Jason, I always enjoy your Pantasy reviews. I’ve collected Lego for decades but have built Pantasy’s Astro Boy and Popeye sets. And after you reviewed the computer set, l ordered and built it. Their gold and metallic bricks make their sets pop. I wish Lego would use those colors on some of their sets. Chrome would have made their Harley Davidson pop. Thanks again for sharing these reviews.
Wow nice to see some variety from another 'brick' company. Although it doesn't fit my collection I really like the functionality of the clock mechanism! Would be interesting if Lego could do something like that as well! Thanks again for an alternative view on the hobby!

I just think these give a look at something beside the same 100 different Lego reviews currently out there this week and it’s a peek at what else is out there. If nothing else I like to see some of the different build techniques used as it can help spur other creative ideas.
These pantasy sets seem to be top quality in these reviews. They just haven't offered anything I'm ready to purchase. I really hope they get to a point they are really competitive against Lego, so Lego will have to up their game with more chrome and print pieces. It just amazes me that pantasy is able to offer sets with all printed elements at a lower price point than Lego. I realize Lego has trademark fees on alot of their sets that eat into profits but you'd think at some point another company will have them looking into stepping up their game and at this point pantasy seems to be that company.
Steampunk isn't my thing, but seeing all those moving parts is really cool. The overall arrangement of things on the baseplate seems odd, though. I don't think a car is the best use of baseplate space, but it looks like someone could add their own custom builds on that space if they wanted to.
I think I understand what you mean as it seems as though the taxi is on the sidewalk. Having the taxi there is better than nothing but I think the issue comes down to the relatively small foot print of the clock tower in relation to the baseplate. But if they made it wider then they would have to adjust the height so as not to make look odd. This response is getting long and I’m not sure if it makes sense or if I even know where I was going.
I've got this set and haven't built it yet.was going to display with the winter sleigh ride from Lego. I didn't know it was so technical though to build. Great review. Thanks Jason

It does move slower than I had expected, however I am not 100% sure if that is by design or a result of an error by the person who assembled the set. Either one could be equally as accurate.

Never been into the steam punk thing, but irregardless, the build looks great. Love these Pantasy reviews.

Funwhole bricks also do a steampunk line and their sets come with lights.

When you get around to it, good luck. Just make sure to pay attention to the steps when building the internal mechanism and you will be fine.

This is a nice steam punk set. I love the gold and the mechanism! But isn't the pendulum swinging a bit slowly?
It does move slower than I had expected, however I am not 100% sure if that is by design or a result of an error by the person who assembled the set. Either one could be equally as accurate.
