"Chase me" was their debut, released on January 13th (a Friday), 2017. It must have been nerve-wrecking for the members, re-debuting with a genre that is not popular in Korea after Minx failed. (5 of them were Minx before.) But they already doubled their sales with this. And they stuck with the Rock/Metal vibe until today, now selling 50 times the albums than Minx did. This is the start of the Nightmare arc, which spans 6 MVs and 1 Japanese release. They are Nightmares here, and the Nightmare hunter is trying to dispel them - how that turns out is shown in the next one, Good Night. Their dance costume here is like a shortened Yukata, except wrapped right over left, something that's usually only done for the deceased. Fits well into the horror concept! Remember the ending here for when you react to Good Night!

Siyeon can deliver whatever the song requires of her. She has a 4 octave range and she's especially good at R&B and Jazz. She has incredible power and control. Siyeon has the kind of voice that was made for concert halls of the 19th Century before microphones were invented. She doesn't need one. You'll notice when she's going to show her power she moves the mike further away. Even doing that she often overpowers the other members when they're performing on stage.

Yay! Dreamcatcher album reactions. The best way to consume Dreamcatcher's music, in my opinion. I always loved the dichotomy of their first two single albums. Hard hitting anime style rock songs paired with these beautiful slower songs. I laughed when you said Siyeon had that soft birdlike voice because it just shows how versatile she can be. She has so much power in her voice and she can project it like crazy but she also can do the softer more gentle things as well. Siyeon was in a rock band when she was in school so that harder style is more her speed. Fans have been wanting her to cover a Paramore song for years. I'd love to see her tackle one of their songs. Looking forward to Fall asleep in the Mirror. It's got one of my favorite intros. Also the BSide, Lullaby, just got an updated version earlier this year. If you do the original special clip and the new version you can hear how much their voices have matured in that time.

Hey if you get a chance check out the first howl vocal solos. It’s not a spoiler for concert because they remarkably are changing nightly what they sing and I think it will help them a lot if reactors help them gain a solid reputation as live acts. The more shine we can give Chisa, Juria, and hinata the better. Establishing ur group as a killer act live can help a group grow. Plus you don’t want to miss chisa and Juria doing Whitney and Mariah do you?

My theory on the needle thing is initially x gene was gonna be more of super soldier alien idea and they pivoted away from it quickly for all the reasons u mention.

Jurin is not the oldest member. She's not even the 2nd oldest member. Chisa is the oldest and the Sub Leader and Hinata is the 2nd oldest.

Since I already came to her concert this year when my country is part of Here Concert Tour, my next goal is to attend on one of her concert in seoul south korea soon🙏💜

Yeah you're right it is about her concert tour. She said something along the lines of, normally she doesn't like summer, but this was her best and longest summer. Every city except Seoul and yokahama were had warm weather. So it felt like a really long summer and it has now come to an end all of a sudden. Fun fact: D1 of that concert was the last day of summer equinox and it rained only during that song. And D2 was her 100th concert.

It is a song made with the memory that IU was happy while doing a tour concert in the summer of 2024. It was a song to the fans who came to the concert. All the girls at the scene were moved to tears. 2day 107K

Nmixx always makes me feel like I’m watching artists perform, not just idols. I know idols can be both, but not every group gives off that feeling. If you watch any of their variety stuff like Pick Nmixx or their Mixx Vlogs, you will almost always catch them singing to themselves or with each other. Nmixx randomly bursting out in song is just what Nmixx does. They truly love music and always seem to be working on their craft.
