Jenna Drawing yay!! I love them. I love seeing the progress and how each time you draw it again it looks so much better! It’s amazing. Makes me motivated to draw more!
I think the biggest thing that improved most on the colors. On the old one the colors look kinda like a muddy oil spill. But now they're brighter and look amazing!
One thing that help me with hands is not drawing all the fingers together. They look a lot more natural. But your drawings are perfect anyway, I love your style.
I WAS SO EXCITED FOR THIS! Feel proud of this one, its STUNNING. Thank you so much for the shout out, Jenna! I'm so happy if my advice helped in any way! Ember looks gorgeous!! You're so inspiring!

well deserved Canary - your character advice is so great! - also congrats on 10... I mean almost 11K! 💕
You should try a teen with acne, and maybe other awkwardness. YES HAIR DRAWING VID Everyone else already said all the compliments and more than I could say. :)
I've been part of this journey for so long, I've had 3 channels subscribed to you. Seeing you improve and watch you art through 2016,2017 made me want to improve as an artist. Now because of you, one of my biggest inspirations, I can do hyper realistic portraits now! I hope you read this because I look up to you so much as an artist and a person. Because of you I can say that I'm an artist. Thank you!
You're one of my favorite artists because I love your style and I love how much you try to improve. You realize your mistakes and try your best to fix them, but you also don't totally bash your old art. You're very admirable and a great role model for everyone.
that was an absolutely beautiful set of drawings. I love how much you have improved lately, to be honestly, I hadn't liked your art before and now I am really loving it, great job!!! Also, I would love to see what you have learned about hair since I am not too great at it myself. ps: I love draw it again videos and are one of my favorite types of art videos!
I really love how you do her hair!!! Omg... I love how you have improved in these drawings, and also go for it into making the hair tutorial! I would certainly love to see how you create the textures in the hair and how it flows. It would be great to use as a guide when I want to do digital works!
OMG SO PRETTY love the new style,I think that you should do more of these,I love to see you progress from the year before!!!! And I hope that you keep improving until you get to the place where you want to be in your art Jenna!!! I'm kinda glad that you talked about that first picture on the Ember Timeline because her mother's facial expression made it look like she was uncomfortable and was struggling to hold her up plus, Ember looked too big to be being carried in proportion to her mother
I keep coming back to this one because of how satisfying it is to watch.. the progress is incredible and i can tell how much care and time you put into this "draw this again".. it's obvious this OC means a lot to you and seeing it come to life is amazing.. and her back story and powers being showcased is a great idea . i love this character ♡
I think this one is one of your best Draw This Again repaints! It looks magical and so interesting😍 I love how much attention you pay to detail and how much thought there is behind the whole painting! Do you think you could do another paint tool sai tutorial/tips and what brushes you use? Looking forward to your next video♥️
Quick theories, does the girl in the picture with the GINGER braids and mother with BROWN hair remind you of Anna from frozen and the theories that she has fire powers and her sister had ice powers BOOM MIND BLOWN!!!🤯
Blue Lightning41 Thank you so much!!! I love making these videos :D and hey - looking at your channel I can see you’re already an amazing artist!!! ^-^
Have you done a how to (like tips and tricks) paint video for like skin and eyes? If not, could you please? I love your art and it inspires me to improve. ❤😊
I’ve made characters before, but they’re all written in words. I know how to describe them completely, from their appearance to how they’d sit in a chair. I’d just never know how to draw them, but at least I can imagine them in my head.
I love how you explained the evolution of Ember. I’m 12 now and creating characters myself, and I try my best to identify the flaws that they have. Ember is a great example for how you’ve improved your character personality and design and I love that. The improvement is amazing!
Your art style is so beautiful! All of your characters have so much feeling and they really feel like their own people with individual personalities. I love they way you draw and color hair, I would really appreciate a tutorial!
