Noto is found to the south-east of Sicily, to the east of Ragusa and south of Syracuse.
The town dates from the 18th century - there was a town that stood nearby previously but it was destroyed by the infamous earthquake of 1693 (the ruins of the original town can also be visited).
It became a famous gay destination by the Italians in the past years and it is now known by people all over the world with the TV series White Lotus that was also filmed in the town.
I hope you enjoy our first adventure in Italy.

I hope to travel to Sicily one day!
Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍😍👏
Sicily has everything plus it is not so expensive. You will love it.
@@yourgayguyde Thanks a lot for telling me, you are very nice! 👍😍🙏
( But, I am very poor still. 😪)
I’ve been to Noto many times, I even looked at buying a home there. It’s no more gay than anywhere else, I would not call it a gay destination at all, it has no gay venues. Catania, Taormina and Palermo are where to go for gay venues. Obviously there are gay men and gay action everywhere, but Noto is a cultural and historic centre. You missed the cafe opposite the cathedral that makes the best gelato in all Italy, according to some.
I went to the gelato and it was amazing. I think there is just a bit part of it in this video.
Im from Noto and the place is very gayfriendly. So there are some bars where especially the gays go. In Summertime is Noto the little Mykonos of Italy. There is also a gay beach and in the area are venues. Marzamemi is a gay club and there are also a lot of little events like transshow. Im totally agree with yourgayguide 🏳️🌈❤🥳🏳️🌈
@@mk825 I was lucky to be there in summer and I felt it very gay. Gays everywhere.
@@yourgayguyde Yes, thats like this 🏳️🌈 A lot of Milanesi spend there gay holiday, but there are also a lot of international gay tourists. The netini love the gays, because they have a lof culture and are very feiendly and solare 🥰🫶🏽
The TV series White Lotus helped a lot for gays to discover Sicily. I wanna do a video also in Torre del Lago.
Olá ! Very good guide of Noto and surroundind area. And as always, it's presented in a relaxed and cheerful way. If you'll allow me an idea for improvement: add maps to show the places you visit.
OF course. from my first video to my last you can see a lot of changes and they mainly happen from comments like yours.
xoxo
I love the happy ‘all is ok’ music. His Sicilian travel comp. is delicious 😋
Hehe. He is indeed.
I like your Chanel, & thanks for the great video & I will definitely subscribe bye from Australia xoxo
ownnn thanks patrick. hopefully I will be on that side of thew globe one day making videos.
I hope you come to Palermo while you are exploring Sicily. My husband and I bought a place here because we love it so much here! Hope to see you here! Ciao
That’s nice. Sicily is lovely and also cheap. I haven’t been to Palermo . Just passed by with the car. We went directly to trapani.
Gracias mi papi, me gustó ese vídeo. Un beso desde la Ciudad de Panamá. Luis

Thanks Len. 🌹
C'est molto interessante! Non lo so che questo esiste!! Please forgive my Italian, I am still learning the language. Ho studiato molto! Grazie molto per questa presentazione!! Ciao!
I don’t speak Italian so you can easily talk to me in English 👀👀😂😍🥰
Hello, I enjoyed your posting! I did not know these gay places existed in Sicily. All the best!!@@yourgayguyde
There are few gay beaches in Sicily. Close to Taormina there is another one. I added them all in the pop-up
My Hubby and I Loved our trip to Sicily. We will return. While we found Noto totally charming + did find a maybe gay owned book store / cafe I would’nt call it’ a gay capital…. We had a problem with a homophobic Airbnb “superhost” in Catania, it was so uncomfortable for me that we left early and stayed in Taormina - also beautiful and based on its past felt more gay friendly - there was also a gay owned guest house in Taormina. We also were introduced to a gay couple living in Palermo; one a doctor other a tour guide. They said Sicily is not particularly Gay friendly, but did say Captania was the best place. However, here you’re showing clearly gay places + beaches etc. I will say though that our trip was about 10 years ago; I can assume progress has been made. Frankly, as an Italian American Italy always has felt stuck in the past. Italian friends there say it’s the influence of the Vatican (Hope that is changing). Having said all this we will return; there’s something Really special and ancient feeling (Sicily has better preserved Greek sites then Greece) just Loved it, even with it’s flaws. Lastly we’re an older married couple who didn’t look for bars, or beaches, did find all the great food and food markets!!! Yummy
I have the same opinion about Italy when it comes to acceptance about lgbtiq+ people. It’s mainly like that in the majority of the places, apart of Milan that is very gay.
If you go in summer to Noto you’ll see so many gay couples in the streets walking around and enjoying the city. It’s very charming.
I felt noto and few other places like Taormina in Sicily quite gay and with nice gay beaches to go but unfortunately that doesn’t reflect in the whole country.
You could hear people celebrating when the parliament in Italy took away one of the existing lgbtiq+ laws.
Looks beautiful and fun!
It’s amazing
amazing Sicily vlog, I have never been there, but I noticed that the terrain looks similar to Malta. I get the sense that Sicily is more of a couple vacation spot. Would recommend it for solo travelers? It does look lovely though.
Also a quick question, I plan on vacationing later this year in Spain (Barcelona, Stiges, Madrid, Valencia). I wanted to know more about the 3 Ibiza islands. Are they just overpriced islands where rich Brits go to party? Do you plan on covering these islands? Is there a vibrant LGBT nightlife scene on these islands?
Ibiza is beautiful but not much gay life happening there. there is one gay beach and a couple of bars. but the island is amazing and fontanera (i think that is the name of the island close to it) has one of the most beautiful sunsets i have seen in my life.
Hello from Australia! ❤🌈🙂
Hello from Milan this week 👋
Noto ❤❤❤❤❤ e veramente super gayfriendly 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Gays everywhere there and from all ages. I loved it
Great video! I hope you finished your maté before you went cruising;-) you might need a free hand 😀
Hahahaha or a free mouth 😂😂😂😂
🤗😎 so you like to suck on things 🤔 my type of guy!
hehehe out little secret
what is all that litter of wood and sticks on beach?? I have to tell you not spectacualar.
That is a nature reserve and the way you see it on the video is the way that nature left from the day before. This is spectacular now a days. To find a place where men have not touched yet to make designed pavements and a beach full of deckchairs.
Yes, but all of the natural debris took up the beach area. Can't the local government clean that up and use it for firewood?@@yourgayguyde
@@andyroo9381 It's not legal to compromise the normal status of a natural reserve. What you call debris are part of the ecosystem and what you think is a tourists beach, it's not. It's a place you explore for what it is.
I would love to show you around a German city
which city in germany are you from?
❤❤
So beautiful!!!! What’s up with the darn graffiti….? Why so prevalent?????
Super moche cette plage.
