Bro! I’m so proud of you, like speechless man! You continue to amaze us with your craftsmanship. Congratulations on it fitting, I know I’m not alone when I say I’m getting pretty excited for the finished product!
Well.... you just earned a new subscriber! I am VERY interested in seeing this outcome! I have my swapped 2zzge Spyder too and am looking for a less expensive route to power intesd of going turbo. Plus... i love the whining noises!!!
Thanks Harry! Crazy how just a few years ago we were learning to stick weld together with John making us feel like we had absolutely no clue what we were doing (we didn't)
Right now I am planning on putting one O2 bung roughly about 6 inches after the merge collector. Currently it is mounted in one of the runners of the header, which really would only tell you if something was wrong with that cylinder. Downstream sensor will get deleted most likely since I won't be running a cat
I'm really liking how this is coming together with your outside the box approach. With the limited space between the charger and the rear subframe, if you're not already running front and rear transmission mount inserts then that might be a nice cheap way to hopefully prevent any contact under hard acceleration. I got mine from monkeywrench. This is a great build, keep it up 💪
Not a bad idea at all.. I think I have plenty of clearance between the superchager and subframe, but it is definitely something I should keep an eye on. Solid mounts would be nice anyways just to transfer the power better. Appreciate the comment and the kind words!!
@@gastancehouse Don't go solid mounts, the urethane inserts work great to reduce excessive movement without too much vibration being transferred through the body. You do get a bit of reverberation through the cabin at idle but it's easy to live with if it's not your daily, the extra response is great!
From the research I have done, it seems like the stock 2zz internals will handle about 300 hp at the crank.. Not sure if I will shoot for that right away, but that may be a goal for the future! thanks for the comment!
I definitely would love to build a few more supercharger kits after I prove out my first one. I also had so much fun with the header that I definitely would be open to building a few more. Appreciate the feedback!!
@@gastancehouse that's awesome! I'm not in the platform, but been following because I think they are really interesting cars for the money. Making me want to get one lol.
Awesome bro🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate that!!!!
watched more header builds than you can shake a stick at but really this one stand outs. humble talented cat builds great exhaust header.
Wow that is so kind, I really appreciate it :)

Thank you so much Brayden!! Your comments are always so encouraging, and as always thank you for following along!
Very nice !!! Videos deserve more views 😮
Thank you for the kind words! :)
amazing progress
Thanks!!! Appreciate you following along :)
Man that’s awesome. Do you think we’d be able to adapt this to a 1zz??
Appreciate that!! Header may need a slight redesign due to the port locations on the 1zz head, but the same concept could definitely be used!
@@gastancehouse make it happen! Please! I’d love to 1zz s/c my mr2. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help with development for 1zz platform

Much appreciated!!! Hopefully mine can be a success and an inspiration for your build!
amazing video but what stainless steel tube type did you use ?
also where did you purchase them?
very cool 🤌🏼
Nice welds!

Just curious, where will you be mounting the O2 sensors? Or they'll be deleted?

What hp you tink that set up would make ?

I feel like there could be a market here for you if this wasn't too much of a pain to build lol
