  • @darkrevise
    @darkrevise 5 лет назад +1

    Does two strand twisting your hair reduce the length of your locks? Also how long can you keep them in? Sorry for the questions but I really want to do this but I don’t know if I should wait for my locs to get longer or not. My locs for the back at least come down to my neck and at the front they come down to my eyes/ ears.

    • @BeingCHIZ
      @BeingCHIZ  5 лет назад

      No you’re fine lol... I would say the appearance will look a little short but that’s because they will be twisted up. I kept my twist in for like 3 weeks, it helped my retwist stay in longer. My braid out that I just recently took out I had those in for a week. So it’ll really be up to how long you want to keep them in :) I hope I answered all your questions :)

      Hey Terria, the reason they are coming down is bc you are twisting the 2 strands the wrong way. Since her hair is twisted to left, she has to make her 2 strand twist to the right. So, if your hair is twisted to right, you have twist your 2 strands to the left. Let me know if that helps :)

    • @BeingCHIZ
      @BeingCHIZ  5 лет назад +1

      I know 3c textured hair is softer than mine, so I’m not actually sure. But I don’t see why it would not work, the tight hold is a very firm hold in my opinion. My re twist lasted about a good 3 weeks on top of a protective two stand twist style. I think you should try it, I recommend it because I saw long lasting results with my re twist! If you do decide to get it let me know what worked and what didn’t work! Hope to hear from you soon, happy new year!! 😊
