one of the sweetest, kindest celebrity i ever met. i met her at a cooking demo. she saw me at a play she was starring in and remembered me. we took a picture and spoke briefly because she wasnt feeling well. she was suffering from a bad cold. but yet still took the time to meet and take a picture. thank you miss. Eden you are a truly wonderful person.
I grew up in the 60s and LOVED this show and Barbara Eden. She is so positive and beautiful and genuine! I will be doing 'the BLINK' until I die, LOL....THANK YOU Barbara for bringing so much joy and inspiration to many!
I worked with her decades ago, playing Liesl to her Maria in “the Sound of Music”. She was AMAZING, beautiful, talented, kind, just an all around wonderful human being. My husband, the late, great David Canary who was a five time Emmy winner happened to appear with Barbara in some event or other. Even though it had been years since I had worked with her, she’s remembered me and spoke kindly of me. I hope she reads these posts so she knows what an impact she had on a novice actress. With love and respect, Maureen Maloney Canary
Dearest Barbara. Thank you for being such a great inspiration and role model. My heart breaks for you for your losses but I honour you and you are my heroine! I’m 67 and I will never look as good as you do now!! But I’m inspired by you to keep trying and going! I always said if you stop moving you turn to stone! Lol.With Much Love and Admiration from Melanie Brown Oklahoma.
I was a boy I remember how beautiful back then but now I know many woman wish they look as well as does at 91 when they where at 50. I would live to hear of speak of how she does it
I loved I dream of Jeannie as a 7 year old child. I thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. My mother made me a costume for Halloween that I adored. I wore it as pajamas. My husband Lee enjoyed the show too. So, I bought him the complete series on DVD about 10 years ago. We watched it many times. He passed away last December 6 2023 in the passenger seat of my car. He needed a heart and kidney transplant. But, As much as I miss him, I have a lot of great memories with him. I still love Jeannie.
20 years ago when my daughter was four year-old we were staying at the Cypress Inn hotel in Carmel and had the greatest pleasure of meeting Barbara Eden in the lounge, while her husband was having an interview. Amazing Beauty
Barbara Eden at 92 years old is still Very Beautiful
She has magnificent genetics. No wonder she’s still alive and good looking for her age.
She'll be 93 tomorrow (born 8/23/1931).