* Just finished watching the video, and I'm impressed. It's a gorgeous redo of the original and really shows how much your style's changed and improved since the first. My only suggestions would be to try having her free hand in the final panel active in some way. Perhaps flipped out and open as if Ember's controlling the magic in both hands, letting the fire flow over the palm of the lower hand like water. It may help make that arm a little less stiff looking and give you some more practice with hands in different gestures and positions. You've probably already had this tip a million times by now, but a good way to get an idea of what various body language and gestures look like from an outside perspective when referencing to paint them is to look in a mirror and try a bunch out, and take pictures of the ones that inspire you most (or have a friend take the pictures). I'd love to see lots more Ember drawing videos, by the way. I enjoy watching other OCs get drawn, but it's always fun to see an artist get to spend time on their own babies :D My main OC is Briena Erani Skysong. She's been my character since the very beginning of my roleplaying life and has evolved so much over the years, and has so many different versions of herself. xD I've settled on one version separate (for the most part) from any roleplaying I've done with other people, because I've been re-writing her history, and it's simpler to not include other people's characters (played by many people I may never have the joy of getting into contact with again someday) to avoid any raised hackles and gnashing teeth over their characters being written in the history. At some point, I intend to offer her in your Draw My OC's series... just have to get a handle on making a -short- version of her full history. xD I write like Diana Gabaldon when it comes to quantity, and my greatest weakness in writing descriptions or histories is keeping it brief >.> Ember reminded me of her, way back when I first watched the original painting video. Bri's got sapphire eyes though :P She's a princess (Now the Queen of her kingdom, Serenia), but her upbringing was vastly different. She didn't learn her true heritage until the age of sixteen. She is by far the best fun I've ever had to write with.
This is amazing, I'm so glad you redrew it!! I loved the original and I love this one. I've been following you for about 3 years, and it's so cool to see how much you have grown and changed in that time. And it has been a blast to see Ember evolve! I remember watching the original speedpaint for this as soon as I saw it in my subscriptions, and I'm so impressed with the progress you've made. One of my favorite things is that while your skill has improved drastically over the years, you always stay true to your art style. I can spot any drawing and know that you drew it, whether it is new or old. And I think that is SO COOL. You have been consistent, as well as consistently improving. I can't wait to see what you do next!
I remember watching the old video when it first came out. I must say you’ve really grown so much as an artist since then! Keep up the great work Jenna!
This piece is beautiful! You've improved so much and I love Ember's new design, Lil Ember is so cute~😍 Also you should definitely do a updated "how to draw hair" tutorial because I struggle a lot drawing hair digitally.
I really love your 'Draw this again' thing and it inspired me to do my own. So last week I went and re-drew a piece of three year old art I found and I posted the video this morning on my channel. It's so cool to see how my favorite artist's work has evoled so much yet still has the same charm and instantly recognizable style. Sorry this comment was a paragraph long - Rain (also yes please do a hair tutorial the coloring looks great now)
This is actually incredible.... being a fan for a few years, this is the biggest year of improvement for you, you will be so proud of this forever let alone next year, blown away!
It's amazing how much you've improved over the past year, especially with facial expressions. Thank you for showing us that work actually leads to progress
Speaking of redraws, I'm really excited for this years girl with the rainbow hair redraw! This one was beautiful, and you can really see your improvement!!
I love how thehair looks, particularly on the thrid one, the little shine through the strands looked like fire moving through the strands if that makes any sense. Point being the stylistic touches sutited the drawing magnificently
The one with the mom really gives the feeling of a royal portrait. I even thought it was one and I was confused as to why you included the tassel! But then I realized that they were looking out the window and it made a lot more sense! :)
The way you do hair is stunning! Can't wait to see the tutorial on it. And your improvement between the original and the new is crazy. I love these videos!
This piece is amazing and truly shows your improvement your videos always encourage me to return to my art and not just let life push me away from my passion
I have a lot of trouble drawing when I'm sad (and I'm an emotionally distraught teenage girl so that's almost all the time) but whenever I want to give up on a piece or a project I just kinda sigh to myself and think "would Jenna give up like that? No she wouldn't" and that thought is what keeps me going, you're such an inspiration
This is my first video of yours. May I just say... Your art: Beautiful! I wish I could draw like you! Your voice: Your accent is so pretty I love you voice! It's so nice to listen to your voice over drawings Your Channel: Gained a new subscriber! Stay amazing!
Oh my gosh it’s soooooo good! I remember when the first video came out This is giving me inspiration to draw all of my old drawings, which is not good because i should be studying instead 😅
Oh my goshh I’m LIVING for the newer version! This is phenomenal! I love you & your work so much, and I’m very hyped for the “How I Draw Hair” tutorial
OMGGG!!!!! This sooooooooooooooooo amazing the faces, the eyes, THE HAIR, the outfits, THAT FIRE THO!!!! Just wow, so good. 🙌🙌😱😱😱💕💕💕

