Yeah as a dolphins fan I am mixed. I'm happy we got to where we are but at the sametime those hypotheticals are going to haunt us... "What if tua never got hurt" "What if the ball was spot a yard short" "What if Skyler didnt throw that last pic" "What if we managed the clock better" It was a great run but next year I hope they can fix the problems that plauged them all this year. If they can do that I don't see any reason why they can't get to the Superbowl

I will say, considering we didn't have Tua, I'm satisfied with the performance here. Sure Skylar didn't play great, but we kept it close despite people expecting us to get blown out.
That's the problem, people like you are satisfied with backing into the playoffs and being knocked out in the 1st round. They had every opportunity to win that game. They burned all their time outs, it's 4th and 1 and very close to field goal range to at least tie the game, if not, Win with a TD and they all stand in the huddle for 15 seconds with absolutely no idea about this thing called the play clock. The team is stacked with losers from the Top down.
What an incredible game to watch. I've been pulling for both dolphins and the bills this year, so it sucked to see the dolphins getting knocked out. I can't wait to see what's in store next year for the dolphins. Once everyone is healthy, they have the weapons for a deep playoff run next year. And good luck to the bills, looking great so far.

The fact Miami stayed in this game with a 3rd string is insane shows you the Dolphins have a bright future and contend with any QB at the helm excited to see what they do this upcoming season with a healthy Tua and newly acquired Cam Smith, Achane, and Jalen Ramsey
We got the speed with our wide receivers and running backs as well as the defense with our new defensive coordinator who has tons of experience. The offensive line just got Isaiah Wynn on Right Tackle, our quarterback's blind spot, so there's improvement on the offense. We just need our quarterback to not bang his head to the ground so I'm hoping the jiu jitsu is helping him as well as that new helmet the NFL introduced.
As a dolphins fan, this loss isn’t heartbreaking since I had no expectations of winning. If anything, this makes me look forward to hopefully a very competitive season next year
I kept hearing the 13.5point spread and I was arguing about it so much. The Dolphins have so many weapons and they're pretty much just getting started. As a Bills fan, it has me worried, but I'm already looking forward to next season. I don't have a clue what's going to happen with the QB spot, though. The 3rd string QB went into a high stress playoff game against a SB contender and did well so it's something to think about.

The Dolphins wasting 2 timeouts to avoid delay of game penalties and then not breaking their huddle on a do or die 4th and 1 until there were 4 seconds on the play clock is absolutely mind blowing. Especially the 4th down play that would lead to a possesion late in the forth deep in Miami territory. instead they were allowed to punt it away the next play. Both regulation games against Phins were so close, every inch. Both games could've gone either way for any team. We HAD to prove that we could win a grudge match against such a fierce rival. Now we have to prove that we can beat not only the team that's last year's Conference champs, the team who's neck in neck with us but we also have to defeat the City of Cincinnati itself and close the pain and rejoicing chapter.

By whom? Knox dropped an easy TD, that’s 21-0. Shakir drops 55 yard bomb which undoubtedly leads to a TD, 28-0. Beasley drops a ball in his chest which lands in Miamis hands blah blah blah. This game was never close in reality and the only reason it looked like it was close is because of the things I mentioned which had nothing to do with Miami.

But it should've been a td if it wasn't underthrown..there was another deep pass that was also underthrown and knocked out by the defender last second.. There were a handful of dropped passes, but really only one from waddle.. It was a big one though.
Their secondary is an issue. They got lucky that Miami WR's dropped good passes and that Thompson didn't see a couple of open guys. Mahomes Burrow aren't going to do that.

It's going to be a totally different game next week. I wouldn't compare this game to next week VS the Bengals or use it as a way to know what plays will be made. Different defense set up, different ways to move the ball down the field vs their defense, ect.

As a bills fan, I can't handle these games that come down to the wire and buffalo had a lot of them this year. It's a tough road to the Superbowl. We got this!
That's an expensive order to make from the bookies, but they pay big for them pro's to make those peewee league mistakes. People still buy it tho, that's what keeps the NFL going.
There was a lot of mistakes and bonehead plays and on the part of the coaches as well. McDerrmit called time out twice on plays that the Bills made great plays on, especially the one on 4th down that would have handed them the ball on the Miami 40 with four minutes left. Course Allen would have thrown the ball deep three times and taken 10 seconds off the clock before punting like he did in another late drive
for me this is the only way to enjoy football game 17 minutes of good action no commercials. Buffalo seems like such a great playoff atmosphere it's really great to see meaningful Buffalo bills games again, this late in the year. I also thought Josh Allen seemed off his game a bit, perhaps a few corrective adjustments will get him back on track next week. Go 49ers!!!
It depends. If you're a fan of the team or just have a large interest in the game, it's better to watch the game (ideally that being starting from behind enough to be able to skip commercials and halftime. I won't go as far as to skip between plays). I'll admit that the huge majority of games I just watch these highlights because it's not feasible to be able to watch all the games. It is now though because it's the playoffs AND they're all good games. But yeah it's definitely not as good just watching highlights. Not only are there plenty of important plays that are skipped, the suspense is largely diminished because they have predictability and there being no time between plays excises the moments of suspense leading up to the play. So it depends. If you've got no attention span, which in the tik tok era is much more prevalent, then I could understand that. But for someone that has an attention span, there's no doubt that watching a close playoff game in its entirety is a far better experience. But that's just my 33 year old white male opinion.

