Hey Jerimiah! The Randal is Lucchese’s GY Last and GY’s are customizable. Lucchese offers custom sizing & will make that boot to measure of your foot. But you gotta come to Fort Worth Texas!!! The stockyards has a Custom Lucchese store offering narrow widths & will measure you up and make it to order.

Luchesses are one of the best boots out there and to me one of the most comfortable as well.

Beautiful lucchese boots. I have their limited Nick Fouque African water buffolo in black ($1299). Worth every penny. I rarely spend that amount, but they look so traditional with the 7 toe and 3 heel. Lucchese boots are timeless Craige.

I solved the problem with boots that vary in size/width. Two pair of socks will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Perspiration is whisked away and your feet are dry, this prevents freezing/sweating. Try it.

Oh my goodness! This is so cool! I have never heard of these boots. My son wants them for Christmas and I went on a week long search to find out what brand they were!! Unfortunately they are too pricey for me:/ this is absolutely amazing though! Whoever wins, you’re one lucky person!! And you deserve it!

Back in the day we called them Texas toes. Love them but are hard to find on commercial boots. Am partial to my full quill ostrich but absoutely love my anteaters.
Great video, I have a pair of Lucchese Ostrich boots I bought 33 years ago. Only thing wrong with them right now is they need to be re-soled. You can't find shoe shops anymore to re-sole shoes. Only thing I never cared for on the boots is the shaft was narrow. But once your foot is in it the narrow shaft fit easy under a pant legs.

Thanks for watching! They didn't bring up any custom options when I spoke with and mentioned I was B width so it didn't happen unfortunately. Would've love to experience these in the right size!
@@JeremiahCraig ahh yeah i talk to the ppl at my local lucchese a lot and there are so many things they can do! i was surprised they don't charge any extra for things like that. the way i found out is i that liked a style of boot that they were no longer producing & they didn't have any left in my size anywhere (plus they were a GY style and I always have a hard time fitting those for some reason). apparently they can do that w any current or previous style they have made (it probably doesn't apply to collabs).
also i learned that for women (and probably men if you were a smaller size than the original boot) if you had a pair of boots from your dad or grandfather passed down they can actually remake them down to your size for you! (that one i'm sure there is a fee for haha)
a lot of cool things they offer yet don't advertise for whatever reason.

I own two pairs of Lucchese, one full quill ostrich and one alligator. I can say the the full quill lucchese are by far my most comfortable boots
I too have the same. Actually have a Luke, which is ostrich....have this randalll...in round toe...haven't worn outside yet....and a Walter....hornback caiman (stiffest leather the offer). Ostrich is more comfy by FAR.

i agree with your judgement on the quills, i personally don’t really care for the look of ostrich because it reminds me too much of like little nipples all over but with this i agree that this much more subtle attractive, and that shaft is amazing almost makes you feel bad for covering it up with jeans

Boot makers need to wake up and offer "B" widths! There are a lot of us out here with narrow feet but I am not paying $1500.00 for a boot that doesn't fit only to fill them with insoles or wear thick athletic socks in July! I have flat feet with a low instep also! My feet just slosh around in regular size boots.

I know this is an older video but at 12:10 is it just me or is that a really sloppy edge on the right boot where the vamp meets the shaft? If so, that's pretty bad for a $1,600 boot and I would certainly send them back if so. I have seen one or two other reviews on here of the Randall and they have had QC issues as well. Either way, great video man.
Which conditioner would you recommend for bison leather boots? I’m scared to try bick 4 because I heard it darkens leather.
Bick 4 will darken distressed leathers but shouldn't darken a smooth bison. It will make the boot look a little darker as you're conditioning it but that's just cuz it's wet with the conditioner. When it dries it should normal. If you already have Bick 4 you can try to condition the pull tab or some other area that doesn't get seen very much to test it out. 12B for both on the well built older ones. Since they don't carry B widths anymore I'm most often 11D but sometimes I have to cheat on square toes and go 10.5D
