I'm not a gamer, but in a way I am, or more accurately, was. I'm 63 and played the game of "reality" according to the "rules" for 57 years. The old school rules stated that mating was generally assured along socioeconomic lines. Meaning that a man could find and keep a mate of similar background and potential. Society needed a steady supply of ditch diggers and a steady supply of research scientists. And, yes, it was a game. So, the question becomes why did men play the game?
The answer is that the rules made it highly likely that every man could "win" at the game. Winning being a wife, children, a home, and relative stability. Now, in the 21st century, the rules have changed so much that it is an entirely different "game". Men have gone from playing the "game" to being the "game" - meaning they are now nothing more than a game animal to be harvested.
Men are not stupid and have awakened to this new "game" of being "game". The only way for a game animal to survive the hunt is to remove itself from the hunting preserve - the domain of predatory women and courts. A logical retreat from danger. If you can't win the fight, then flight. It is very simple.
Men love games - be it the game of life or a video game. The rules of the game of life are now such that playing the game of life by the current rules more often than not results in a man's complete destruction, by conscious design of the new rules. Who wants to play a game with such low reward for such high risk? Only the stupid.
So, men choose to play a game they can win but also one with little reward, but also one where the penalty for failure is zero. Fear is a much greater motivator than pleasure. The rise of video game male culture is as logical and predicable as the sun rising in the east. What did society think we would do? Keep on playing a rigged game? It is no different from a frontiersman leaving the chaos of towns for the wilderness where is in charge of his own fate. Nothing is new under the sun.
For feminism and the New World Order to achieve their goals men couldn't change. They both are predicated on this. But they both have made the fatal mistake of myopic generals - they failed to account for their prey (Beta males) adapting to battlefield conditions or the environment of the game preserve.
Some men walk away from the socially rigged game to the golf course, or the fishing hole, or their beloved muscle car in the garage, etc. Video games are no different. They are just another choice of a logical game to escape the insanity. Cheers.

That might make sense to you in your head but the fact is that most of these male gamers would jump at the opportunity to get married even if it meant it would bring untold misfortune upon them at some undetermined point in the future. It's just that the dating scene is trending back toward polygyny and away from monogamy due to a confluence of factors, such as social media, wealth concentration, etc., and women are all trying to marry the same fucking guy, lol. Men and women both have unrealistic fantasies and this leads them and their progeny to ruin.

    • @arsenal4444
      @arsenal4444 2 года назад

@@-haclong2366 women don't produce anything. A very small % of them produce more than they consume as a net difference. Thus it doesn't matter what they do with their time, as there is no opportunity cost either way. For men however, they have the power to literally create and carry society, so controlling where they spend their time has a tangible outcome. That is your answer.

Thing is, people get extremely butt hurt when men do anything outside of working for others. Have a job? That money isn't for you. It's to be spent on women. And you see this when women burn through men's money in various ways. Men who deal with that are never called selfish, immature, etc. People who think video games are a waste of time, simply waste their time on other things that are just socially acceptable. No one shames the man who is paying for a child that is not his. No one shames the man who is struggling with debt while his woman runs up the credit card limits.

Men prefer video games to reality because video games give you feedback and reward your effort. Modern relationships just don't do this. I’ve constantly seen my effort have zero effect in my real life relationships. It’s easy to get a one night stand with a thot but women don’t seem to want to commit to anything and they act like feral witches. Nothing is working for young men. I will be honest, I’m growing to prefer video games over the real world myself. Its frustrating but what else is there to do?

Reminds me of a conversation I had with a group of acquaintances. We were talking about dating sims, a genre I hardly ever play but played a few (Imagine Mass Effect or Witcher 3 but with nothing but the relationship/conversation parts, the only goal being to get yourself into a relationship). At one point, someone asked "Why would you play a game like that instead of just going out and date." Without losing a beat, I answered: "Because with a dating sim, there's hope." One of the guys laughed out loud, others froze. All the women looked offended (not to my surprise). Of course it'd be easy to read "hope" as "hope of getting laid", but as you mention it in the video, it's more "hope of facing a situation in which you can have a meaningful relationship that isn't just filled with bitter resentment and shit tests" (more or less). Anyways, good video.

