- It's time to return to Germany and fulfill a dream that we failed last time we were Prussia.
The time has come to turn Germany into a SUPERPOWER that will do a Germany world conquest!
Well not really, but it's basically what an average German would do after 2 drinks.
All I'm gonna say is that Bismarck would be proud after he sees what we did with Germany in this history game.

@@ardvarkvv2718 Austria isnt even yellow... forming germany as austria still renames to you to just germany, with the normal german flag.. i mean i have formed germany as austria 2 times now, its not THAT hard to do it, especially with the silk.

I feel like since the most recent patch radicals have become impossible to control, it gets to this annoying point where even when Ur building and importing goods that you need for them and it goes down suddenly it goes right back up it's just this endless overwhelming demand and it kills games

I have been playing Victoria 3 for the past couple of days now. I got to say, it is a very fun and interesting game with many possibilities for the modding community.

The game was so sad man! Next time stock up a bit on storage but it was so sad to see since this game was so slick!
What he did in the 60's with Germany the battle against Austria you can easily do in the 40's already, cause you have waaaaay better infantry right from the start, unites germany way faster if the Austrians are out of the Game already

It seems like Tommy is still trying to prioritize SoL via goods, which if you understand the impact of peasants on SoL makes it insanely clear that this is bad strategy. Victoria 3 is a very complicated game, so no shame, and the UI is in outrageously bad shape, but Tommy obviously still needs to learn more about the way to structure growth. Construction points and the money to keep it going are *the* thing you need to best grow basically all metrics. Canneries let you *checks notes* spend iron on consumer goods? Instead of building and steel?
@@wepg yea I agree canneries are definitely not the meta, they arent great for the economy until later in the game and are way less impactful for growth than other researchs that can actually have a high impact on your economy (fertilizer for example), but mostly I just thought it was funny he said its the meta then said hes never really done it before hahaha
@@Azaqa Canneries tech has a huge impact on technology solely because it leads to the tech that gives you +10 scale of industry, forgot what it's called, and the tech also unlocks a huge amount of production methods for insanely good manufactories.
@@ds2sofs early game the scale of economy cap doesnt matter much though you wont be able to build that tall early
@@Azaqa You're absolutely insane or extremely inefficient if you think two extra production methods for most crucial and profitable industries don't matter, scale of industry and throughput is king. Start centralizing your industry you'll thank me later.

Something that's really hard to remember is, when pops consume items, almost always there is a replacement for that item. A good example is wine, which is consumed as an intoxicant and a luxury beverage (I'm going off memory here, can't remember what the categories are really called). You can instead produce coffee as a beverage, and tobacco as an intoxicant, and your pops won't be upset by not meeting their demands. You can actually watch the pop demand for a good drop if you import something else from its' category. VERY helpful for improving the SOL without using up your trade routes for items you can cover yourself.

You got revolutions because you still had national supremacy, you gotta get multiculturalism as fast as you can, discrimination adds way too many radicals, also you have to incorporate the states for the achievement, which takes 21 years per state
