The performer of "Mama" is a great actor who moves very creppy... he also has a unique body form, he was also a desfigured woman with a virus at the end of the movie "REC".
Everyone is freaking out like its so strange for mama to be played by a man all it is is prosthetics so it honestly doesn't matter which gender someone is if they're playing her it's a damn mask

Sometimes I wonder where people get those thoughts from....to make movies like this. Full of sadness, dispare and horror. It's like the directors had a life full it themselves.
There is some creepy parts that'll make you have goosebumps, but If I were to say, it's not as scary as everyone makes it out to be. Don't get me wrong, it's a very good movie, one of my favorites for the new horror genre, and it's definitely earned it's rights to be called "good horror", because it's a fictional story, but it's tapped into real life and the fictional parts are acted upon very well. Everyone in the movie has common sense, which is something you don't see everyday in the horror genre. It's more like a creepy but emotional type of horror. Something I definitely recommend to watch, and it's even better if you watch it with your best friend (which is what I did).

I'm not saying a girl couldn't have played this roll it's just not the first time I've seen them use a boy for a creepy skinny girl part...