It's always been obvious to me, the appeal of video games. What seems to need explaining is why people care so much that men go away and get lost in them.
It's not that video games are inherently bad for men, their overuse only comes as a symptom of a much larger problem, that society is failing to offer men the things that games offer them. And it's not that men addicted to video games or who spend a lot of time with them are in some way neglecting reality because that's a self correcting problem, if you lose your job you can't afford to buy video games. It's not that there's this epidemic of men on the streets who got there because they played video games too much.
Actually what people are mad about is the fact that men can have jobs or even careers, support themselves and then go home at the end of the day and disappear from society into a game.
That men SHOULD do one thing rather than another is ideology, men are rationally looking at the options and going to the one that appeals to them more. If real life is unappealing then maybe society is responsible for that?
I've heard this before when I was younger, things like "you ought to be doing this" *wagging finger* or "you should focus on progress is real life". But the answer to that is "Why?". If what real life has to offer why work any harder than you absolutely have to. So you can struggle to get access to the very best women? The very idea of this makes a lot of men cringe.

Amen brother Frosty, stay frosty (no pun intended). My Mom used to give me shit about the"You could be doing better things with your time." lecture. The really funny thing is, I actually made it through college, did a stint in the military, and now at my current job I make about $70k doing tech support. She was real quick to deride playing video games, but actually playing video games is what got me interested in that age in computer technology, and what got me interested in studying the science behind it. This had the outcome of actually helping me to succeed later in life. Like I've said on other videos if people wanna give us shit for playing videogames, for all I care they can piss, spin, and sputter into the wind because their angry cries for attention fall on deaf ears.

Reality is a traumatic scene in life (quite like the jungle I reckon) because most people want things reality just can't sustain. No zebras hope when waking for the day that they'll soon be breakfast for the lion. I remember when I was young wanting a great job, a wife, and kids, with a big house and a white picket fence. After realizing that all that was a lie and that women are more imperfect than I would ever realize, I chose to get myself video games for life (PS4 pro recently) and just smash and dash like the Hulk, no marriage, no kids, no cohabitation, hence no nagging for life, but when you add video games, that's the cherry on top.
My life is freaking A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Female nature is pathological at this point and unsustainable in this era. I'm a bad boy gamer! One of my life dream/purpose got smashed by red pills and truth, but reality gave me a better one, that of the great Gatsby. At least I know my games will never divorce-rape me, or nag me to death into an early grave and I'll never spend my life spending on women as they consume money worse than a slut machine, my mistake slot machine or is it? It's for you to decide. Cheers 🍻 and game on 🎮🎧🖥🕹🖲

Man, I grew up in the 80s when Atari came out. Everyone and their mama was playing. It was fun. It was like watching a movie or any other form of entertainment. Most of the games had a narrative that was as impressive as any other medium. I think policy makers either want to force a boon from paying gamers or truly believe they can take away a time-suck for men to lead us back to working ourselves to death. They don't understand the current environment has killed that drive in men. We still succeed in our careers but many of us don't see a point to spread the wealth to a starter wife and 2.3 kids that we'll probably rarely see.

