Respect for playing "Katharinas Bortgang", playing a song from "Pentagram" can never be a bad move for Gorgoroth, but they don't understand how much we would all love if we heard them play "Under the pagan megalith" nowdays. People would go crazy.
I don’t think they ever have played under the pagan megalith, because both the songwriting and lyrics were created by goatpervertor, but I could be wrong. It is a fantastic song! (Also you need a second vocalist for the last part of the song, which I don’t think they have.)

@@Blakullawitch yeah, sir goat was drummer #1, Hat spoke a little badly about him at the time saying that he “preferred to belong to weak human minds.” So there was perhaps some animosity between them, especially since he quit a week before their debut concert and Hat and Infernus had to rush to get frost of satyricon on board. ( it’s pure conjecture though, my opinion is in no way confirmed. Also, infernus plays nothing from incipit Satan through to ad majorem sathanas gloriam, except for incipit satan, unchain my heart and forces of satan storms, so he seems to place quite a bit of importance on not using other peoples music. Katharinas bortgang I think was written both lyrics and songwriting by infernus, which may explain why it’s the only track from pentagram which they perform. Ah, well it would be nice if they placed a bit more emphasis on pentagram. Begravelsesnatt and drømmer om død would be nice played live too. Here endeth the rant.

Вполне нормальное исполнение. Бывало и похуже.Особенно когда Хёст бухой в жопу. Правда тут он тоже на взводе...Но куда адекватнее чем на многих концертах

With all the cost of touring and moving equipment and people around to different shows, how much do they really earn at the end of a tour? How do you live playing music like this in 2024?? Part of me is sad that the bands I had back in the day went nowhere and I fell into a regular career/job. But part of me is thankful because playing this every night and moving equipment and people in constant transit, would have burned me out in no time. No matter how much I love the music or not. But I am very glad Gorgoroth and others are still doing it for us!
This is still so called underground even if band famous. Most of the bands playing because it's their "rock music" life, they do what they want. If you want to earn a lot from concerts it should be Amon Amarth style.
And you never know what is really under the hood...

They removed most of the Gaahl-era stuff from Spotify but Infernus can't deny that it's some of Gorogorth's best, so they still perform it live (even Unchain my Heart, which was a surprise...)

I respect the hell out of Hoest, but he just ain't it for Gorgoroth. I find it hard to believe that they can't find someone willing to be their permanent singer, one of the most important bands in Norwegian Black metal? Come on.... you can probably throw a rock at somebody in Norway and they'll be a black metal vocalist
