Bikepacking Bicycle Trip
Location: Argentina Patagonia
Starting point: Bariloche
Ending point: El Bolson
Distance: 169 km
Duration: 5 days
This short movie was made during a 5 day bikepacking trip along the famous "Huella Andina" (Andean Trail in english).
The route is 169 km long, connects the cities of Bariloche and El Bolson and more than 65% of the trip is off-road.
This is the first time someone does this route without support. This is because bikepacking is the ONLY way it can be done, and this gear was not available in Argentina before.
Some of the trails are extremely difficult. Riding this route is only for experienced riders and fearless bikepackers.
Bikepacking gear is necessary to complete this trip and succeed.
This trip was done without support vehicle or external help.
The video was shot by one of the riders with GoPro 7 a DJI Mavic PRO drone and a a SONY A6500 camera.
We used a Sigma GPS ROX 7.0 and maps for navigation