Videogame worlds are pretty simple to understand and move within, even the very complex ones among them.
In a videogame, you can quickly ascertain what actions are possible within the coding and just as quickly figure out the consequences of each of those actions to then logically navigate your way through the sequence of actions that will get you the final consequence you want, or at least the closest you can get.
If an NPC sees you taking something that isn't your's, they'll instantly know you're committing a crime, there's no factors like the onlooker not knowing you or who the item belongs to, how you act when taking the item doesn't sway anyone either way.
The simplicity of the coding limits you to only taking things that aren't yours when nobody is watching at all, as long as you don't want trouble.
A clever player can figure out the logic of the game world to an even more detailed degree, like knowing you can place buckets on the heads of NPCs to block their line of sight while you steal all their things, because putting a bucket over someone's head isn't considered suspicious or an aggression and NPCs aren't programmed to remove things blocking their vision.
You could take a mission to kill a person of a faction who's bad side you don't want to get on by placing an explosive container next to them and shooting it, killing them without having committed any acts of aggression against the person you needed to kill according to the game's logic.
While these are examples of videogames working by fairly alien logic to what the real world does, the logic is still very simple and with a little experience in game worlds, you'll find yourself recognizing it again and again going from title to title.
Videogame worlds are familiar, simple and easily understandable to those who immerse themselves in them more than just a little bit.
In contrast, the real world is a mess of inconsistencies and self-contradictions that makes navigating it harrowing, to put it mildly.

Progression. It's missing in real life. Interactions with women are becoming more and more uncertain and even dangerous. Employers are becoming more worried about "diversity" than merit. The government has turned into a tax and entitlement structure that punishes success and rewards failure.
You don't have to be a "failure" in real life to be attracted to video games because real life is filled with "systems" that punish success.

I know this video had NOTHING to do with feminism, but consider this for a moment...
Video games and other media offer men the chance to progress, climb a hierarchy, and self actualize by proxy, which are obviously all things incentivized by the male mind. However, it's arguable that the gaming landscape has also created a bit of a "mind trap" in which men's creative energies are siphoned off; a pressure release valve of sorts that might actually prevent the kind of existential discomfort that might normally compel a man to self actualize in the real world.
    Now, enter the feminism!
Despite all the theories about The Frankfurt School and the writings of radical feminists prevalent in our universities, most feminist are completely unaware of a more concerted effort to "defeat" men and claim the societal high ground (they do it subconsciously). As evidence I would like to point to the recent feminist incursion into the gaming community, especially on the developmental and critical fronts. Think about it: if you wanted to get the upper hand on men, close the wage gap, and out compete men, why would you systematically DESTROY the gaming industry that has diverted men's naturally competitive nature? They seek to destroy every bastion of the male spirit, every place we can run to for fulfillment, because they are following instinct rather than tactic. A sound tactic would be for feminist to eliminate masculinity from the world while LEAVING it intact in video games, therefor incentivizing men to cede the rest of society to them while they escaped into a virtual sanctuary of sorts. Instead, the feminists are going HARD after video games; burning down the sanctuary while also reviving us from the matrix where we can take appraisal of the sad state of affairs around us... hell, we might even be inclined to do something about it, since we have no escape anyway.
PS: Examine a similar trend in the Star Wars franchise; a series dedicated to the heroes journey that has enthralled the hearts and minds of young boys for about over 40 years. Those men are now being called "man babies" by the very producers of the new series, and in response they're starting to wake up from this heroic fantasy to take sight of their TRUE enemy for the first time.

It just strikes me as asinine when I examine the real life dynamics in contrast with this manufactured image... I wonder... does repeating a message enough times convince people it's true?

I pray they ban video games outright so we can finally get enough people to rock the boat. It's regrettable, I know, but everytime sjws and the powers that be double down I know we're one step closer to the disenfranchised masses getting off their asses and finally accomplishing something as a collective. I have too many friends in their late 20s/early 30s whose lives entirely revolve around gaming and it's impossible to get them to give a shit about anything constructive or that would improve their self knowledge and confidence.

Interesting… Humans have always had the somewhat unique
ability to shape the world around them to suit their needs, while many animals
are stuck with merely adapting to the world as a means of survival. Now, it’s
been awhile for western civilization since we’ve faced an existential crisis,
and as such the environment we sculpt around us isn’t so much a physical one
(like infrastructure) as much as it is an ideological one (like how many
hundreds of gender identities we can generate). This might explain the rise of
more postmodern modes of thinking, or backwards “Bolshevik thinking” as it were…
if we think it, we will make is so… but only because the world we shape is no
longer physical but ideological. In an agricultural society, or a society based
on tribal warfare, the notion that men and women are “equal” would be immediately
scoffed at by both men and women; the physical realities of keeping these
societies functional would demand we pay attention to empirical reality.
However, in a world in which we are safe and sheltered, have nice office jobs,
and affirmative action to even things out, why not entertain the idea of true
equality? You don’t suffer the consequences of ignoring reality as you would in
the tribal society, and plus, you might get your pe pe touched by saying something
socially progressive. (or so they think)
      PS: WTF with my format?

