The one thing people seem to forget is that HHH was also dealing with hamstring injuries, hence the compression shorts. That also hindered him on being able to properly execute the pedigree because it uses the hamstrings quite a lot to do it. If anything, both botched it. HHH's botch was injury related.
Appreciate the recognition for Swagger's gut-wrench bomb. I'm not saying he's a great wrestler by any means, but it's a difficult move to do in the first place, let alone do well enough to be a finish; but when Swagger hit it well, it worked and was genuinely impressive.
You could always tell when someone sandbagged Batista's finish lol. Even dudes like Kane and Taker went up easily enough for it to look Finisher worthy.
Three of these were due to actual injury and at least one was wholly inexplicable (the Swagger/Riley gutwrench...Swagger appears strong enough and Riley was agile and light enough...
In regards to Tensai, i think it was later said to Tensai sandbagged the move either on purpose or maybe he thought Ryback could pull it off without any assistance or anything. If that was the case then it likely was to do wíth egos or something.
I remember seeing Ryback try to shellshock Paul Heyman at a house show. It worked about as well as the one against Albert. Must be something to do with weight distribution
It’s a mix of weight distribution and the way that Ryback has to lift someone into the move. It’s not a clean front suplex lift, but one where you’re trying to shift them into position laterally. If he used a fireman’s carry or a fisherman’s type of set up, it likely wouldn’t have been so hard in terms of weight distribution.
The Batista bomb botch to Booker T was likely a sandbagging by Booker. They did have well known issues at that time. The Umanga one is almost guaranteed to be due to the, ummm, weight distribution of Umaga.
There's so many finishers that never looked the least bit devastating. The Pedigree is one of them. The way Triple H releases his opponent's arms before landing completely defeats the whole purpose of the move. The Rock's Rock Bottom and People's Elbow (and Hulk Hogan's leg drop) are also a joke. I could go on and on.
Riley sandbaging my homie😂. I say that cause Jake Hager is my real name too like his which always thought was cool especially on a decent wrestler like him. Im glad i wasnt named Duke Drosey or a enhancement talent name.
HHH botched his finisher in his first WWF match. Anyone else who did that today would be stuck in developmental not even on NXT. But of course, HHH and HBK get special treatment and have been given special treatment and favoritism for over 25 years. (HBK did Playgirl as a favor to Vince, HHH and Stephanie probably made sex tapes for him to watch lol )
the undertaker vs goldberg match was going to be bad no matter what. both men are old now and well past their prime. that should've been known but a lot of haters wanted something to hate goldberg for and the die hard fans got their hopes up.
Really getting tired of channels making snide comments about the political state of the us when they are based in the uk. You need to clean your own country up before you cast judgement on others.
Honestly to me Trips never botched his finish since like all of his opponents took it properly but it's known that Marty Garner botched it bad because he thought the move was different. So to me I actually blame his opponents for botching since they should've watched him do it earlier in different matches. Something Garner, Goldberg, and Vince McMahon didn't do. So it wasn't Trips who botched his own finish it was his opponents
Kidman had the worst shooting star press I've ever seen (outside of Matt Sidell's feeble attempt). Kidman would always turn instead of jumping out and it always looked ugly. And then he almost killed Chavo. Wouldn't have happened if he was capable of performing the move correctly.
According to the autopsy, the accident happened between the dropkick preceding the maneuver and Aguayo hitting the ropes (which, when tightened, can and have caused serious injury...just look at when people clip the ropes during matches)...in fact, the damage to Aguayo's cervical vertebrae (C-1 through C-3, also known as the vertebrae in your neck) could've started earlier in the match (or even further back in his career) and the contact with the rope was enough to snap them.
why everything now has to be the greatest in history, just let ot be in its own time...the greatest finisher is definitely not no RKO, it's not even an original
8:15 i saw in an interview rey had told them not to lean on the rope and push it down as he uses the top and middle rope for his grip but they pushed it down a lot and thats why he lost grip and flew out of the ring
So... what part about Golberg botching the pedigree makes it Triple H botching his finisher?
Exactly. Doesn't belong on the list

What part of Jericho botching the RKO makes it Orton’s fault?
I must of heard it differently because I heard them blame Goldberg
@@walterhager8626 read the name of the video bro

