Shoppers bid Metrocenter Mall farewell as it closes doors for good

- It's the end of an era as one of the most iconic shopping malls in the country and one that's right here in the Valley closes for good. The final cruise around Metrocenter, built back in 1973, was in Tuesday, as long-time shoppers said their goodbyes.

I wonder why it died, it was an awesome place back in the 70’s and 80’s
I hope they save the building itself
And do what with it? It’s way to big for a single store and not designed for a college or office building.

I've been crying about this place when Lilly, sparky, Evel Chuck, dragon, Marry, and a few others like myself tiny time from 1997-2003 when the last time we all spend owr last days here together and I couldn't find one of them before the last days here and I'm still crying at leas one hour or more everyday about it if any mall rats from that time my love and heart goes to you all for being apart of my life changes of my life today and I will never will for get you all if any mall rats of my time you can find me on Facebook under mike Truhler and only mall rats please
Metrocenter has sucked since they got rid of the cobblestone style floors, wooden upper mail railings, and giant concrete shade structures at the entrances.
Turn it into an outdoor mall.
It’s going to be an Amazon fulfillment center
