I'm totally blown away by how brilliant this band is, only discovered them recently and will be seeing them in London in December for the first time, Can't wait :-)
I am blown away too - have known about IQ for years but never bought their CD's, more fool me. These guys are true musicians and I am delighted to say that I have just recently collected their full discography - sheer PROG magic.
I am happily buying the back catalog of this wonderful band. I enjoy watching these video clips but wish to pay for my pleasure!! I just got the Seventh House CD. There is a sense of grandeur and strength in all their songs! Like Rush and Genesis back in the good old days!! Thank-you, IQ!!
Through random streaming music I was introduced to this band, and was immediately hooked. I watched a few live recorded videos, and first thought sounded like older Genesis with Peter Gaberial and maybe looked like a little older Bowe (Ziggy era). Really enjoy their sound and style, great band!!
I can't believe I just got to know about this Band recently! I am quickly catching up with their back-catalogue of CD's n DVD's - Ever is Brilliant, Forever Live and The Wake Live are both fantastic, Subteranea unbelievable - got to buy the Seventh House now ...
Here I am back four years later, I have listened to a lot of music in that time - mainly Classical as it happens, but I can still come back to material like this and certainly regard songs songs such as this as being exceptional !
APRIL 1, 1983, I started following IQ, Marillion, Pendragon, Pallas, Solstice, Dagaband, Twelfth Night, and awhile later- Galahad, Quasar, ENID...It was after reading a March, 1983 Kerrang magazine ( UK ), comparing old and new PROG. I like all of the Prog, or MOST, I should say! IQ for 40 years now! 4:52
My favorite song by my favorite band. I'm thinking seeing the guys in the front row just casually rocking out...if that was me I'd be crying like a baby.
If I cried with music...this would be the one. The only time I have is when watching something an artist I loved died and I'm missing them. I might have cried with Gladiator theme. Not sure. I don't remember. LOL
OK, only started listening and watching this lot in 2020....Flipping heck, absolutely awesome music akin to Genesis, Yes and Marillion in my view.... Needless to say, my cd collection is bumping up a bit.... Phenomenal bass tone......
2 Friends, afraid to meet again after all they went through. 2 families that wanted to see it happen, to burry the past. One afraid of wakening his demons, the other afraid to love again. They met again, where they first met, over 60 Years later. In the Seventh House, just a small church.. Both seen battle. Their children and grandchildren accompanied them.. Both 2 the only ones to survive the battle..not just the past. And the Death accompanied them, being part.. War never changes....
A far too underrated band ! What a nice epic trip through a wood of several moods, what a superb collective effort by all band members. The different instrumental imputs blend nicely together to form something that is far better than the sum of the individual contributions. A little bit more hocus pocus on the stage though would have been OK, like some projections or other special effects. Not too much, not to distract the attention of the core business, just a little bit extra though...
Reminiscent of Genesis' early music - this band should have millions of views. The album is simply incredible.
Probably my favoirite album alongside Mew - And The Glass Handed Kites, though that one took Psilocybyn.
I love this group, 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
These guys are brilliant! They have sooooo many great songs it's hard to pick my favorite but this one is definitely one of them!
Probably one of the best progressive songs I never heard!!!

Einer der geilsten Bands die guten alten Sound produzieren. Großartige Künstler.
One of the best IQ´s song.
OMG, that's a freaking masterpiece
Never heard of them till now, but wow, what a great band and great music. So reminiscent of Genesis and Marillion.👍
I wish IQ would tour the US.

I long to see this band in a big beautiful concert hall like Afas Live, Amsterdam. They deserve it.
My favorite song by my favorite band. I'm thinking seeing the guys in the front row just casually rocking out...if that was me I'd be crying like a baby.

CONHECI ESSA BANDA EM 2005, DESDE ENTÃO; PAIXÃO
Amazing
only 58k views is a bloody disgrace
Qué magnífico
Sure I heard a bit of Genesis' Down And Out in the keyboard solo
Peter is so damn goooood

Musikalisch hervorragendes Niveau, ähnlich wie Genesis, Yes, Pink Floyd, Marilyn, Camel und Transatlantic und auch ähnlich lange Titel!

Love theme so won’t see them again I hope they come to Ireland x
Sedap kali ah, I love it
Looking for IQ to tour the US but sadly not in 2024. The band is the epitome of ProgRock. Like Camel this band is underrated.
The best neo progressive rock band ever! 😉👍
Give 'Southern Empire' a listen.
Please please come to essex
Che dire di questa band, se non che è fantastica...
Qué buenos son los jodíos...

I don't like being alone this sounds sexy though
Its same Genesis. Look the faces Nichols.
Much preferred them with Paul Menel & Tim Esau
Tim Esau has been back in the band for about 10 years now.

Yeah, I know. I met him when he was bass player with Prognosys, a position I was invited to audition for
IQ has been consistent through the years that’s why they’re so good
