Thank you so much for making another review, I always enjoy your Stephen King reviews and I hope you keep making them more frequently but JESUS! This one sounds insane, this one sounds like some awful bastard child between 50 shades of grey and 127 hours Gawd...I don't think I'll be able to read this one for a long long time honestly. I wonder if the popularity of 50 is the reason why they're finally making it into a movie? I hope when it comes out on Netflix you'll give us your two cents cause I sure as hell ain't watching it. PS I'm still digging insomnia.
hey frosty have you read apt pupil? I couldn't finish it, found it more disturbing than kings other material I've read but would love to hear your thoughts if you've read it
I was afraid the movie would be a mess, but since I've learned they got Mike Flannagan (Absentia, Oculus, Hush, Ouija: Origin of Evil, all of them movies that I did love) to direct the apadtation, now I'm way more confident.
Gerald's Game is the one Stephen King's story .I have got to the finish the book ,But did buy it back in 92 ,I remember there is like thinking of the past .I will watch the movie and catch the last half of the story ,On Netflix when it comes out to watch .
SPOILER ALERT!!! The only thing that I didn't like about Gerald's Game was the ending. I think it could be better if the Space Cowboy (Death) would just be left as a mystery and be an inhumane thing rather than just a man who steals jewelry and bones from sematarys (the misspells was intended) and rape the male corpses. Also I don't understand how the Space Cowboy knew the names of the voices that Jesse heard inside her head, I don't think that such a disgusting man like that has even a little bit of The Shining to figure that out, it'll only make sense if Death was inhumane.
Whoever directed 1408 should direct the adaptation of this book. The style of the story is very similar, but the lead actress better be very good or it's going to suck big time. John Cusack did a great job in 1408.
ladynottingham89 I loved 1408 in the short story I believe he dies.I.would love to see a movie made from the short story everything's eventual it reminds me alot of odd thomas but that's one of my favorites
Gerald's Game was one of those books that I read, remember liking, but can hardy remember what happens in it. Granted, it has been like ten years since I read it.
When you were naming the pages I guessed the amount of pages right for the books. I have no idea how I did that.
Your reviews are great
Great review. Would love to hear your thoughts on the new IT trailer.

Nothing happens
You said you didn't want to spoil too much of the book and then went on to tell us how she got out of the handcuffs like a minute later
This book is pretty boring tbh
