WOW!~ This was fun! Also from what I know both DK and Wonwoo are big fans of IU. Wonwoo also has a cover of IU's Knees (song). He actually covered it after his mother passed away though. 😢 Also Seungkwan has a cover of IU's Love Poem. This is quite some time before the IU Palette and IU had even uploaded it on her insta while complimenting Seungkwan for his singing. And IU performed little bit of Hoshi's Ah Puh choreo in her concert!~
IU's palette is most soothing talk show. She is an introvert herself still manages to make guests comfortable. Wish wonwoo was here😢😢. He is biggest IU fan. This is the only place where you will find DK so sincere. Mostly he is the most chaotic one. After watching seventeen in palette i came to know about them and now they are the only 3rd gen bg i like.
the band is mostly made up of teens iu sponsored so they can pursue music. it was initially a secret but a real estate issue raised against iu forced her team to reveal that the building she bought was partly used to help support young musicians pursue their passion for music. :)
YESSSSSS!!!!! When I heard you loving on IU the other day I almost was going to say you HAVE TO WATCH THIS IMMEDIATELY and I got a bit sidetracked but I knew you would do it and here we are. Aren't their covers so gorgeous??? and the arrangement of Hot with IU's band is soooooo coool. Seventeen are so unique in their capabilities, just such a special group. And they sounded so amazing as well. So much Seungkwan to hear, of course I am so happy - and all the detail parts that IU was so touched about, with the live backing vocals and everything. But really I feel like Hoshi in particular fits so well in Blueming. When he went on Lee Mujin Service you could hear a similar tone in his voice as how he sings that verse, I really like that vibe on Hoshi so much. DK is so cute, and there's a part where when IU is talking about choosing Darl+ing that Woozi's ears and neck go bright red. He is soooo cute and shy here talking with IU about everything, she clearly respects him so much and in return he is so flattered and honored it's just the most adorable relationship with these two. I really hope to see more of their interaction and possible collaboration in the future!
I don't think IU has any non-cute fans. You love her and your adorableness increases tenfold. Seriously, I can see why all of them including me just want to melt it a puddle or fly into the sky when it comes to her. This grouping was a really nice little subunit to bring,- just in the all around banter, differing personalities, vocal quality to pair with her. I love all the guys, but they meshed with IU so well. And with Hoshi, yes. It's that air! They both have a really pretty breathy quality, her and our Hosh!

I love all these songs, except the Modern Times album. That one’s new to me so will for sure check that out. Eight/People through SUGA led me to IU. Now just mad that it took me so long to check out her actual solo stuff more. I would have had so much to love so much sooner!!! As I haven’t dug into the lyrics yet, I didn’t know Lilac actually tied to her 29th so love that fun fact as well. Thank you for this AND for the best vocal moments. For sure going to check that out ASAP
So good. I wish I could say I would but I already watched it when it aired so the reaction wouldn’t be there but wish I would have saved it now knowing my current IU love. SUGA was how I found IU so in the end also probably wouldn’t have gotten to this point without People Pt 2 taking me back to Eight and the seeing that ep. Always feel weird exposing because I feel this channel completely changes how I’m consuming stuff. I dive in so much on one aspect but still stay far away on others. So I’m pretty far in in terms of her discography. It’s so large I still have so far to go but I have at least a few hours worth of playlist play across all her releases from the beginning to current but even though I haven’t listened to full albums really. Just cherry picked songs. I’ve seen NO MVs outside of the SUGA connected songs. since I wanted to save those for here. That’s been the hardest to hold off on so hope to check out more of those with y’all. I’ve watched a few IU’s palette. Hope for more of those here too. Have also only seen random eps of her IUTV content. The obsession is real but the channel is definitely forcing me to take it slow 💜🤣
