No sir, you are completely incorrect. Visible was not taken over by Verizon. Verizon already created them right from scratch from the ground up in year of 2018. Verizon only bought out the old Total Wireless owner Tracfone Inc to become the new owner/creater/launcher of Total Wireless which that acquisition didn't complete until November 23, 2021. Total Wireless was officially owned/created by Verizon as of yesterday. What needs to happen is Visible needs to be folded into Total Wireless.
Your right about visible being owned by Verizon since 2018 it was on the downlow. However I don't do not they total Wireless and visible should become one. We need more options not less. That's my opinion anyway. Verizon is just rebranding it's entities so consumers don't get confused between services and it offers a more clean and clear understanding of it all.

As for the Visible brand it's self, many people (myself included) don't see it surviving for the long haul. Visible needs to be folded into the Total branding. There is more than enough options in prepaid as it is. Verizon will be just fine, just keep Straight + Simple Mobile + Safelink as the only digital carriers while letting Total remain as the #1 prepaid carrier of Verizon.
I have a question can I still activate a starter kit from target store that says Total by Verizon? I just bought a starter kit that still says that is it okay or will I have problems activating that sim card with my phone?
I'm not really sure to be honest but I'm guessing the name change shouldn't interfere with the sim from being activated as it is still the same company and the sim number should be in the system... All you can do is try lol
Total Wireless has a better value+ it is in fact Verizon's main prepaid carrier versus Visible/Straight which are geared towards super young people that want to go 100% digital. #GoTotal
I'll say I enjoy visible and straight talk is not bad. I'm really glad to see total stepping up their game. I think this is a smart move, hopefully Visible will beef up their plans some more as well.