I will say, considering we didn't have Tua, I'm satisfied with the performance here. Sure Skylar didn't play great, but we kept it close despite people expecting us to get blown out.

What an incredible game to watch. I've been pulling for both dolphins and the bills this year, so it sucked to see the dolphins getting knocked out. The fact Miami stayed in this game with a 3rd string is insane shows you the Dolphins have a bright future and contend with any QB at the helm excited to see what they do this upcoming season with a healthy Tua and newly acquired Cam Smith, Achane, and Jalen Ramsey
We got the speed with our wide receivers and running backs as well as the defense with our new defensive coordinator who has tons of experience. The offensive line just got Isaiah Wynn on Right Tackle, our quarterback's blind spot, so there's improvement on the offense. We just need our quarterback to not bang his head to the ground so I'm hoping the jiu jitsu is helping him as well as that new helmet the NFL introduced.

I kept hearing the 13.5point spread and I was arguing about it so much. The Dolphins have so many weapons and they're pretty much just getting started. As a Bills fan, it has me worried, but I'm already looking forward to next season. I don't have a clue what's going to happen with the QB spot, though. The 3rd string QB went into a high stress playoff game against a SB contender and did well so it's something to think about.

Especially the 4th down play that would lead to a possesion late in the forth deep in Miami territory. instead they were allowed to punt it away the next play. This was the most formidable Dolphins team I have seen in the playoffs in decades.

It's going to be a totally different game next week. I wouldn't compare this game to next week VS the Bengals or use it as a way to know what plays will be made. Different defense set up, different ways to move the ball down the field vs their defense, ect.

I believe this and that stupid play call to throw a bomb on 3rd and 19 is what lost us the game. Regardless, we did A LOT better than I thought we were going to. I'd like to think that had all our starters been healthy, we would have won this one by at least 2 scores.
What a job by the dolphins defense, 7 sacks, 3 turnovers and a fumble return for a touchdown. Wish we could've ran the ball better and not have so many dropped passes. Good hard fought game tho
Bills had dropped passes as two lucky turnovers cause Brown left his route mid throw and they would have called the hold on the Fins on Beasley's INT. Lucky lucky

That's an expensive order to make from the bookies, but they pay big for them pro's to make those peewee league mistakes. People still buy it tho, that's what keeps the NFL going.
This game is a good example of the fact that close, high-scoring games doesn’t equal quality football.
There was a lot of mistakes and bonehead plays and on the part of the coaches as well. McDerrmit called time out twice on plays that the Bills made great plays on, especially the one on 4th down that would have handed them the ball on the Miami 40 with four minutes left.
Course Allen would have thrown the ball deep three times and taken 10 seconds off the clock before punting like he did in another late drive
Every league has followed baseball after the chase for 72 home runs. More people started watching so they all changed the rules for offense.

This was another great wild card game I hope the rest of the games are the same it was close because they are division opponents
for me this is the only way to enjoy football game 17 minutes of good action no commercials.
Buffalo seems like such a great playoff atmosphere it's really great to see meaningful Buffalo bills games again, this late in the year. I also thought Josh Allen seemed off his game a bit, perhaps a few corrective adjustments will get him back on track next week. Go 49ers!!!

It depends. If you're a fan of the team or just have a large interest in the game, it's better to watch the game (ideally that being starting from behind enough to be able to skip commercials and halftime. I won't go as far as to skip between plays). I'll admit that the huge majority of games I just watch these highlights because it's not feasible to be able to watch all the games. It is now though because it's the playoffs AND they're all good games. But yeah it's definitely not as good just watching highlights. Not only are there plenty of important plays that are skipped, the suspense is largely diminished because they have predictability and there being no time between plays excises the moments of suspense leading up to the play.
So it depends. If you've got no attention span, which in the tik tok era is much more prevalent, then I could understand that. But for someone that has an attention span, there's no doubt that watching a close playoff game in its entirety is a far better experience. But that's just my 33 year old white male opinion.

I agree this league is so fixed lately. Buffalo should have been the 3rd seed. Cincy was going to win that game 2 weeks ago. Bills have always gotten all the breaks.
@Mary Shelmire A lot of it has to do with the injury two weeks ago. The league wants the Bills to win, it's a feel good story
Never thought I would say the AFC East is loaded but if Jets find a decent quarterback and Bill finds a decent OC that's exactly the case for next season
