From what I can tell and believe, what separates stick fight and sticknodes is that stick fight obviously uses stick figures but stick nodes uses Stick figures as a skeletal base to then animate on top of it whatever they want and essentially make something like Minecraft fight animation with the same fluidity and combat choreography as a stick fight animation.
It was extremely entertaining but in particular, looking at it from the perspective of making this video, it's amazing! Not only quite creative but also it's a mix of tons of skills and a lot of previous experience, for the fights, the different speeds in different actions, the visual details of all the blocks moving and shaking, the cart going down and up, the sword making the sparks...everything is extremely well detailed and made just perfectly! Congratulations, every time you make a new gem!

Honestly I could play Minecraft in this 2D setting like this. The animation is so good! The 3D 2D mixing is pure perfection and of course the Fabiano fight speciality. Especially that fake out against Herobrian near the end.
