Philosophy of learning fencing by Antonio di Ciolo Pisa (Italian spoken)

This film shows the philosophy of learning and practice of fencing by the very succesfull fencing master Antonio Di Ciolo and his team of trainers, Enrico Di Ciolo and Simone Piccini. Their fencingschool in Pisa is seen to them as a laboratory of experiment and technical study. They advocate freedom of learning instead of teaching and the level of variation in practice goes far beyond the specifics of fencing. Fencing teaches sensomotoric, psychomotoric and sociomotoric skills and at the same time through exercises in these specific or combined motoric skills fencing abilities become better.
