Honestly the only thing that changes with the assassins killing lalo, is lalo doesn't kill howard and all the consequences of that don't happen. This video would be better framed as "what if lalo didn't kill howard?"
@@oskaranddaniel7582 then why did that not happen in the original timeline? Seriously I don't think you understand the early part of season 6. The twins assumed lalo is dead. This change in the story reminds me a lot of the ending of Barry where the person who's trying to put an end to the protagonist gets blamed and the protagonist dies an hero of some sort.
The ending doesn't really hold up. Flynn may not be on speaking terms with his mom and aunt, but he's probably smart enough to see that the former is not in any mood to lie for the latter or her husband, so unless Flynn goes and starts spreading rumours at school(?), he would quickly be told, and have no reason not to believe, that the confession tape was a deliberate ploy to intimidate Hank.
A different way you could have done this was having hank be the inside man for Walter. Having Walter saying Hank was his inside man and having Hank go with it knowing the only other way out would be a bullet in the head.
What if Gus never suspected Lalo survived? In order for that to happen, Hector would have to not smile at Gus so much and actually keep his poker face, thus confirming no one was coming to get Gus. What if Walt (reluctantly) became a mole for the DEA? Instead of telling Skyler that he is the danger, the two talk about how to break the news of his drug dealings lightly to Hank and now Walt is going to be a man on the inside.
Hey murge ,you Could do a second part of this story , about what will happen to walter Jr after seeing the confession tape , this was probably the best what if ending that you ever done , i love your work man.
There’s something poetic about walter and jesse being chemically dissolved together. being done to them what they did to some many people. that was for crazy 8, Emilio, drew sharp, mike, victor
So now Walt Jr. has been presented with a confession that both Skylar and Marie know is completely false but he is never going to believe that. And now, not only has he lost his father (who as far he is concerned is innocent) but now he's going to lose his uncle by having his image of him unjustly destroyed. I actually feel like this is a worse fate for him. Cause in the show he still lost his father and uncle but at least he more or less knew the truth about them both
The one thing that seemed a little extreme to me was how Hank just totally wants to take Walter in, not even caring about how much it would destroy his family. Hank didn’t hesitate at all, he seemed way too dedicated to his job to a fault. Just imagine the writing if Hank had to decide whether to take Walt in or become the new Mike and join Walter white. I feel like Hank joining Walt would have brought more content, imagine Hank and Walter just taking out more cartels working together. Feel like there would be something there.
One I'm kinda surprised you hadn't done yet: What if Gus didn't die? I feel like two versions of this have potential: The realistic one, where the bomb simply fails to go off, and the less realistic one, where Gus is horrifically scarred, yet still alive after the explosion.
I don't think the Gus surviving is so unrealistic though, pipe bomb isn't the thing powerful enough to guaranteed kill everyone in the room, so canonically Gus got a bit unlucky. What I always think of though, is the pipe bomb is surely not powerful enough to kill the car passengers, so Gus would definitely have survive that case of bombing if he used the car.
Some ideas for the next “What if” videos (maybe you did some of them already) - What if Hank didn’t have to take a 💩 - What if Chuck didn’t take out Jimmy from the prison, and Jimmy never become a lawyer? - What if the dirty cops managed to kill Mike? - What if Nacho didn’t want to poison Hector? - What if Tuco managed to kill Hank?
What if Hank just… didn’t find the Leaves of Grass book Tensions we’re already rising at the DEA because of Hank’s laser focus on the Heisenberg case, especially with Gale and Gus being the clear answers So, this might be the only way Walter gets out Though, i have a feeling that, without Hank on the case, nothing would stop a certain someone from burning his house down
17:15 No, killing Jesse is basically a running meme on this channel. He must never survive. I sort of wish this just went on for another minute or so, maybe covering the end of Hank's case and possible even a short mention of Gene Takovic but I'm more than happy with how much we got.
The SECOND you said "Fake news about the DEA being dirty" and why Junior would believe Walt was the cook, I *KNEW* you were gonna go with the confession DVD..
