I'll be in Yokohama in two weeks, so this was a great find! Interesting video on street photography there :-) Love the background music.

Thanks! I’m guessing you’ll have more relaxing weather than I had, so it might be a bit more enjoyable.

I will be going to Japan in a month and just stumbled accidentally on your channel from your William Eggleston video. I guess I will hang around here :P

I had a pretty good guess why, you would not find Yokohama's Chinatown that interesting and I was right. Now being from small town Iowa, I would find much more interesting. Ah perspective. Sadly, I did not visit Yokohama, other than to transfer to a local train to Fujisawa/Enoshima. So thank you for sharing the pictures.

If I didn’t take photos in Bangkok’s Chinatown so regularly and I had more time in Yokohama I might’ve found it more appealing. I wished I’d taken more time to just relax there instead of running around like a maniac 😅

@@developingtank I know how that is. I wished I had spent more time in the Enoshima, Fujisawa, and Kamakura area. A goal for next time.

you might have had more luck going to the other side of yokohama station, near the vivre building, there's usually a lot of activity there. and chinatown seems to only really get going at night. happy travels~

Ah too bad I missed that. I found it a bit hard to research on short notice. Any suggestions beyond the standard places in Tokyo? Thank you!

@@developingtank hmm it depends on what you're really looking for, but places like shimo-kitazawa, koenji, kichijoji, nakano, or yanaka are all interesting and lively while not being THE spots everyone always goes to

Went to Shimokitazawa the other day having never heard of it before and really enjoyed it. I’ll check those other spots out for sure. Thanks!
