have become very close. I was getting depressed and didnt feel like doing anything. I couldn't concentrate on my job or when I had my kids. Now starting a group of ladies that I can pray with and have Bible studies with to assist through rough times. The pain was hard and now on the other side better than ever.
I am praying for everyone, I ask you guys also lift me up in prayer. I have been married for 9 years unfortunately my husband has suffered an addiction to opioids in December 2017, a family member of his introduced him. We have been separated since March 2018 he has always been a good man. We joined church, he respected me so much. He adopted my son , he was literally my best friend. I found out he was using, he denied it. His attitude completely changed. The enemy came in and surrounded him with different friends and relationships. I pray the Lord brings Jared home and allows him to get help and we restore our marriage. I pray the Lords removes those influences out his life and removes those drugs. This situation has grown me closer to God. I am much stronger then I was, to be there and get him the help he needs. I pray we are a testimony to other young couples or anyone who is struggling!
I am so thankful for this video. Honestly lately I've been contemplating divorcing my husband lately because he was a foster child and gets very emotionally and mentally abusive and unstable when he is mad. But we gave 2 babies and I've been trying for 5 years to help him get through his depression and anxiety. Lately though it's been a battle for me to just love and have compassion for him because of his temper. The stress and worrying about him and the kids have been driving me a lil crazy and sometimes I just want to quit. Praise God for His mercy. I have been divorced for about 1 year but still praying and seeking reconciliation. My ex-wife is still in our church which is awkward and hard but the Lord is giving grace. Most people even in the church have said I should "move on" but that is neither biblical nor my desire. The enemy will always try you, but GOD will always see us through. I was diagnosed with breast cancer, but GOD is working everything out, my husband and I got back together, we moved to Fl, then I got diagnosed with cancer. I take my last treatment this month, and I just wanna praise GOD, because without him I can make it though Nothing.
I would rejoice and cry with joy if my husband comes back to me like the way he loved me when we first met and married. He is a lovely man but he started going out with different women which he said they were friends. I picked up on those things and he started drifted away from me and now although we do everything together we do have any other contacts as a husband and wife would do for the last 5 years now. I just go along I would like him to be a proper husband. He has done the same to his ex wife as well when she corrected him. Please pray for me. I will be a faithful wife till I die to him. That’s what I have promised to my God when I married him. Please pray for me I beg. Amen

I've been going through the same thing, and my story is absolutely similar to yours! It is a lot more accelerated, the restoration is going a lot faster, and I know it will be completely healed. This testimony was wonderful, with God everything is possible.
Here's a tip: Rest. Rest in God, pray, have faith, believe it already happened, and REST. Detach from constantly thinking about your spouse, you'll see restoration will happen a lot faster. Mine is a true story, I hope this reaches someone who needs this and encourages them! 💛

I got married last year and ever since the devil has been fighting my marriage,.Recently my husband wants out of the marriage, living a secret life, seeing another woman that he wants to build a life with all because he thinks I can never have children for him. Oh, God is so good! He's restoring my marriage, as my husband came home 5 months ago after about 6 months of separation. I noticed how he kept communicating during that time too. God kept giving me rainbows as a sign too!
And get this: I remember watching your video before and today it popped up after I sent an image of a rainbow to my husband on the anniversary of when we met. I had to pause the video because he came in the room to check on me and we hugged. God is so good and He has brought me so far.