I used to be a gamer and hated the real world. But it got to a point where every game ended.
Every character I built got to a point where I couldn't build anymore, and I had to start all over.
And then it dawned on me: Live my actual life as a video game, but with only one life. No respawns.
Since then I've flourished, on every level. I can't get into video games now to save my soul. I break down every aspect of my life as if a skill sets to be leveled up.
Some more like GTA, some more like WOW.
I know it probably sounds crazy.
But I've separated myself so far from the pack in life, achievement wise, that strangers stare and friends act like I must have gotten a magical bump on the head.

Video games are generally fun, but most importantly, consistent. At least good (or even passable) games are. Good games reward the player for their investment of time with visuals, audio, mechanics, lore, etc. that come together to form a cohesive experience. If the player is observant of the game's rules and such, they'll be rewarded for that too. Video games stories are bullshit in the same way TV shows are bullshit, but they reward you for caring about their 'bullshit'.
Women, generally speaking, are the complete opposite. They can be fun, but are expensive and shockingly unreliable. Men can get punished for making 'incorrect' observations and trying something to approach a woman that they saw worked wonders for someone else, without knowing that they don't even know the 'context' to the 'tricks' they see. This really tends to punish socially awkward men more often than not, especially when you consider that society will gas-light you if you start to complain about certain patterns of behaviour from women you notice. It's like women are pissing on your leg, but when you say something, society tells you it's just raining. Also: *women will literally give you BAD advice when it comes to dating.* Gamers don't like cryptic video games, and men don't like cryptic women. (See what I did there?)
With women, I have been punished in relationships for being open about my feelings. For showing any vulnerability. I understand why video game addiction is a serious problem for some people, but it's definitely not something that surprises me when it occurs.

If your "self" is a passenger in the meat wagon operated by various forces, why would you value material reality over imagined realities? All the same to You, who is the side effect of the complexity your corpse requires to propagate its pattern. Better, even, as you have more direct involvement. Also being a warlord in a world where you can't feel pain is objectively superior to being a supermarket clerk.

That's absolutely absurd, I don't need electricity or chocolate or vaccines to dream. I can lay on the ground under a tree and dream even sweeter than in my apartment in a European capital.
Video games are just a magic wand, an amplification tool for teaming, for creating imagined realities. And since the self isn't the real master of the world of meat, might as well exist occasionally in the imagined reality, rather than the material one. As for the system and all that anarchy talk, I don't want the stress and pain associated with it. I want to be left alone to dream, not to be involved with actual pain and suffering and the other curses of the material reality.

    • @TheInsomniaddict

Your ability to dream under a tree comes with quite a few expenses attached, assuming you do not want to be consumed by wolves or a bear while dreaming. Likewise if you want to continue dreaming under trees you still require either the benefit of other people's work or your own.
If by dreaming you mean death, then feel free. The associated costs are much less as long as you don't have a family, friends, or dependents.

I'm sure it depends on what you're coding and it has its dull moments, but when you're making or modding games you get to play God and create entire worlds from scratch. Always feels like a real accomplishment after writing a clean efficient modular piece of code and seeing it work in-game, it's like solving an intricate puzzle. I'd highly recommend trying it, but it's very difficult and time-consuming to learn on your own.

