Please pray for my brother Kenneth. He has been diagnosed with depression in the past but is now suffering from psychosis which can lead to schizophrenia.
Please pray that God would heal him from all mental disorders, release him from any demonic opression and fill him with the Holy Spirit.

I might have a suggestion for you since I was in similar situation in the past. In my case, I have bipolar, which showed signs of depression first then developed into full-blown mania with psychosis. I suggest you check him up to psychiatrist before it's too late, because it can be dangerous for both your brother and your family. I'm happy to help if you have further question.
Please Lord, give Kenneth your peace. Heal him from his own thinking, and set him free from rumination. You know his heart, so you know what bothers him. Amin.
Keep him practice gently yoga with qualified teacher when he feel the better doing the day and everyday. Yama and Nijama is like two blocks of 10 condemned. I had the same diagnosis twelve years ago but right now my doctors doesn't know at all when it is with me. 🥰 Let the God bless your brother and you.

As a Bible teacher to children, the Bible project helps me to teach in ways that they understand. As an adult, the Bible project helps me to better understand the Bible. This video explains a lot and why I always feel uneasy in some churches that are showy. I feel like our devotion to god is private , this isn’t to say you can’t do it in public but your intent shouldn’t be for attention from others .
I too do not like "showy" churches, but I will say that because the world is full of so many different people, there will be a person who is drawn to the church that is more like a stage. Hopefully they will meet God there.
1:53 I love the added detail of the merchant being uncomfortable with all the praise and promotion. It perfectly conveys how easy it is to fall into this particular trap. Even if he didn't mean to advertise himself or make this about him, that's how it happened anyway. And for our modern times? This is, no question, the easiest, unintentional display to walk into.

I love this series! As a kid, my uncle got me a bible. I didn't know where to start, so he bookmarked the sermon on the mount in Matthew. I started reading at home and couldn't put it down.

The faith walk isn't as straightforward as one would think 🥲 that is why, i guess, we need to ask God for guidance, discernment, wisdom and knowledge.. right?? I was born a Christian, but i technically don't practice my faith as i should because i never know if I'm doing something right (like praying, or worrying but calling it a prayer🙈) but these videos are so warming to watch. I wouldn’t worry about practicing your faith “as you should”… if you want to know God, or even want to WANT to know God, I think that’s how you know you’re on the right track. :) A verse that’s comforted me recently is from Revelation 3:20. My version reads: “‘Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.’” In Jesus’s own words, he reminds you and I that if we hear his voice and let him into our hearts, he WILL enter. Another great verse is Acts 17:27-28.

Agree with the above comment. I would add John 15. Jesus is the vine, we are the branch. I go back to that chapter often. Hope it helps you as well.

Love how you guys tackle not only these topics, but also dive in to the etymology and culture contexts of things in the bible. Especially since over time things have been lost and mistranslated.

I am aware that it will be your reward and that is it but sometimes I feel that I can be the example to encourage others. Even if I can get one person to start giving then that is rewarding for me. I never take credit and say please give the credit to GOD because I am the one he sent. But I also watch people giving on the internet and it gives me hope in humanity. I pray for discernment.
So refresing to watch this. The public praise can be so deceiving and poisoning to the heart.
I pray that all peolle watchiny this video can find that social credit is limited but God Almighty credit is limitless.
