I have no idea and neither do you probably because since the release of No Step Back, we are all still finding out what the new HOI4 meta is.

The achievements you will be witnessing in this one are This Is Gonna Be Lit Achievement and No More Partitions Achievement.
Basically take all your neighbouring countries as Lithuania and beat or have Russia and Germany in your faction as Poland.
The HOI4 100% Series is gonna get spicy as we are approaching the hardest achievements since the new HOI4 DLC has released.

I like to imagine some scorched earth with polish forces fighting Soviet units with the soviets pushing up with tanks and infantry and Poland just coming out with thousands of cavalry charging the infantry down making them run in terror
there is a story of that in Poland but it's just a legend
The poles tried doing that against German tanks. They were cut down in seconds

Technically it was Italian incompetence, as it was Italian news reporters that wrote the story after the battle happened, where the piles charged an infantry unit and beat them then retreated when a mechanized unit showed up. By the time the Italian reporters got there, the tanks showed up so they just assumed that the poles charged tanks

Add heavy flamethrower tank support battalions to this cav, it only requires 15 heavy tanks per division and will make them unpierceable by almost anything, I won war against both Germany and USSR as Poland this way.

@@TommyKay I checked and you can set countries to follow historical paths in non historical while keeping achievements available. If for an achievement run you want a country to go historical you can do it.
Unfortunately, if you force a country to go through a non historical path achievements will be disabled, but it might still be a useful trick

One thing I don't understand about the AI. It will send divisions to aid other allied AI, but if the player is struggling to hold his/her lines the AI will never send I single division to help. It will watch you die untill the enemy reaches their or other allied AI territories.
In earlier version, a huge AI problem was that AI was spamming infantry reinforcements on player frontlines that were already holding well enough, which prevented tank pushes because AI infantry was eating up all the supply. So PDX greatly reduced the priority on the AI supporting a player nation that has a meaningfully large army compared to their own. An AI will never put troops on the border of a country that has a bigger army than its own, not even another AI. And there are a bunch of weights that drastically reduce the priority of your frontlines in the eyes of AI allies, depending on how big your total army size is compared to their own (can't recall if it checks ratio of battalion count or ratio of fielded manpower). This priority weighting happens before the AI checks for any enemy presence. If you want AI majors to support your frontlines in a war, you basically need to have no army.

If you're going cavalry, 15 width with a light sph, and with as support AA, artillery, engineers, armored recon, and flame tanks, and giving all your armored vehicles dozer blades, with superior firepower doctrine is the way to go.