It is interesting to think about what escapism is in the context of games. Storytelling has progressed massively in the last decade or so with games like Life is Strange, Bioshock and the last of us that establish different connections to the user as opposed to something like Mario and sonic platform games. This leads us onto what role does immersion play in escapism?
Take a look at the backlash from the Battlefield 5 trailer where the developers can’t seem to make their mind up if they want to try and change history or make an alternative one and you can see people are pissed. There’s even a quote from a dev who can’t seem to explain to his daughter that women were not fighting in WW2 outside of a few executions.

I just wanted to comment on what you said about a guy with high SMV most probably not spending too much time playing video games. While this is true in most cases I find myself using video games as a distraction (although sparingly) despite having what most people consider to be a "good life". I am young, relatively wealthy, objectively good looking, fairly intelligent, grew up in New York City and now live in Hawaii. I have a well paying job and a close circle of friends. However despite all this there is the great void you used to talk about. I have never fully recovered from swallowing the red pill and post red-pill malaise affects me even more than a half decade after discovering your videos. While I am grateful to biology, where I grew up, and my parents for giving me the opportunities they did I still suffer from the realization and internalization that romantic love is a lie. Any man with low SMV living in bumfuck Arkansas reading this please understand that even those of us who most men think they cannot relate to have problems as well. Depression and anhedonia affect handsome men the same way they do the "less desirable". Having meaningless sex lost it's value for me years ago. When I finally fully understood and accepted that women cannot truly love men the way we love them it changed me permanently. I can never go back to the blue pill man I was and I fear living with the red pill will ultimately be too much of a burden to bear, i hope I am wrong and can find a way to come to terms with reality in a healthy way.

Really good video here, I think this one deserves a follow-up delving a bit more into it all, as I personally think that games themselves, such as hide and seek, or "thumb-wars" are in the same bracket, "Video" games are a natural evolution from our scientific advancements and the main reason people will judge you in todays world for games, (less now than say, 20 years ago) is they just see that aspect - the video part. To them, why waste time on a "video" - you should be interacting with people - yet they fail to acknowledge to positives and negatives of each. I think games at least for men, are so intriguing because choices have no consequences - if you fail a mission, or "game over" you simply restart and try again, no nagging, no being laughed at, you just continue and improve to get ahead of where you were before... Men know that society punishes them, we do it to each other all the time. Men are our biggest supporters, and our biggest critique, it's just a man will put a woman ahead of another man, before a man puts another man ahead of a woman - and so we are here, men have chosen by and large to escape into games, and now women are going after it to force us back to having no choice but to deal with them and this shity society that offers nothing for us...

When you are rich it is easier to fry your dopamine levels because the highs come quick and leave quick, there is nothing but to go down since you will experience it all faster than anybody else. It goes far beyond than just being able to achieve, something deeper that hits male brains that attaches them to games, it's the representation of your will onto that world, you making the decisions and actions and affecting it. It is not a passive experience like watching a movie. It's experiencing new worlds, the challenge of conquering, etc.

I believe that VR will never 100% replace televisions, or the idea of a screen, because the immersion is too intense for people to want to play video games like that all the time. But the television could potentially be replaced with a projection of a screen inside of an affordable headset. I think that high definition headsets that project giant screens will eventually kill IMAX and movie theaters completely, because they will be able to replicate that same exact experience from home and with all the comforts of home, and the theaters will not be able to compete with it, especially when Hollywood buckles from theaters closing down due to these headsets, and starts releasing videos to these headsets at the same time as theaters. I believe this is almost guaranteed to happen in the future, once the tech is advanced enough, the price is low enough, and people start catching on.

