Vic 3 looks like it has the potiential to be a good game when Paradox decides to finish the last 40% missing of the game by adding DLCs. The game really seems kinda rushed, lacking alot of detail and features. They did not even have time to make the borders properly accurate in 1836 even in Europe.. that to me really indicates that some things were neglected by Paradox to get the product finished.
@@williamladine7591 The economy isn't complete. Play the game. Examine the Market menu and Construction menu. The Construction is ripped from HOI4 but they took out Civ Factories. To get a better $ Balance, you need to build things. Building things costs money. You can build too many factories which will collapse your economy because you won't have enough worker pops. You can build too many "Civs" which will collapse your eco because every time you build something it will cost you way too much money to build. So you can be put into Bankruptcy by simply "playing" the game. And if you aren't building anything you aren't improving your country. The Market menu is partially ripped from EU4, partially ripped from Stellaris. There are unchangeable trade routes, trade isn't effected by navies, occupied territory, etc. There is practically no way to enter someone else's market other than becoming a subject of them. There is no "Global Market" like in Stellaris which lets you purchase goods for competitive prices. There are no stockpiles so if you are in need of a good immediately, the game will automatically buy them immediately. Surely you can see why this doesn't work? There are more ways to destroy your country than actually play the game. This is to distract you from the horrible war system that drains your cash even more when you are in it. The best possible move is not to go to war... in a war game... during the most bloody period in human history before WW2. Not to mention a horrible flaw: there are no "Cores", only regions of land that Countrys mark as "interested". This frankenstein mess of a game is seriously broken is too tedious and shallow in every way possible.

After playing this game the whole day as Prussia, can confirm the German Unification mechanics are super confusing. No matter your relations, any country that is a Minor Power won't join you, making it impossible to get the south German guys
You need the technology of nationalism for the minors in your customs union wanting to join you. Which i guess make sense, when theres no form of nationalism and a national german spirit why would they join
@@TheBusbyBabes that's not what i meant. i would get nationalism, improve relations, get customs unions, all the stuff possible, and they still wouldn't join. i even got Bavaria to like me, and they wouldn't join. I took Schleswig as a vassal from Denmark and they didn't join (tho Paradox might've made it so subjects can't join to stop the Danish ones from joining) The big issue is how vague it is. I know a lot of people don't like the very overly specific requirements for stuff in HOI4 or EU4, but honestly, I'd prefer that to the current state of Vic3 decisions and other mechanics like that
@@NickSmith-fe7lp unified germany yesterday, so heres the summarisation. in your cultures window theres the tab nations or so there i sgermany when you click on that you see the territories and you can make a diplomatic play for german leadership with austria, which will lead to a war, win this war, then make a unification war which you can do through the exact same window and then form germany in the same window again. idk if you can form germany without the unification war but you definitley need to be the german leader i guess

It feels like twitch chat doesn’t understand this game actually simulates a market. There’s a supply and demand for each product in your market if a lot of pops, countries, or industries are buying that product the price will go up mean the industries making it will make more money but the industries that use that product will lose money if it’s too expensive so it’s just a balancing game of making sure your industries can survive so your pops don’t become unemployed and become radicals
I hate when people yell that the war system sucks. Like I agree, but that isn't the focus of the game. HOI4 has a terrible economic system, but nobody cares as it more about warfare. If you like HOI4 and dislike CK3, this game isn't for you. If you liked HOI4 RP and enjoyed CK3, this might be for you.
But Victoria 2 did both, some may claim badly but still isn’t a merit for such downgrade, hell other aspects like economics and politics are not that much better than Vicky 2
