    Sir.....I have a doubt. Here we should calculate work done by external agent not by the electric force. Because, the definition of potential is the amount of work done by external agent to bring a unit positive charge into the electric field to a point. As the test charge moves from infinite distance to a point near by Q, the work done by external agent must be positive and work done by electric force must be negative. But according to your explanation work done by electric force is positive.

      Yes if you refer cbse text book they have given that in complex manner and direction of dx is towards infinity, but cant understand why

      Apply classical mechanics. Action reaction pair and you get same infinitesimal greater force than the electrostatic force. :)

      4:58 when sir says if I take one charge . What does it mean ?
      One charge means what. Charge is quantized you can take only 1 coulomb or 2 coulomb or 3 coulomb or 4 coulomb like this .but I don't understand what is one charge.
      When sir take one charge , can anyone tell how much coulomb he takes when takes one charge.
      Because charge is a property of matter .It is not any entity that u take 😅 how can you take one charge when it is not entity 😄 .
      u should tell the quantity how much u take when deal with charge.
      I m telling that u can't take one or two charge.
      You can only take charge in quantity i mean u can take charge like one coulomb 2 coulomb like this.
      😅😅😅Hey bhagwan koi samjhaaye agar kuch galat kaha ho 😅

    Sir ,1. if Electric field is given , potential can be uniquely written
    2. If potential is given , electric field can be uniquely written.
    Which is correct?

    A solid conducting sphere of radius 20.0 cm has a charge of 5.00 μC. If the potential is zero at infinity, find the value of the potential at a point 10.0 cm from the center of the sphere.

    Agar force qE hai toh work done ke liye force -qE Hoga toh force zero ho jayega na plzz sir clear my doubt🤔🤔🤔😥

    • @somethinguseful5255
      @somethinguseful5255 5 лет назад

      Akash soni ur right that the force applied is qe bt when we calculate work done we will also consider displacement’s direction and here it is opposite to direction of applied force
      That’s why it has nigative sign not bcz of nigative force