Firstly, only women, children, and dogs are loved unconditionally, therefore a man not producing anything for anyone else but their own personal enjoyment is seen as a bad thing, secondly, people simply just don't understand. I'm no longer hopping up and down on Mario for 16 hours straight, I now have voice chat, I meet thousands of people every day, some good, some bad, I play the most realistic competitive shooters of our time, this is the closest to a battlefield and war I can come to without actually murdering someone for some old rich politicians gain. Not to sound like a Terry, but if a swat team (or group of felonious baddies) kicked in my door they'd be in for a rude awakening when they see peep holes shot out and rotates from the bathroom to the master bedroom, headglitches, and choke points, id be strafing, dolphin diving, g sliding, crouch spamming, drop shotting, every single one of them down to the last man, and 360 no scope the last one for the killcam 😄. Just a joke, anyways, if I said that in a corporate office space at work I'd be carrying a box of staplers and pens out the very next day, but I've had that conversation numerous times with buddies online, and thats all it is, fun engagement with other like minded individuals who don't bend to social pressure. I have also dated and done over 30 cold approaches in addition to onkine dating. I had 1 girlfriend and 1 hookup. None of it was worth what I got out of it, and I had it relatively easy. I didn't get cheated on. I didn't lose half my life and wealth.
Videogames are way more enjoyable than 99% of women. If I could be a happily married husband and father then I would rarely play videogames. If I could be an explorer, I wouldn't play games at all. Unfortunately marriageable women are incredibly rare, just as rare as unexplored, unowned land.

I am quickly rising in skill and notoriety in an extremely competitive online gaming community (mechwarrior online), and I see no other way to let out my competitive urges as well, and I see no other way to achieve relative competitive success... it’s gotten to the point where I’m being told I should make videos or stream, which I hesitate to do as that’s not why I do it, but where else in this society am I going to get this kind of achievement? No other social activity I can think of... and this game’s community is hard core, tight knit, not too big and not too small.

I think the only counter to this is that providing men with the tools to deconstruct and understand women, and other men, helps them find their place in the world outside of progressing in the dominance hierarchy. Its hard to tell though, I have done so, but I think the life I have lived so far is an extreme rarity. I had a 100k job at 19 through nepotism that showed me in 5 months that their is such a thing as too much money. I have the opportunity to move from one side of the world to the other when I see fit due to dual citizenship. But until I began to deconstruct the observable world and understand how and why things are the way they are, I never had the resolve to carve a path in life. Not for money, not for sex, but for self fulfillment. And I think all men from all walks of life could see things the same if given the tools stated above.

The Distributist I read Roger Scuton's book "Soul of the World" where he was arguing that the religious/transcendent is compatible with a scientific worldview and should have a place in modern life. All I got from it was "how do you explain muh feels when I listen to the opera and sheeit?"
I really want to not be a scientific materialist / nihilist but nothing I've read so far has convinced me otherwise. Any book recommendations?
Like I see a religious worldview's utility... as a tool for social organization... especially for inculcating good values into the proles... like how Burke and De Maistre praised religious orthodoxy and hierarchies makes sense to me.. but I just can't bring myself to earnestly believe in it.

    • @TheDistributist
      @TheDistributist 6 лет назад

Perhaps you are going about it the wrong way? You seem to be tackling Scruton's (and other theists) arguments as if you new they were subjective, motivated, and sloppy before you even entertain their arguments. I will offer this: There is NO positive statement of the universe that can sustain an unlimited amount of scrutiny.

“Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” See I just can't get behind that. That's bad advice in almost every other area of day-to-day life.
I understand the idea that beliefs and traditions propagate themselves through the generations because they work, even if I as an individual don't have the knowledge or intelligence to explain them in rational terms (Chesterton's Fence as you're fond of calling it)... but the fact that I'm aware of THAT justification only makes me see the value of Christianity, I'm still one step removed from believing it earnestly. It's a type of meta-awareness that I just can't shake.
I sometimes think I would've been happier if I were born a medieval peasant and didn't have all these choices and sufficient education to scrutinize religion, politics, red pill notions of gender relations... without this knowledge I'd be living in a Zen state, connected with something greater than myself instead of endlessly churning things over in my own head as an isolated individual. I'd probably be happier tbh.
Maybe I should just turn to Buddhism since the Buddha's teachings were more practical techniques to achieve the Zen state, and don't rely truth claims about the universe lol.

