Kannada is the language spoken in Bangalore, Don't say aloud that people here speak tamil people get really angry about language here.
Yeah I switched off at that point
@@KN-gq2wn Oops!
Yes thanks for letting me know
Kannadigas are very sensitive for some reason. Very insecure about their language. You won't see such reactions in Tamil Nadu if you speak kannada there
We are also feel same in Mangalore we part of Tulu nadu occupation by kannidigas u people don't learn Tulu impose kannada on us@@iamrobot396
Dear Andy, just FYI the official language is Kannada. Please dont say out loud that Tamil is the language used there as some people might get really pissed off. Other than that, please enjoy some local delicacies such as South Indian Andhra meals, Hydrrabadi Biryani in Nagarjuna/ Meghana's etc
Thanks for the warning. I have learned my lesson now with that haha!
You should visit following places in Karnataka: Bangalore, Mysore, Coorg, Sakleshpura and Chikkamagalur. The weather is awesome throughout the year and you will see green hills, waterfalls, coffee plantations and cool Hindu temples.
@@webabhi thanks for the suggestions! I didn’t have much time but I will be back to do everything you suggested. Especially keen on visited coorg
Best suggestion
2:34 Kannada is the language spoken in Bengaluru not tamil
Bengaluru is Capital of Karnataka..
Kannada is the official language
Karnataka .
Bengaluru have more Kannadigas.
Other state people come here for job and education once thiy earn money they will go their native places..
So that's why there is more floating population in Bengaluru..
But percentage of Kannadigas remains same ..
Thank you! I learned my lesson haha
@@aroundtheglobeandy ❤️
They speak Kannada in Bangalore
Yes thank you, I have since learned that
Very nice to see you going around Bengaluru , welcome. Be safe and enjoy the days

@@ajithbjk-ws3ku thank you Ajith! Bengaluru is truly a wonderful city

Wow. Thank you for saying that!
Such a positive video starting up my day! And a video of my Home Town. Subbed Ya right away!
Thank you and thanks for watching! Beautiful place to grow up :)
really glad that u visited a quieter city like Bengaluru, instead of something chaotic such as Mumbai, delhi etc. Bengaluru is very green, lot of friendly locals ,try booking a uber instead of going around asking prices, bcs these people think ,all white people are rich ,which is obviously not true, most travellers want to have an affordable experience,as far as possible in ur journey cover southern ,western and north eastern part of India,ur opinion about India will change. At the end of ur journey u can visit the textbook India which is talked about in the west ,which is northern India, visit Mumbai and Delhi at the end, otherwise u will hate ur experience. These r some tips coming from someone who keeps visiting India for work in different cities , and this is what I have observed
Mumbia is not chaotic
Southern Mumbai is very quite.
When talking about south these people mention that they think you are rich. What does that mean. While for north they say scammers. 😂
@@Mann-je6my I agree scammers r there in every city ,but it is not as evident like Delhi or mumbai, instead of these travellers experiencing that ,let them travel to a more peaceful place having a lot of natural beauty like north east.not saying they shud avoid Delhi and Mumbai, cause Delhi and Mumbai have some of the most historic monuments, just saying these travellers shud do more research not visit the general "touristy " places
@@user-yt4ji7wq4x Yes I agree with that. Now the people think that foreigners are now just coming on daily basis so let's scam them. But bro what can we do. The popular places have the best and easy travel areas for the foreigners, they can't travel to less known places alone. I think they should plan about it. And always travel to these places with a well known tour guide or friend with them
Nothing wrong with the street food if eaten at the right spots . You can try Thindi beedi ( food street ) at VV Puram … For good biryani you can eat at Nagarjuna… or Meghana Biryani , they are available in most localities.
Good to know. Thank you for recommending Thindi beedi! Looks like an amazing street
Hope the “coffee donation” helps a little. Keep up the great work & videos! I’m a fan for sure! 👍
Thank you so much Rob!!! Thank you for the support, I really appreciate it! 😁🤝🙏
Hey Andy! i would recommend you to use the BMTC busses and the metro instead of auto/cabs as they are quite expensive ( specially for foreigners ) , bengaluru has the 2nd biggest metro system in the country and one of the best bus system in the country , therefore there are cheap , fast and easy to use over autos which charge you double rates.
@@chifuyu-fq3kn I usually prefer metro if I stay somewhere a while, but I was a bit too lazy to figure everything out that day haha
Welcome to in any visit to North East India and Kerala kochi these playes beautiful ❤

Looks like you're new in vlog making. Hope you have a wonderful future on RUclips and you become popular. Welcome to Bengaluru.
Yes I just started (you can probably tell! haha). And thank you so much for those kind wishes
You can visit eateries like CTR, MTR, Brahmins Coffee Bar, SLV, Rameshwaram Cafe. You get South Indian food in all these places, but none tastes the same as the other.
Thanks for the recs. If you have time to go to only 1 of them, which one would you go to??
@@aroundtheglobeandy Two of I may choose, Dosa at CTR and Idli Vada at Brahmins Coffee Bar

Keep growing up ahead according to everything by many develops.
Yes everyone spoke English in Bangalore!
Also, Meghalaya looks beautiful! I hope to visit NE India on my next trip. Nagaland, Assam, and maybe meghalaya
Yeah there are a lot of restrictions on photography and videography because recently some people have complained about privacy in these areas.
Ahhh I see that makes sense
U should visit ladakh Leh, kashmir, Shimla, Manali, Rishikesh, udaipur, jodhpur, Jaisalmer, pushkar, Goa, Kerala, Bangalore, hampi, meghalaya, Darjeeling, Sikkim, Andaman and Nicobar islands in India 🇮🇳❤️

The rickshaw guys get commission to take a tourist there, that's why it costs ₹30.
It's best to use the ola and uber together to compare the price and use the one that costs less
It was weird because the store owner kick me out right away after I said I was only looking and not really buying
@@aroundtheglobeandy yeah probably best to just say i'm exploring not sure what i want, instead of saying not really buying. They shouldn't kick you out regardless but who knows maybe the owner was pissed that the rickshaw guys keep sending customers without even asking them if they're looking for those items that the store sells.
Sir really respect you respecting the signs, i learnt something from you.

Check the prices in ola and Uber and ask them the price account to that...I don't think for 30rs anyone will drop you in rikshaw

what ?! arguing for Rs.30? Oh man, it is not 30$ .....it is about 36 cents he is asking for..........Bro, you are treating him like a beggar!
I didn’t know the cost of the ride so I just assumed he was trying to make me pay a lot haha so I just went low on the negotiation
@@aroundtheglobeandy You can safely assume Rs.30 per kilometer in metro cities. In most of the cities, these Auto buggers don't use Auto-meters. You have Google Maps to measure the distance between two places. It will save a lot of hassle. The minimum amount irrespective of distance is Rs.80. This calculation will be ok anywhere in Southern India.

Thank you! I will try to make sure to speak only facts! I like what you said: "organic therefore chaotic".
@@aroundtheglobeandy yes one can’t impose too much man made order of clearing out pavements of extra stuff from houses and businesses or even round the clock maintainance of streets because india is more “organic” like leafs have their own way of structuring when developing (we don’t have squares and stacks and box hedges and such) All planning gets overridden by growth and participation (people participate at their own levels-sometimes with bad behaviour and chaos) The state and elites do not have capacity or the stomach to regulate with a very heavy hand
