    Larry you are amazing!!!!!! You have inspired my grows here in Western NY. I am not selling my micros but my wife thinks we should. I worked in upscale Kitchens for over 2 decades. Never has anyone ever walked in with the quality of product you produce. I just grow for the family but watching you and a bunch of the soil guys brings me great joy. As a chef I really appreciate the use dough trays and sheet pans. I have adapted with fish tubs and bamboo. I do it in loose coco with great results. I am playing with coco pads now. Your videos have helped me very much. Happy growing from a huge fan!

    Happy Monday Larry. Thanks for starting another grow along. I have been growing peas without any spacer, but watching this video I learned quite a bit about refining the techniche for making sure my grow goes better, safer, and cleaner. You exude attention to every detail, making the best grow you can for your customers. I'm very grateful for the info you share.

    Your city water must be cheap. Watching you let the tap run made me cringe 😂 Many thanks for taking the time to do these videos 👍

    Thank you Larry. Appreciate your wisdom. My concern with using 3% is the fillers that are in 3%. I was thinking along the line of 35% food grade and diluting down to 3%. Would that in your opinion make better sense. I'm loving your energy and the videos. I'm based in Almaty Kazakhstan at the moment, so wish we could get those pads here. Loving the grow alongs

      The stabilizers in McKesson Hydrogen Peroxide are high quality after I talked with them I am not concerned.

    When rinsing does the PH balance matter? Can we just use tap water?

      We use 3% Hydrogen peroxided full strength from McKesson they use a high grade stabilizer and we are using for sanitation purposes not to drink thus we fell there are no issues with the stabilizer concern of using an industrial grade peroxided www.amazon.com/McKesson-Hydrogen-Peroxide-Solution-Bottle/dp/B076CRRC68/ref=sr_1_9_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1524052039&sr=8-9&keywords=hydrogen+peroxide
      35% Hydrogen peroxide is extremely corrosive and a strong oxidizer. It can cause severe burns. Handle with care and keep out of reach of children. The vapor is extremely irritating. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and hair. Do not take internally. For fire or spill flood with water immediately. Toxic or fatal if swallowed at full strength.

    After I soak my peas for 12 hours and rinse about 4 to 5 times.. I add my hydrogen peroxide mix and my peas fizzle up. They will bubble for 15 minutes if I let them. Does anyone else ever experience this? It's like the bubbles come from within the peas. I'm using the sprouting peas from True Valley Seeds.

      You need to check your water source, I have never seen peas fizzle up. With all the mold issues you are having its seems to be an environmental issue. You are more then welcome to seed me 1lb of your peas for me to try.

      Larry Hountz Thanks! I may have to send you them. They did the same thing last week and this week. Last week I used RO water and this week I used tap. I seeded some kobi and spicy mix and I noticed those seeds fizzed a little too. I got my seeds in a cool dry place sealed up in 5 gallon plastic buckets. But I'm thinking maybe all my seeds got mold somehow? I'm not sure but I sprayed the heck out of those seeds with peroxide today. I really don't know where the problem is stemming from but its probably expensive whatever it is.

      We have another person who is having the same issues as you are using RO water, have you tried using bottled water?

    • @nicksangetta8874
      @nicksangetta8874 6 лет назад +1

      Larry Hountz I have not tried bottled water. But that is interesting that they are having same issues. Have you known anyone who has had success using RO water? I have tap water running into my grow area. I could slap a new filter system on it and see if that clears it up.

    • @LarryHountz_City-Hydro
      @LarryHountz_City-Hydro  6 лет назад

      We have had a few with issues and some that it works, personally I opted not to do RO filter

    Hi Larry, what % hydrogen peroxide do you use. Are you using 35% food grade