Path of Exile gives me such a rewarding experience it's virtually unparalleled. I sit here now, after playing it for two hours or so - still unsure of what build I want to play next. I play in Solo Self Found, a mode that imposes a challenge on me. I can't play with other people, and I can't trade with them - I can only use items that I find myself through drops. This means I have to cobble together whatever I can - AND be proficient at it. It's just... fun.

I stopped playing video games sometime around age 16, simply because I am prone to addiction. I'm an undesirable neckbeard and I have no friends, the only social interactions I have are with my children, one of my children recently started showing interest in Microsoft's Minecraft, as he's only a toddler he doesn't really play it well so I play it, when the game was new I paid very little attention to it, but now I found myself being addicted to it, so I stopped touching the laptop as I don't want to get addicted to video games ever again, despite being well over a decade after I was a gamer, I know that with the drop of a hat I can fall into video game addiction. I really hope that I will be able to keep my children from this addiction.

Oh, I wouldn't say that guys prefer video games over reality, I'd prefer to go cycling over hanging out at home any day, but if the weather sucks or you don't have the time/cash etc. to go to the gym and play a game of badminton, volleyball, or go swimming or just go and do SOMETHING, anything with a bunch of other people or friends... well, you can sit down and play a game, just like people used to sit and watch 3 hours of TV every evening, people now play video games because they can interact with others immediately rather than get in the car/bus and go somewhere and pay money to do so. Most of my friends are always too 'busy' to do stuff with me, so... what then? I can only go hiking, cycling, play badminton, martial arts, go see a movie, etc. so many times all by myself before I'm just like, "screw it, might as well stay home, ho hum..." and catch up on some shows or play a game.

I don’t like to give my philosophical gems but this resonates with me because I stopped playing games in general years ago. But I still do play a sports game for 30 minutes on my phone. I have no games on my consoles anymore. But the idea I think of the fantasy resonates more with the archetype of Pygmalion, who carves a woman of his own desire into white stone, and so impressive the beauty that Aphrodite turns it into a real woman. The concept always amazed me, and one day my Anima opened my eyes to understand that Galatea, which was the name of the statue is the life that all men desire to have. In a sense, she is not really a woman, she is fortune or Fortuna incarnate in the life of a man. The beautiful life. The life all men desire. And I remember when I started progressing and seeing achievements in my life, working in the gym, learning new language, learning, studying, even movies became boring. To this day, I taught myself Computer 💻 science and I am beginning to study Calculus. I think the reason I don’t play it’s because, I look at skills and life as a video game, and I feel like a character in a game. But in order to embody that form of self in a way you see yourself winning, you have to be make yourself as the character in a game, by becoming an real avatar. In a sense, what I mean is take Gerald of Rivia. He was one of the few who survived the trials to become a Witcher. A painful and very arduous process. So when you play the game, you don’t play the part where he had to go through that. That is the fallacy in video games. But what I learned from experience is you have to build your character in such a way that the things of life that seem hard are actually now almost easy , or it’s as if life has become a little mitigated. Personally for me, I could not live a day without learning something. I have spent thousands of hours studying, and learning that it feels like second nature. With that I built resilience, perseverance, focus, willpower, self control and discipline, to a point that I have little to no lag when it comes to procrastination. It’s basically having a Philosoher’s Stone. The hard part is not getting the stone, it’s making one yourself. And the ability to turn lead into gold is in a sense the ability to make life easier. And having acquire all those inner traits has made me achieve more in life quicker and with ease. It’s almost as if it’s a video game.
In a way, in life you always have things you have to deal with, but being stoic, having wisdom, making yourself an important pillar to society and community, finding fulfillment, doing the things that the majority wont, is what keeps you on top.
So the idea of all the heroes in mythology, in movies and in video games are to me, a life I want to replicate and I believe I can replicate. People rarely ever see that because either reality is too hard and they desire not to change and overcome it, or because they are not awakened enough to see it right in front of them.
But Galatea is there. And by the ways, I am not a Chad, in fact the opposite. And one thing I have noticed in my pursuit of happiness, to manifest my own destiny is that, the reason why Chads and too 10% of men get women is because life is easier for them. They have something that makes life a little more easier. Is the simulation glitched, yes it is. Thanks to the feminine imperative ebbing out insane social constructs. But nothing is more satisfying to a man than the man becoming a hero in his own story. But the point of being a hero is to be able to live in the abyss. And one of the most critical failures of black pill truth seekers that I have seen is, they go into the abyss and pitch their tent there. If you are enlightened and awakened, it means figuratively, you are not in the dark, but you can see everything for what it is. For example, if your hero’s journey does not fit the narrative toxic world you live in. Adjust it. I am unfortunate, but I have my own Galatea to live. While we decline, best believe I will be enjoying every minute of it.

