I just recently got DJI drone and felt love with it and for sure now it’s for me dream client that I would like to work with because the drone just move my production to next level and I use other DJI products like gimbals or the microphones.
I’d love to work with RUclips honestly. Not sure what i would do for them but I’ve always admired the platform and how they have pushed creators. That’s my dream company! i think it really has allowed people to push their creative boundary and given a place for creators to thrive
I love making action-filled and inspirational cinematic videos, and therefore I stand between the three brands for different reasons: 1. DJI - I love the cinematic shots that you can create from an aerial perspective with their drones. 2. Gopro - Nothing beats the amazing high-quality action shots the GoPro cameras can deliver. And 3. Artlist - No doubt the best platform for cinematic music and sound effects (always makes me shiver haha)

Dream client is hard to choose, DJI is a close tie, but Davinci would probably be number 1 since I owe most of my videography growth to their free version and the ability to learn from their platform.
my dream client would be a bike brand like canyon. i just love their desing and the performace of their bíkes. i always wantet to shoot a comercial for a new bike of them.

Mine wouldn’t be a company per se, but a place. That place would be Newmarket Ontario. When I started watching RUclipsrs, I found Matti Haapoja, then Peter McKinnon, then Howard Monteith, and Metropolis Coffee and they just feel like family. If I ever get to work with my dream “client”, I’d die a happy person.
Thank you for these informative insights, man! Ever since I started my photography / videography journey, I wanted to work with Porsche. No matter how surreal this idea might be. But getting the opportunity to take one of these amazing pieces of engineering out on the streets and experiencing the adrenalin coming with that would just be mindblowing.

My dream Co. to do a job for would be any clothing magazine. It sounds simple enough, but I have always been intrigued with the clean, sharp images in magazines since I was 6 years old looking at my grandmother’s SPIEGEL catalog 😂 To this day I look through Lucchese catalogs, Boot Barn, Nike, etc that I receive in the mail and think “I can shoot that” 😎 probably never will for any of those names, but I still enjoy making the same images with my own community for smaller clientele. 😁

I would say my dream brand is Nike, I’ve grown up wearing Nike all my life and my brother works there now and I’m working on a spec project with my brother, sharing his journey to working at Nike.

Sony. I'm 50; I started taking photos at 47, so I don't really fit "the mold." I'm currently attempting to recast the mold. Creamy as always.

The reality is that you can be the master of drones but these kind of collaborations are 99% driven by audience. The content is just an accessory to literally MEDIA BUYING for them. Doing a campaign with Sam from a company perspective is simply buying visibility on a very targeted fan base that could buy their products. This to say that you can create a video that is insane but if you don’t have the fan base DJI will never even respond to you for projects like this. Creating official commercials on the other hand has a complete different route, you pass via the creative agencies (Pubblicis Saatchi and so on) that serve the brands. If you expect to from an email to a big brand mktg department with an already finished video and pitch an idea chances are that the person you would be talking to doesn’t even have the budget control of the communication under their hands because it is externalities to media and creative agencies.
I think that is the point. You definitely don’t want to be endlessly reaching out to companies and expecting their customer service rep to be able to give you that opportunity. it pays off much more to build an audience and a personal brand, create things for your own pleasure as an artist and also create things that solve a need for people that are not (yet) sponsored. Also understanding what goes viral and what is trending on social media. That way, especially with the ability to reach millions on tik tok etc, you can inevitably get the right peoples eyes on you. In any creative sense, it is much more about network than anything else. Then, you can finally spend the energy to reach out once you actually have some way inside. Content is honestly an accessory to anything when you want to make money. You need to define what it is you want to do: like selling your own course, growing a specific audience, collaborating with a brand, selling presets etc and work backwards from there. You never want to be shooting in the dark content wise and hoping to achieve something that you haven’t designed it for.
These are not media related companies but I would love to collaborate w/ thrashin supply co, thrasher mag or aputure. 🙏🏻

I always dreamed about working for Salomon running , and took me some time :) but finally I am making first project directly for them and super excited about it!! :) First I worked with them locally doing little even shots , slowly getting more and more traction and one day international department noticed one of my projects for norwegian market :) and this is how it went :)
