    Thanks for your videos! I have a question about the the days after the seeding.... why it's important that the seeds are covered by something? Would it be a problem if they were lighted from the first day on?

    Thanks for another great vid! Why did you get out of growing mini greens and lettuce? Was it a poor market for them, or the time or difficulty involved in growing such crops?

    Thank you for your time and effort in providing so much information. I do appreciate you! Do the pads expand as they absorb the water or do they hold their dry shape? I'm getting ready to cut my first pads.

    Hi Larry! Looking to get into this and the videos and documentation have been very helpful. One question. Why do you measure your seeds out in terms of volume instead of by weight? 100 ml versus X grams or ounces? It seems that some will always fall off and you don't bother to add them back onto the pads you measured the seeds out for so the exact amount doesn't seem to matter a whole lot. Is there a reason for it or is this a "it's always what I've done" thing? It makes it hard to estimate production costs when I can't convert your amounts to a 5 or 10 pound bag of seed and how long that will last. Thanks!

    Great video Larry. I have never heard of Borage. What type of restaurant is Bygone? What are some good uses for Borage that might help knowing who to offer this type of microgreen to?

    • @LarryHountz_City-Hydro
      @LarryHountz_City-Hydro  6 лет назад +2

      Bygone is a very high end restaurant about $150.00-$200.00 for 2 GREAT food. Borage taste like sweet cucumber works great on ceviche, salads and makes a great infuser for vodka (video on that coming ;-) )

    Should the cilantro be the same 70mil per 4 pads? Mine never germinated and started to actually grow mold. Maybe it's because I have the whole seeds and not the split?

      @@city-hydropuremicrogreenst1701 I understand this, but can you just soak them completely, put them in a tray and then sow the seeds? You only do this in order to preserve the fallen seeds?

    Hi Larry. Is the Hydrogen Peroxide you use to spray the tray with (to clean the tray) diluted with water, or is it 100% Hydrogen Peroxide? Thanks.

    • @LarryHountz_City-Hydro
      @LarryHountz_City-Hydro  4 года назад

      3% at 100% - We use 3% hydrogen peroxide from McKesson they use a high grade stabilizer and we are using for sanitation purposes not to drink thus we fell there are no issues with the stabilizer concern of using an industrial grade peroxided www.amazon.com/McKesson-Hydrogen-Peroxide-Solution-Bottle/dp/B076CRRC68/ref=sr_1_9_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1524052039&sr=8-9&keywords=hydrogen+peroxide
      35% Hydrogen peroxide is extremely corrosive and a strong oxidizer. It can cause severe burns. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children. The vapor is extremely irritating. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and hair. Do not take internally. For fire or spill flood with water immediately. Toxic or fatal if swallowed at full strength.