What if Walt had died sooner, as if his cancer got worse after the events of 4 days out. What would Jesse do with the meth they cooked and if Jesse would give walts family the money
Man that would be a fun story. I really dont know if jesse could think far enough ahead to NOT simply drop the money off on their porch leaving skyler absolutely flabbergasted. If she notices jesse, then shed probably get him to spill the beans and man that would be such a shock. But then shed realize she has to launder the money somehow, maybe forcing jesse to help her... the adventures of jesse and mrs white
A pretty realistic scenario. You know I always wonder if Jack and his crew was in the meth business before Walter showed up. I wonder what his gang was doing during Better call sual timeline.
What if in S4E8, Gus didnt notice the Victor poster before the DEA questioning him, therefore he wouldnt be prepared for them asking about his fingerprints in Gales house?
@@murgeproductions Just seemingly shows up in every what if plot regardless of what happens lol. I guess I always felt of him and their crew as a bit more of side characters that were only their for a small portion of the plot (albeit important parts).
The problem with this is that hank DID have evidence for Walt being Heisenberg he just chose to overlook it for so long until it was too evident; the stolen equipment from his schools lab, and the note from gale, etc.
This is such a great series dude, you've got a great voice and these are always super creative and fun to watch. Some scenarios that I've thought about: 1.) what if Skyler never gave Ted Walt's money? At this point Walt can actually attempt to start his whole family's life over (if they'd even be willing) and the consequences of that could be interesting. Not to mention the IRS might have a lead to them with Ted in lock-up. Jesse and Gus are still together, Brock never gets poisoned, and Hank still has a huge target on his back. And 2.) what if Skyler never figured out that Walt was a meth cook? This one requires a bit more of a leap but even something as simple as "Walt doesn't let it slip that he has two cellphones" could have ripples. I'd imagine the divorce still happens but if it does then Walt would need someone else to launder his money. Again keep up the great work man, have a good one.
What if Gus hired Walter Jr into working at Los Pollos Hermanos? I remember seeing that scene when Hank was with Walt Jr. into getting Gus' fingerprints on the soda cup and the idea of Gus now having Walter's son in close proximity would be interesting to think about where that would go.

crazy how even with all of these what if videos, the original story is still perfect
Excellent. I could literally see the scenes playing out in my head as you read them
What if Walt’s ego didn’t grow like it did in season 5 (basically season 4 Walt in season 5)
This is an interesting idea I never thought would be a video. Great video man!
More to come! And glad you liked it
Yoo that gunshot sound effect took me into the scene, I felt Walters heart shatter
Sorry dude, rats got to die
A different way you could have done this was having hank be the inside man for Walter. Having Walter saying Hank was his inside man and having Hank go with it knowing the only other way out would be a bullet in the head.
What if hank accidentally beaten Jesse to death in season 3 episode 7?
I would watch the whole show with you narrating it
What if Gus never suspected Lalo survived? In order for that to happen, Hector would have to not smile at Gus so much and actually keep his poker face, thus confirming no one was coming to get Gus.
What if Walt (reluctantly) became a mole for the DEA? Instead of telling Skyler that he is the danger, the two talk about how to break the news of his drug dealings lightly to Hank and now Walt is going to be a man on the inside.
damn man this is so well edited and thought out respect bro
Thanks tam
Hey murge ,you Could do a second part of this story , about what will happen to walter Jr after seeing the confession tape , this was probably the best what if ending that you ever done , i love your work man.
We should really get a part 2, i think theres potential for something interesting with the confession. Either way though great video
This ending - while unlikely - is more respectful towards the character.
There’s something poetic about walter and jesse being chemically dissolved together. being done to them what they did to some many people. that was for crazy 8, Emilio, drew sharp, mike, victor
Great job leaving this open ended! Your content keeps getting better.
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you
Mane, you come up with believable scenarios for the series, also you do some on point impressions for Jack and for Hank in your other video
Thanks dude! I try my best
What it Tuco remained as the villain of season 2 like originally planned?