YES JENNA :D - it came out amazing, I'd love to do this with my OCs at some point! also 10/10 would stream again ^w^ Also Ember is such an adorable child 😍
Zoë Marriner Thank you so much Zoë!! ^-^ PLEASEEE OMG I want to see a jellal one :o

Also I thought you used Neuschwanstein Castle as Ember's castle and I was right - fun fact it's also the basis of Loka's castle as well although I changed it quite a bit. ^^

You welcome Jenna! - People have been wanting more Jellal (Obviously wanting more feels I see) - I will deliver >:D *-evil feels taking laughter-*
I can't help but feel really proud with this piece! It turned out amazing, it has so much more life and depth to it then the old one! Also I believe that you really did capture that whimsical feeling pretty well (though that might be influenced by the great music choice). Overall this was so great Jenna!
I’ve been loving watching you evolve over just the year alone. A beautiful piece. You’ve inspired me to start drawing again and take art classes. Thank you! 💖
Acting out the character I think is a good way to build them too. I had been doing this for a number of years to my character bunny the rabbit, and it has improved his personality greatly. But I love the style of this Jenna, from the expressions to the backgrounds and the fluid ness of your work. You really worked your magic on this one and it’s come out beautifully! You also asked if you wanted us to see another draw this again, I would honestly love to see another as I really love to see the development of your work. but I would also love to see a draw this again fan work too. So this would be something were fans can submit their work and you redraw it for them, or maybe a collab with another online artist where you draw each others old work . Or maybe even a showcase of fans drawing work for you. But they are just a few suggestions, can’t wait to see what you have in stock for us next!
Well The Mona Lisa took 15 years to complete, and right before da Vinci died, he still thought it was incomplete. So 16 hours on a picture this beautiful, I think your doing amazing!
While watching this.... I was thinking , why don't you make a comic using your character I would really love reading it if you will..... Since I like reading comics, I recommend you doing it... I love it 😍... Thank you for making me happy just by watching you draw
I always think about my characters in the process of drawing them And when I think about there backstory I think about every scar and every bruise and stuff And it’s the same thing with my Sims characters and then I want to play with them but I already have a family in this word to play with I really like the way your drawing turned out!
Love this drawing!! A hair tutorial would be amazing, I always struggle with hair and you draw hair so well❤️ Ember’s story seems really interesting too, it would be cool to learn more about her.
This is absolutely gorgeous and so vibrant. The colors are very good and the feeling in front of those 3 new ones is truly unique. I have myself too a character which is the daughter of a Queen and I also tend to make her too perfect and I should work on this. Thanks for the tip and great video once again ! :)
NOOOOOO make more soon. We don’t mind being “ overwhelmed “ with these videos 🙃
Kyra Ooo okay I’ll make more then haha :D
Jenna Drawing yaay make more

Can you do a video in the future showing all the evolutions and redesigns that ember been thought since you created her?
malualvesishere That’s such a good idea - I’d love to do that!!! :D
The background music is the wii sports theme song as a music box 😂😂😂
Emma Mae Gridley omg i didn’t notice
Emma Mae Gridley Who cares?
i Jaime nobody. I just thought it was funny because it was so subtle
Bronwyn potato potahto 😂
It's the Wii Shop theme.
I want to be overwhelmed with draw this again videos
Vika Tobin Ooo okay I’ll be sure to make more then!! :D

Ember looks gorgeous!! You're so inspiring!

