On that 10 second speed run, I noticed one thing that may be the root of your loses. The second coin when the timer hits 4, you've been doing a twirl to insure you grab the second coin. However, I believe the timer needs you to grab the second coin without twirling otherwise you lose that little bit of time to touch the pole.

Incredible. I honesty wouldn't have the patience to do the same levels over and over again without SOMEthing different and interesting going on. I mean, through the magic of editing, all of the viewers get to skip the DRUDGERY, lol.

Only optimization left for that 10 sec. level is wall jumping on the last wall before the door. It's hard because it's 1 tile high, but the only time save that you need.

I find it funny when a stage name says "impossible", it's usually pretty easy and Ryu cleared it first try or in couple tries
But when the stage name is "hard" / "very hard", it's usually those ridiculous stages that'd drain life like crazy.
It was a pretty disgusting level but also very entertaining to watch lol
"easy" is like ridiculous but not in a skill required way but in a annoying way

I am a bit worried for Ryu. He knows that the servers will shutdown in a few months and Mario Maker will be dead and deleted. This is gonna be very traumatizing for many people. All that hot garbge directly into the fires of Bowser.

Only episodr 200? I feel like there have been way more since you often release multiple in a week, even if there have been times when you didn't release any for a while. Though the no-skip definition is kinda shaky with the hail Mary mechanic at play.
The Kaizo blocks on the shell level aren't random, they're placed at the start, end, and at the shorter distance jumps. Still awful but there is a pattern.
Dang in my imo you showed wayyyyyy too many death attempts for the jump level….. I feel like I saw every single fail.
Ohhh okay now the writing down from previous episode makes sense. You inverted the upload order ryu!
And the mystery of the post note in the previous episode was revealed (although it wasn't because the order was switched 😂)

@@TrevorD19 no it wasn’t from episode 56. It was ghost house level that had 12 midair’s going left. Ryu had to skip it and he had never beat it since.

Those invisible blocks aren't random - each is placed at short jumps, probably to force high jumps and momentum loss then recovery (basically when you see koopa before jumping, there's a hidden block).
Overall a fun video. Risking life to save Yoshi proabaly gave you some good karma points, probably.

That koopa jumping level was absurd especially with the invisible blocks and that tight timer ⏱️ speedrun is extreme stress but I know you can beat it.

In the last level, i think he must do a Strong falling and then cancel it, in order to get the 2 red coins aligned in the same line of the wall. I'm not sure if i explained it properly

I'm not positive, but I think all you're missing on the final level is to wall jump out of the final door. The creator put a one-way underneath so the wall jump is completely horizontal to the pole.

The shell junps level, I think it was the long jumps were kaizo safe, but the short jumps were all rigged for failure.

I just got out my Wii U for the first time in years to play MM1. I was able to load up right away after a system update. Not sure why you have problems