As long as they can get up for it, it's not too hard.
You could always tell when someone sandbagged Batista's finish lol. Even dudes like Kane and Taker went up easily enough for it to look Finisher worthy.
Swagger and Ryback should form a tag team.
Called “The Charisma Voids”
I kind of always liked the way Billy Kidman did the shooting star because it made me feel like I could do it haha
To me it was just death
Are you saying that you like the way Kidman knocked out Chavo by accident?
Ive done a Swanton Bomb before.
😊😊
A lot of these were the recipient's fault.
Three of these were due to actual injury and at least one was wholly inexplicable (the Swagger/Riley gutwrench...Swagger appears strong enough and Riley was agile and light enough...
I blame WWE for having 2 men in their mid 50s who wrestle twice a year, main event a PLE in the middle of a 95-degree F desert
I was there at the Smackdown when Kidman f'ed up the SSP. Crazy stuff.
Not the first time. He injured Chavo with it also.
In regards to Tensai, i think it was later said to Tensai sandbagged the move either on purpose or maybe he thought Ryback could pull it off without any assistance or anything. If that was the case then it likely was to do wíth egos or something.
I preferred Jack Swagger's Gutwrench Powerbomb it looked way better than the Ankle Lock he did and his AEW finish too.
Surprised the ringpost 619 attempt at WM22 wasn't brought up in talking about Rey botching that move.
I remember seeing Ryback try to shellshock Paul Heyman at a house show. It worked about as well as the one against Albert. Must be something to do with weight distribution

Thumbnail looks like a Greenberg Botch😂
Edit- Cuz it is
Didn't help that Triple H had the torn quad tights 😭
TBH this whole list could just be Nia Jax.
At the Great American Bash 2006 Batista also botched the Batista Bomb against Mr. Kennedy.
That match should've been finished when Taker hit the Tombstone on Goldberg.
The Batista bomb botch to Booker T was likely a sandbagging by Booker. They did have well known issues at that time. The Umanga one is almost guaranteed to be due to the, ummm, weight distribution of Umaga.
I hate that a single finisher doesn't end matches anymore.
It does sometimes.
There's so many finishers that never looked the least bit devastating. The Pedigree is one of them. The Inner Circle implores 😂
nah that y2j botched rko is a classic lmao
GTS is hard to hit on tall guys. I remember Punk broke Snitsky's nose with it. Brutal
The one's from Raw, I remember watching live.
Everytime Liv Morgan does her moves.
06:12 - 06:23: "Hm! I ah do, de-de RKO! YEAH!"
The forward backflip is a gainer...
Taker vs Goldberg was a bad idea. Not sure who wanted to see this match ever. Even at their prime, I don't see it as a dream match.
Riley sandbaging my homie😂. I say that cause Jake Hager is my real name too like his which always thought was cool especially on a decent wrestler like him. Im glad i wasnt named Duke Drosey or a enhancement talent name.
Hogan botched the leg drop at least half the time he did it. He even botched it in that a-team episode he was in.
RK Doh got me chuckling.
i clicked on this video just to watch you shit talk ryback, i better not be disappointed.
The name on the ryback's section made me lol for real
Maybe Billy shouldn’t have performed the SSP so much.
Punk loves "borrowing" moves
HHH botched his finisher in his first WWF match. Anyone else who did that today would be stuck in developmental not even on NXT. Haven’t watched yet but assuming number 1 is Goldberg vs Undertaker
the undertaker vs goldberg match was going to be bad no matter what. both men are old now and well past their prime. that should've been known but a lot of haters wanted something to hate goldberg for and the die hard fans got their hopes up.
Ryback used to all everyone stupid while he squashed them. I actually used to like him.
I'd love for him to return with a 1 off Rumble moment and end up being eliminated by Punk. Have a match at Mania and TRULY retires
What match was it where Goldberg concussed himself by headbutting the door to hard cause I thought that was against Taker.
Reys more than occasionally m÷ssed it up. Its got like an 80% sucess rate😂. Still an awesome move especially live
So number 9 was Goldberg botching the move and not HHH, You couldn’t even get 2 items into the video without botching it 🤦🏻♂️
Thats who jonny gargano look like nunizo 😂😂😂
Punk sure uhh borrowed a lot
Why thebsarcasm for pubs using someone else's move. But no one else? He's not the only person to use someone else's move.
If the point of executing a move is to also make it look good, then I think we can say that Punk botches every move he tries.
I liked Tensai

I would argue ‘finishers’ rarely finish matches these days. Maybe if you hit it 3 times in a row *cough cough* Cody Rhodes.
Even the Bucks don't need 3 finishers (Meltzer driver)
@@Beast_the_smash_guy They need seven.
I think Perro Aguayo Jr. can point to a worse 619 by Rey…. 😬
The 619 didn't kill him, people really need to stop saying this shit
According to the autopsy, the accident happened between the dropkick preceding the maneuver and Aguayo hitting the ropes (which, when tightened, can and have caused serious injury...just look at when people clip the ropes during matches)...in fact, the damage to Aguayo's cervical vertebrae (C-1 through C-3, also known as the vertebrae in your neck) could've started earlier in the match (or even further back in his career) and the contact with the rope was enough to snap them.

May i ask why we dont have moving images? It would make this sort of content even more awsome. Huge fan of the Channel!

9:50 what's that little sound in the background after Adam says "into"? It happens a couple times throughout the video.
Wanted to see the actual video not u yapping...👎👎
Klandy didn't call big show or jericho "stupid" for messing up the rko, hmmm, wonder why.
9:42 it's almost mpressive how you manage to unessearily shoehorn your guys political opinion in almost every video
Exactly. Mayor Kane is awesome.
