Since 2006 I have been creating content for The Judy Garland Experience on Yahoo, RUclips, Instagram, Google, Facebook, and twitter. As well as contributing to other peoples projects whether they be audio or visual media, or print. In over 15 years and over 600 videos and thousands of rare files offered via Yahoo I have never sought or accepted financial assistance to help offset the costs of what I have been doing for the Garland community. Now I am. If people appreciate what I have been doing and want to support my search to find and post new content feel free to become a patron. If you can't afford to or for whatever reason don't want to, it's okay, my content will still be free to whomever wants to view or hear it. Please let me add a special thanks to all the people who have written to me or found other ways to contact me to let me know how much they enjoy the content. That means everything because you guys are why I do it. Your support of what I do is what keeps this train a chuggin' along. Thank you. www.patreon.com/user?u=74704528 - Видеоклипы
About 20 years ago I was at the hospital right outside Detroit picking up a family member and they had left an old lady on a stretcher in the hallway by herself. She had to be in her 90s. I stood there and talked with her to keep her company (there was no one there with her). In our conversation I asked her "Ma'am who were some of the people you got to see when you were younger?"
This was her response:
"Oh young man I don't remember...but I'll tell you who I DID see...I saw Judy Garland when she came here!!!". That lady had forgotten most of her life but she remembered seeing Judy Garland. That sums up Judy's power as an artist.
I saw a great country music show in Cobo Hall in 1976, it was Dottie West and Jack Greene & Jeannie Seely
❤
WHAT!?!? I grew up in Detroit in the 50s and 60s… and I never knew she performed there… you mean I could have seen Judy LIVE??!! OMG
Thank you for all your incredible work Buzz. You genuinely bring so much joy to fans lives and keep her legacy alive. No ego, no agenda, no motive other than sharing treasures and giving fans a complete look at a fascinating career - you’re a one-off and the Judy Garland community is forever in your debt. I thank all the bootleggers, all the historic fans that snuck tape recorders into concerts, ethics and rules be damned, these brave people captured history and captured genius. Thank you for preserving it 💛
Rough night with the voice, but she never fails to connect with the audience. Too bad this wasn't an age of 'An Evening With...' retrospectives. She could have limited the live songs, shown clips, done Q&A and charmed them with her humor and stories on nights her voice was not fully there. They'd have gone home just as in love with her.
Como siempre muchisimas gracias!!!!!!!!!! No hay nada mas hermoso, electrico y emocionante que los shows en vivo de la eterna Judy Garland...!!! Dios lo bendiga sr. Buzz.
