  • Terry Stewart (tezza) talks about vintage/classic computers in his collection: The NEC PC-8201a (and TRS-80 Model 100). A further description can be seen here: www.classic-computers.org.nz/...
This video is the second remaster, within a couple of months. The original video was low-res and the audio was poor. Using AI, the first remaster improved the audio. Again using AI and larger static images, this second remaster has improved the resolution in some sections. Nothing else has been changed regarding the content. Comments before the 1st refresh can be seen at www.classic-computers.org.nz/.... Comments after the first refresh (better audio) and this existing one (better audio and video) can be been here : www.classic-computers.org.nz/...

I wouldn't worry about not being able to get perfect restorations. There is a certain charm to lower resolution videos describing retro technology. It fits in with the theme, and you shouldn't worry about not achieving modern day aesthetic with the restoration.

Thanks for that comment. One can think of these old machines as viewed through the foggy lens of nostalgia and the passage of time 😉

Great work, Terry. I do agree with EgoChip though, the low-res does fit a video describing anything related to retro computing. ;)
