- Why do we say Baghdiya to Labour and Workers who come from outside side? Meaning of this word we try to explore and decode in this world. While we welcome everyone with open arms but unknowingly we have started using a very strong and racist word towards outsiders.

Even in my school days i had been mocked as bagadiya and it hurts even more when a child calls you by that but that is not the case with every dogra . I was very fortunate that i got good people in majority and i am proud to born in jammu , thankful and indebted to the land of jammu which gave my father immense prosperity and the land has nourished my soul and body and got an opportunity to have good education which might be not possible to have in my native place , if i had born there. May bawe wali mata gives me strength to create resource for future generation of J&K

"Bagdiya" shabd ka sahi istemaal "badgi" language bolne walon k liye hota hai jo mainly punjab k abohar district me hote hain aur Rajasthan me b hain ...i don't know why some people are are using this word for the people from U.P , bihar, etc🤔

I respect the feeling of Ambal team that they are making such videos of social cause but facts are misinterpreted here. Bagadiya means people from the Bagad. Bagad is the land over which Raja Goga has once ruled. It is known as bagad desh historically. You have misinterpreted the facts to show that Dogras are wrong and it is here from last 3-4 years jb se Dogra activism kuchh zyada uchhala hai.
(बागड़) Bagadadesha (बागड़देश) was a region situated in Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, uttarpradesh, bihar etc. Its ancient name was Vargata (बार्गट).
वार्गाटिकान्वयोद्भूतसद्दिप्रकुलसंभव: ।
Hindi mei bolu toh Bagad lafaz बार्गट , बागट , वगाड़ , वाग्वर आदि रूप से शिलालेखों पर उत्कीर्ण मिलता हैं!
It's historical term na ki derogatory. Us hisaab se Dogra bhi na bola jaaye, kashmiri bhi na bola jaaye. Content ke liye kuchh bhi mtlv kuchh bhi. Iss baar comment remove na karein and please reply.

Yeah its also the tone in which its spoken. And it also becomes a casteist remark. Not all masons and plumbers are bagadias.

Pls aisee words use krka kisi ko gali na doo... Even I notice Max matured people's in jammu use these words against poor labourers,,. Why uh abused somebody,, .... Insan ke sahi aquat wahi se pta lgti ha wo apne se poors ke sath kaise behaviour krta haai.. nd brother why ur asking meaning of that word infront of camera ,,,,..khud socho jammu balo agr apki sister apke brother apki wife ke samne apka boss apko galiya de aur aap kuch na kr sako bec of hunger....