First of all, I appreciate the video. I'm going to try refraining myself from spilling all my insides on the internet. I grew up in 90's america, it is quite different than what it is today. I wouldn't say that my childhood was terrible but it wasn't without conflict either. My mother committed suicided when I was 2 years old, and because my father felt he had a hand in her death lied to me for years. My father whom also had a rough past, looked for solace in women and ended up marrying a narcissistic single mother of one. I had an uncaring buffoon of a father and crazy self serving step mother. It only took a year or so for modern feminisms to take hold of my step mother and my family ended in a divorce. Because of my Korean upbringing I was suppose to respect my parents and follow orders. My father couldn't handle living by himself and moved back to Korea, while I remain in the US, illegal and broken. Despite all this chaos, I had something no one could ever take away from me, that was my video games. I had gotten my hands on snes and ever since then I was hooked on games. It was a place where I can be left alone from all the life's B.S. I think Mr.Thinking-Ape nailed it on the head when he said games that gives the player "feelings of accomplishment" it does much better in sales, which is absolutely true. Most of the games I gravitate to are RPG's, cause once you mass enough money or power, you feel like "the boss" someone who deserves respect and adulation. It is bit sad when you think about it but at least I'm not zombified by alcohol or drugs. Just sayin'...

    • @devilsoffspring5519
      @devilsoffspring5519 4 года назад +2

Because they just don't grow up with it. Why fight a little dude on a screen or drive around in a virtual tank? None of those things make you more popular or more fashionable, so relatively few young girls get really into it.
Guys, by and large, are built by nature to want to do things--to develop skills and pursue goals. Guys grow up dreaming of a life based on well-developed abilities, competence, and the pursuit of adventure.
Females primarily grow up pursuing popularity and have a desire to be seen as fashionable. Same species, but two entirely different types of minds with very different developmental pathways. Sure, there are some guys that really are *all* about their clothes and what other people think of their image/fashion sense, and there are some girls that grow up getting into motorbikes, guns, or other classically "guy stuff", it's just a lot less likely to occur.

It's not saying anything new, but basically the things we're instinctually wired to enjoy aren't on offer in the modern society. Adventure and discovery are out, independence is out, praise, status and respect are often out, genuine brotherhood is out, and being in control of your own destiny is out. It's all a case of "here's cubicle 7349, here are the rules, now behave yourself and do your job". Or the ugly alternatives - such as the entrepreneurship hustle - which is really just the exact same set of circumstances except with you attempting to be the one on top of others instead of beneath them. It's an exception to the rule when we get to align our joys with our living in this day and age - 5% of men or less I'd wager.
Unsurprisingly games have converged on those unfulfilled urges.

Older 50's a boomer perhaps. Younger 50's a gen Xer. Gen X was the first gen that grew up playing video games. I started out in the late 70's-early 80's with pre 8 bit and 8 bit games. Games still call me once a a blue moon (Witcher 3; No Man's Sky; Red Dead Redemption II to mention some). But I am not as compelled as I was back in the day to have extensive hours non stop in a game (because career and adulting among other reasons). Another skill I acquired back then was computing. I learned BASIC in the 80's and built my first rig in the 90's. I recently used those skills to build first time mini PC's for my biz and for personal use.
