    I've been working through Foundations on the Odin Project for a few months and your channel has inspired me to start making videos of my own. Seeing your story is incredibly inspiring and motivates me to continue learning web development, thanks for your videos! :)

    Your videos are super inspiring. I fell off learning to code a month ago. You have got me back on the wagon. I look forward to seeing more of your journey.

    stuck on the foundations. Can't seem to be able to publish my recipe for the solutions at the very end of the HTML project. They offer you two options, View code and Live Preview. Went through youtube and googled for solutions and I keep on getting old solutions which are outdate from 2014. Struggling but I will figure it out soon! Pretty sure you had an easier time than me, you make it look so easy, you're a better man than me, thanks Michael.

      I haven't found a solution yet; I will look into it and post it. But I did notice an option which mention theme? I think this is the solution, not sure but i will update soon.

    Great story Michael. I'm a new follower.
    I have a non coding question. I like your feedback on documenting your journey. My daughter watches a lot of RUclips like Preston Playz and other mindscraft channels. So I waa wondering for your content on how you have the project on part of the video and you commenting simultaneously in another part. How does that work? Thanks!

    Hey man just subscribed. Love the content. I’ve been working on learning to code for a month and trying to finish the foundation course. Did you have problems initially with the Rock, paper, scissors game? Struggling to get past that final project to move on to the JavaScript course.

      YES lol, I struggled with like everything at the beginning, just keep at it!

      I think it was like 2 or 3 months for the javascript portion? It's been a while so im not 100% sure

    I want to get into frontend. I’m almost finished with TheOdinProject fundamentals. Would their JavaScript course still be helpful? Or is it better suited for fullstack?

    Very well put. Can I know how much time you put in to learn this much like daily how many hours you practiced and gave on tutorials , and for how long did you continue to learn from theodinproject

    • @MichaelWhiteDev
      @MichaelWhiteDev  3 года назад +3

      I spent at least 30 hours a week learning and building projects. 4 hours a day on weekdays and 10 hours on the weekends. I'm still technically working through the odin project, I'm currently on the node course. I did take time to build side projects though.

      @@MichaelWhiteDev wow great ❤️, I myself have to manage time since I work in a bank job, I badly want to switch my job from a banker to a full stack Web Developer. Web Development is what I realised I want to do through out my life.

      I know the feeling, just keep at it and don't be afraid to google and use references outside of TOP! No such thing as cheating when it comes to building projects lol
