I really love all your beautiful flower beds!! Your mums are so big and colorful too!!!❤😊
Thank you so much 😊
Do your mums come back yearly?? I watch your channel because you are in my zone, I’m in Indiana up north. My mums never come back, do you do anything special?? Your garden is absolutely gorgeous . I truly enjoy your knowledge, I’m retired and have returned to flower gardening. Keep up the amazing work.
Yes they do. I just plan them early fall so they have time to establish roots. 🥰
Just beautiful. The “Way Back”
💚🌿💚🌿💚
Absolutely love the Neon Sedum paired with the hydrangeas
Your garden is a study in planting for all the seasons. 👍🌷🪻🌼🌸🌻🍁🍂🌲
So nice of you, thank you. 🤗
The foxglove is a biennial- so most will bloom the second year you plant them. It takes patience but they are so pretty- I haven’t seen peach ones like yours, definitely worth the wait. I have a large patch of them and once they get established- one set is always blooming while others are setting the plants. Your gardens all look so lovely- you can see the joy you feel in gardening come through. Thank you!
The dalmatian peach foxglove is one I bought because it specifically is supposed to bloom the first year. Only one so far though. 😉
I like how the hydrangeas look too. The “stairway to heaven” are nice.
The color of the foliage this time of year is amazing. 🤩
I love watching your garden tours. I find them really relaxing and I find your commentary 'perfect!' You seem to always answer my questions when your'e commenting. I also love the fact that you stop to admire fleeting vignettes. I think this helps the rest of us to see that we need to go out and just look and enjoy our gardens, however big or small. Greetings from Bromley, UK.
Thank you, Jacqui! 🤗
i ejoy watching your gardens so much.
This is beautiful and beautifully maintained. How you have time for a full- time job is amazing as well. Blessings. Thank you for sharing. Nice job filming and informing.
Thank you so much!! 🤗
Thank you for the tour; I enjoyed every minute of it! So many beautiful plants!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🤗
Everything looks fantastic!… still. This time of year things can be hit and miss. I pruned off my dried hydrangea flowers. They were looking too dry. I would tie the two junipers that you have. They will eventually grow together! 🌲🌿🌲💚
Front yard garden bed clean up. Really makes all the beds pop. Very nice.
Definitely! 🤗
Everything looks great in your garden. I must admit I have much more turning brown in my garden, but much of that is due to me transplanting things during the heat wave.
Hopefully their roots are just fine under the soil and next year they will be glorious! 😉
She's taming the way back❤
Love it! 🤩
Your garden still has so much color for this time of year ❤🧡💛💚💙
I enjoy geraniums in the house over winter. Very cheery in the depths of winter here in Michigan.
I agree, I enjoyed it the last time I did it too! 😃
Tying in the branches of tall narrow evergreens is a common practice. Might be worth a try to see if they stiffen up.
Thanks for sharing! 🥰
I subscribe to alot of garden RUclips channels, but your gardens by far are the best in my humble opinion ❤
You give be some great ideas for mine
Most appreciated, Mel. That is a generous compliment, thank you! 🥰
Thank you Soleil. Very beautiful and relaxing.
I love your garden and the way it evolves over time. So beautiful and especially gorgeous when the sun hits it during the, “golden hour.” Best time of the day for pictures. 🥰. Great video as always! Thank you.
Thank you so much, Peggy! 🤗
Your grass is BEAUTIFUL!
Thank you Sunshine, your garden is looking very lovely. 🍁🍂🍁💚🙃
Love how the sun makes the garden glow. Beautiful!
Absolutely stunning gardens! SO impressive that you work full time and keep your gardens so beautiful! Kudos to you! 😊
So nice of you, thank you Becky! 🥰
Your tours are a real treat and delight!!
I look forward to seeing what you are doing in the garden. Love your garden. It is so beautiful. I just planted a seven sons tree this spring. Can’t wait till it gets to be more tree like. Take care.☺️
That is awesome! Thank you, Linda. 🤗
Beautiful garden❤️
Thanks for visiting the garden! 🥰
Thank you for the tour👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽❤️ you’ve given me so many ideas👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Where do you get your stones?
I'm so glad! I get them off Facebook marketplace and from neighbors getting rid of them or farmers on the side of the road selling. 🤗
I have mums(containers) but I thought they were annuals & I’ve thrown them out when frost hits
Are they perennials for me? Toronto, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
Your garden is always looking really good😊
They may or may not be, there are annual and Perennial varieties so check with your garden center for Perennial varieties. 🥰
Beautiful! What kind of pink sedum is next to the pugster blue at 15:40?
That's just regular old autumn joy sedum! 🙃
Beautiful garden tour! How do you keep your vanilla strawberry hydrangea so upright? Mine is the worst flopping hydrangea in my garden. It looked like you maybe had it a little tied up? Have you done a video on that?
I don't think I did a video on it because it was done it a hurry after a heavy rain. I used the stretchy plastic tie to offset the branches drooping. 🙃
I’m starting to edge my garden with rocks but with smaller rocks. Where do you get your large boulders ? Yours really look so neat.
Facebook marketplace mainly, but farmers and neighbors getting rid of them for cheap! 🥰
Do you cut your mums back before the 4th of July? They look so tall. Love your gardens 💐
Yes I did, but I believe the late rains in August and cooler weather lead them to get larger than normal after that. 😜
Did your oakleaf hydrangea turn pink before brown?
Mine never turned the pretty deep pink. It went
from light pink to brown. Is this normal? I love your
garden!
Yes, jet stream are just a light pink. There are different varieties that turn different shades. 🥰
Beautiful 😍😍
Are those Bobo Hydrangeas is the front “pink” grouping with the coneflower and sedum? They are stunning! 💗
Yes they are! 🥰
Your way back garden is becoming so pretty with the plants and the pathway, it is a shame you have the chain link fence separating it from the garden. Visually, the area is excluded because of the fence. The fence says “stop here”. I think you should remove the fence from its present location and move it further back down the hill so that the way back area can visually become part of the garden.
Open the 🦌 buffet😂
Yeah, I just can't because the deer would jump over it then. I am so lucky right now they stay on the other side due to the fence being at the top of the hill. 🤗
Beautiful garden👏👏👏🌿🌺🪴🌹
💚💚BEAUTIFUL ‼️💚💚
Thank you! Cheers!🙃
Tie up the limbs in the new garden 😊
Soleil I'm curious..how many hydrangeas do you have? 💜
A lot! 😄 I am actually not sure at this point. ...😜
Do you think Limelight or Limelight Prime will do OK with 4 hours of sun? Ran out of sunny locations for my addiction to hydrangeas.
I can relate. They probably will not do as well. Their blooms will be smaller and stems weaker. You can always try and move them later. Pots are also an option as they overwinter well through zone 5. 😀
@@Suburbanoasis i am zone 6. how thick of wall on pot do you think will overwinter a hydrangea? thanks for sharing.
@anncoats4466 you should be fine if it is hardy to zone 4 regardless of the width of the wall. 🤩
@@Suburbanoasis thanks
Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden with us! What is the name of the sedum at 15:34?
That is simply good old autumn joy sedum. 🙃
Can Lungwort be divided and moved now? I'm Zone 5b.
Absolutely, perfect time to do it! 🥰
What kind of fence is your neighbor building across the street?
It's just a standard wood privacy fence as they are putting in a pool. 🙃
What is the name of hosta at minute 6:50, beautiful.
I believe that one is called Great Expectations. 🙃
Thanks, you have a beautiful garden.@@Suburbanoasis