Y'all she straight up looks like a cooler version of Anna from Frozen. I love it😍😍
OMG I WANNA SEE ANOTHER DRAW THIS AGAIN I LOVE TO SEE TALENTED ARTISTS OLD DRAWINGS AND HOW MUCH THEY'VE IMPROVED.
I really love how you do her hair!!! Omg... I love how you have improved in these drawings, and also go for it into making the hair tutorial! I would certainly love to see how you create the textures in the hair and how it flows. It would be great to use as a guide when I want to do digital works!

Jenna Drawing
Thank you so much! You’ve made my day.
I really like it, my only complaint is the way the characters look at the "camera" breaks the fourth wall.
Potato Kitty who knows, maybe it could be through like an actual camera as in someone took pictures for a photobook or something like that?
Have you done a how to (like tips and tricks) paint video for like skin and eyes? If not, could you please? I love your art and it inspires me to improve. ❤😊

Warm, whimsical, freespirited, determined, magical, like a Disney movie.
Oh wow!! I cant believe its been 2 1/2 years already?! Im happy to see your art change over time and im happy im still here :) Thank you again

Speaking of redraws, I'm really excited for this years girl with the rainbow hair redraw! This one was beautiful, and you can really see your improvement!!
I love how you add shine to the hair, I think it's very beautiful.
your "draw this again" videos are my favourite it's sooooo cool to see your improvement over the years
Aaah, I love it! The difference between the old and new teenage Ember are especially impressive to me. Good job!
I love how thehair looks, particularly on the thrid one, the little shine through the strands looked like fire moving through the strands if that makes any sense. Point being the stylistic touches sutited the drawing magnificently
this has always been one of my favourites. the whole idea of an OC timeline i love. your redraw is beautiful! i cant wait to learn more about Ember
I LOVE draw this again videos! They're possibly my favourite!
The background music is so relaxing, I’m so sleepy naw....

Jenna Drawing yeah it’s great!! Dying in LA makes me cry every time.
Love your work :D
I love how the new one is so much better, while still looking like the same piece as the original!
Great artwork I really love how you redesigned ad redrew her! The painting was amazing
Woahhhhh you improved a LOT holy cow. I love how you go back to your old art and redraw it to see what you improved on

I’ve been loving watching you evolve over just the year alone. A beautiful piece. You’ve inspired me to start drawing again and take art classes. Thank you! 💖
This is gorgeous! It totally gives off a fantasy vibe, honestly your style works really well for this concept!
Acting out the character I think is a good way to build them too. I had been doing this for a number of years to my character bunny the rabbit, and it has improved his personality greatly. I always think about my characters in the process of drawing them
And when I think about there backstory I think about every scar and every bruise and stuff
And it’s the same thing with my Sims characters and then I want to play with them but I already have a family in this word to play with
I really like the way your drawing turned out!
It’s beautiful! We support you so much on all the work you do!
I would love a hair video!!!!!
Love this drawing!! A hair tutorial would be amazing, I always struggle with hair and you draw hair so well❤️ Ember’s story seems really interesting too, it would be cool to learn more about her.
I LOVEEE the way you’ve changed the hair!
Oh my, I remember when that first video came out and I was so amazed... if only I could have seen where you would come
This is absolutely gorgeous and so vibrant. The colors are very good and the feeling in front of those 3 new ones is truly unique.
I have myself too a character which is the daughter of a Queen and I also tend to make her too perfect and I should work on this. Thanks for the tip and great video once again ! :)
