If you are finding yourself unable to complete certain tasks and keep moving them to the next day or the next week, then this video is for you. Brealing your tasks down will help you manage and complete them a lot better. Absolutely I deal with project overwhelm! Sometimes I feel like I need a huge chunk of time to tackle a project, where if I break it down into steps, I am more apt to do little steps when I have moments. That helps me get started sooner. I appreciate you channel right now in my life! I read David Allen’s GTD book a few months ago, and started a binder to house everything. A struggle I have is opening that binder daily. I find random loose pieces of paper better for me to use for lists. As long as I have momentum, and am “getting things done”, knowing where to find those lists, I am trying not to be perfect in my system.
Yes, it's so good to make progress by actioning one task at a time, right? I too created little filing folder to put the loose paper stuff and then have in my planner to check those file folder once a week so I don't miss out on this that may need to be actioned for the the current week or the next. Great that you are giving yourself grace to try not to be perfect, yay! ☺
I love this video. So clear and actionable. Questions: Do you use a separate "notebook" for your project list? Do you separate personal and work into separate planners or use one?
Thank you so much 😊 for the projects list I keep it all in the one planner (whether I’m using a personal size or an A5) as I don’t write out the projects until I am ready to start actioning the first step. But I do keep separate list of “stuff” for my content creation and my personal/family/home/kids’ school - just so it doesn’t get lost in all my content creation ideas.
Thank you Mariane, I bought your download a few days ago and love them, also such easy instructions you gave to print them off too, this has so started to get me organised 🎉❤
I am using the Pilot FriXion Ball slim 0.38 pen - here's my Amazon affiliate link to it: amzn.to/4dU03GB. Please be aware, do not use erasable pens for legal or accounting things as it may fade in the heat ... like if you leave it in the sun or the dashboard of your car ☺
@@jessibishoproyse I keep my List of “Stuff” and Projects list in separate planner as o take my daily planner with me so it doesn’t have all the other planner pages that I don’t use on a daily basis. I’m hoping to do a planner lineup video soon to show what different planners I have.
Hi Crystal, it’s on the list of videos to do. This is actually just a small corner of our shared open space with dining table and homeschool area of our small flat. But hoping soon I can make at least planner desk and RUclips video area tour soon ☺️
Do you have one big list to track all the projects, or do you prefer to flip through the project lists to see all of them? I can't keep track of all the things I need to do and I'm not sure how to stay on top of it all.
@@astrid5126 this is the list. I try not to have too many projects going on at the same time. I don’t create a project until I am ready to tackle them. In the meantime, those are on my List of “stuff” ruclips.net/video/_NfrvItjqLg/видео.html

Such a great reminder to make sure you know what you're dealing with, a task or a project. Thank you for making this video, Mariane!

Thanks for the reminder. I was actually looking at my projects list last night, thinking how can I organize this better.

What fine tip pen are you using in the video?

Can you make a tour of your room please! Is look like is pretty 😍 but is blurred
