    A random thought I've had about toxin. He's essentially similar to carnage in nature, in regards to his violent impulses but tries to be better due to his host. So it's very fitting hes an almost identical card to carnage, except instead of destroying the other cards he 'saves' them back to your hand. Unsure if this was intentional or not

    Thena, Angela, and Kitty. Agent Venom gets the ball rolling on their scaling without playing them.

    This card is a soft counter Lady deathstrike
    Some decks that come to mind are cerebero 4, move, destroy, kittymaster,
    Mutiplay, (Angela, Bishop, hit monkey deck), bounce
    Cerebero 4
    4 power cerebero, mystique, iron man, and onslaught
    Interesting if you play Colleen and ghost rider which are both 4 power so if all cards in your hand are 4 power Colleen will just discard 1 random card and the only card that you would be terrible to discard is mystique because bringing her back isn't ideal if she isn't copying anything
    Another card just as terrible but not as detrimental to discard is cerbro because you can get it back with ghost rider but not having ghost rider can be detrimental but don't play collen without having ghost rider in hand in fact it could turn 6 play when you have ghost rider and one other card making it a base 12 play.
    discarding ghost rider isn't really punishing as much because you're not losing out on something central to your game plan because you have other 4 power cards to play anyways.
    -move
    Has a lot of low power cards but having power 4 on multiple man, human torch, kraven, ghost spider, madam web goes a long way
    Destroy
    Has some low power cards x-23, dead pool, venom, carnage, Zola, magik, and +1 power to killmonger
    You really can't play death or destroyer but Knull doesn't mind it because knull going to change power anyway
    Fun fact knull
    there's a potential +3 to Knull after popping bucky Barnes so bucky is usually a 1 power but popping him at 4 and 6 is 10 power to Knull
    So almost every +X power is potentially+X to Knull
    -kittymaster, mutiplay,bounce
    There's a Venn diagram of cards between kittymaster
    Same cards being
    Kitty pride
    Forge
    Hulk buster
    Araña
    Magik
    But
    Kittymaster wants to boost kitty pride as much as humanly possible and play kitty pride and taskmaster on the last possible turn.
    meanwhile mutiplay wants to boost Angela and bishop and use Zola on them or use Zola on hit monkey.
    But the point is having a higher power on the cards they use can go a long way by having 1 to 3 extra power on everything.
    The only thing to keep in mind is agent venom vs Renslayer and mister negative

    Agent venom and venom Carnage toxin Wolverine x 23 deadpool this is going to be Huge power increase in Destroy deck

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  28 дней назад +2

      The slight difficulty is you need to have not only drawn Agent Venom (early) but also have not drawn them, and then after that, have enough time to scramble the cards out and repeatedly destroy.
      Might work though to be fair. Cards like Arnim and Knull wouldn't mind the extra power either.

    Thanks for taking the place of Drew as the person I tell is wrong every week! Much appreciate the sacrifice 💕
    You're actually not wrong about anything I can see, other than this being a Mr Negative card. I think it is too clunky in that deck. But, yeah this card is cracked and is going to change the meta if it stays the way it was datamined

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  28 дней назад +1

      @@JamestheKilljoy First and b foremost, thank you. Second, I think you may be right to be honest, it definitely is clunky. Especially in a deck with Ravonna or Psylocke where there's either further anti synergy or just makes it difficult to decide what to do on 2 if your hand is shaky.

    • @JamestheKilljoy
      @JamestheKilljoy 28 дней назад

      @@rezsnapper if you think about it, Mr. Negative decks could be playing Bast for a similar effect and a 1-1 would be far less clunky. But they don't because there are better things to put in your Mr Negative deck. Not a lot of room for cards like this when they could just put a X-0 card in there for Mr Neg to abuse

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  28 дней назад

      @@JamestheKilljoy Whilst I don't entirely disagree, my main point of contention to that is that 2/4 is above average power, especially significant in a Negz deck where you can double it with Iron Man, whereas Bast is essentially just clogging your location.
      And secondly, Bast hits only the free cards you have drawn, with AV being much more impactful, AND the additional 1 power, so IMHO AV is incomparably better in that scenario.

    • @JamestheKilljoy
      @JamestheKilljoy 28 дней назад +1

      @@rezsnapper okay fair point. But, I think him hitting the deck actually makes his less valuable. You want the cards in your hand that were not flipped by Mr Negative to be buffed, not the ones he is going to flip! It just doesn't make sense to me 😂 but I know I could always be wrong

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  27 дней назад

      @@JamestheKilljoy Yeah I don't disagree. I would view them as backups to each other, and you don't really wanna draw both.

  • @TK3477
    @TK3477 28 дней назад +1

    Doesn't Sage get more power by different power totals on cards in her location? If they are all 4, she's only going to get a 2 power buff limiting her to 6 power.

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  27 дней назад

      @@TK3477 It's a good point, however, firstly she may have the headstart of the +4 from Agent Venom which is already good.
      Second, she counts opponent cards too.
      Third, you will also have cards which started in your hand which don't have 4 power, and any you draw before playing Agent Venom, so plenty of opportunity.

    Honestly I think agent venom is going to be the most disappointing season pass card this year. His ability is interesting but I really don't see any real decks he'll help or work in besides c4 and maybe ongoing. Sure everyone just says "use cage and you won't have to worry about the negative side effects of venom" but then there's problems of never getting him or rouge/enchantress.

    • @rezsnapper
      @rezsnapper  28 дней назад +1

      My pet hate is people saying "Just run Cage", I've seen people say this for Anti-Venom.
      No? Just build a deck that synergizes towards your goal and don't worry about the neg power on 1 card.
      Anyway, I definitely disagree that it will be the most disappointing SP card to be fair. Black Swan was pretty disappointing. Agent Venom has a HUGE potential power output, not to be sniffed at!

    Simply PASS AGent Venom....
    Too slow, it limits deck building, his ability is ON Reveal and it does not fit into most archetypes.