I love how you still gave Jr the stutter bro 💀
Todd of all people being the one that killed Walt was shocking😳
Totally felt. He was the mix of being nice and vile at the same time
So now Walt Jr. has been presented with a confession that both Skylar and Marie know is completely false but he is never going to believe that. And now, not only has he lost his father (who as far he is concerned is innocent) but now he's going to lose his uncle by having his image of him unjustly destroyed. I actually feel like this is a worse fate for him. Cause in the show he still lost his father and uncle but at least he more or less knew the truth about them both
we’re probably in one of the only possible breaking bad timelines where jesse lives
Someone PLEASE make an alternate story where Jesse doesn't die. His character does NOT deserve that fate.
Right….
But he does for talking to the DEA. I mean, what kind of man talks to the DEA?
That's a good what if theory. Though instead I'd have the gang keep walter as there cook, similar to what they did with Jessie.
Walt having a DEA brother-in-law was too much of a liability for them.
Depends on the fine meth walt will cook for them, plus walt's cancer that they will notice as the weeks go by.
This was awesome good job
One I'm kinda surprised you hadn't done yet: What if Gus didn't die? I feel like two versions of this have potential:
The realistic one, where the bomb simply fails to go off, and the less realistic one, where Gus is horrifically scarred, yet still alive after the explosion.
Or if he took tyrus offer to do it by himself
Gus could’ve been the Two-Face of Albuquerque.
Walter got a taste of his own medicine, but no one deserves that.
Some ideas for the next “What if” videos (maybe you did some of them already)
- What if Hank didn’t have to take a 💩
- What if Chuck didn’t take out Jimmy from the prison, and Jimmy never become a lawyer?
- What if the dirty cops managed to kill Mike?
- What if Nacho didn’t want to poison Hector?
- What if Tuco managed to kill Hank?
Another Murge Production masterpiece🙌
What if Hank just… didn’t find the Leaves of Grass book
Tensions we’re already rising at the DEA because of Hank’s laser focus on the Heisenberg case, especially with Gale and Gus being the clear answers
So, this might be the only way Walter gets out
Though, i have a feeling that, without Hank on the case, nothing would stop a certain someone from burning his house down
Every Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul what if sounds like it came out of Vince’s writing room😂😂
17:15 No, killing Jesse is basically a running meme on this channel. He must never survive.
I sort of wish this just went on for another minute or so, maybe covering the end of Hank's case and possible even a short mention of Gene Takovic but I'm more than happy with how much we got.
I’m sure I can get a sequel out of this
The SECOND you said "Fake news about the DEA being dirty" and why Junior would believe Walt was the cook, I *KNEW* you were gonna go with the confession DVD..
Hank: police drop your weapons!
Walter: Jack don't do it!
Jack: "looks over to walter" Understands the situation to not drop his weapons
A pretty realistic scenario. You know I always wonder if Jack and his crew was in the meth business before Walter showed up. I wonder what his gang was doing during Better call sual timeline.
This might take the place as my favorite, youre only improving as you go.
What if in S4E8, Gus didnt notice the Victor poster before the DEA questioning him, therefore he wouldnt be prepared for them asking about his fingerprints in Gales house?
Personally I believe nothing would change.
Yeah I mean, its Gus to be fair.
My goodness, this feels like your masterpiece..! I love it. Great work..! 👏
Wow, thank you!
Particularly dark one: What if Walter and Skyler accidentally stabbed Walter Jr. during their fight?
watching your videos lately, makes me feel like you love jack.
Well damn, okay. Tell me more?
@@murgeproductions Just seemingly shows up in every what if plot regardless of what happens lol. I guess I always felt of him and their crew as a bit more of side characters that were only their for a small portion of the plot (albeit important parts).
🤔 interesting
Really makes you hate Jack and his crew of vermin even more. As if that was even possible.
This really is "the bad ending" where nobody wins lol
What if Walter died from the falling plane debris during the Wayfarer 505 collision?
The problem with this is that hank DID have evidence for Walt being Heisenberg he just chose to overlook it for so long until it was too evident; the stolen equipment from his schools lab, and the note from gale, etc.
I will say though this script is very well written and the scenario as well for the most part
That‘s the best what if story i know, yet you fail to see: he made up his mind ten minutes ago
thats sadder than ozymandias and felina combined
is it believable though
@@murgeproductionsyes
Oh my god please do a follow up, holy hell this was good.
