I loved being a kid in the 90’s!! Also explaining to my parents that it’s a video game, and I’m never going to rip a guys head off, with the spinal cord still attached, with my bare hands, in real life.
This was the most memorable stage to me. I loved fighting down in the Subway. I hated when I uppercutted my opponent up to street level and the music would change.
People these days will never have the experience of entering an Arcade and hearing all the music and fighting sound effects while people fought each other. It was a very unique thing to see and feel.
It was fun bro. Although online has some advantages. I don't have to worry about thug looking dudes waiting outside the arcade to beat me down because I gave them a beat down on the game. I had like 6 or 7 dudes walk into the front door of the arcade and say they were going to take my life because I beat this one Mexican guy down on mk3. The only reason they did not get me was because that arcade had armed security and the guard pulled their guns and called the police and they guys ran.
Or even walking into a deserted subway and throw some random cosplay dude Infront of a passing train, for some 'Elder God' or something. They'll never know that feeling.
OMFG YES! Me and my son are both fighting games fans and I tell him that all the time. The sound of entering the arcade you could hear the fighting games music and sounds really loud. It was so good and got you all in the mood!

NO. Look I love this klassic music more than the modern tunes but really? I feel like a lot of MK fans are being WAY too critical or biased towards the new gen music because there are plenty of good tunes from 11 (and X) once you give them a chance and not just expect more tunes that are reminiscent of the Arcade and 3D era days. With that said, just give us a jukebox mode for the next game (similar to games like KOF 15 and Smash Bros). If they're not gonna make tunes similar to these games, just give us old tunes to fight to if we don't care for the newer tunes.
