I’ve heard many characters from movies and TV shows say that exact same line, but none of them delivered it quite as badass as Optimus

People say that this version of Optimus isn't completely accurate to how he is in the older shows... but god damn this version definitely cemented the character as a certified badass to a whole generation.
The g1 optimus, fought a war and it doesn't really show, but bayverse optimus shows he's survived countless wars and has emerged like a boss.

when i was a kid everytime i watched The Transformers movie with my dad i used to liked Optimus Prime, now i'm an adult rewatching their movies again and Optimus Prime is always and still one of my favorites Autobots ❤
The fact that even though Optimus has a bullet, blade, and claw wound from just about every transformer movie made, he still stays in peak fighting condition. That's the definition of a true hero
That's the definition of a bumper to bumper warranty.
I love how Optimus prime is a hopeful, Boy Scout-like, optimistic symbol of peace while at the same time being able to go into a bloodthirsty warrior mode, even willing to kill if he has to.

The design team worked flawlessly with the sound team. The transformations, the battles, the atmosphere is awe-inspiring.
Say what you want about the script but it is undeniable that the characters had all the love poured into making them as best as could be.
What a fantastic team behind it all. Really brought the set to life in ways I love.
The trilogy was a cinema experience like none other. I could kinda hang onto to the plot but T4 onwards really showed how little Bay cared for these amazing characters. Such a shame to lose such an awesome effort but the Bee series is looking to rectify what was lost while building on what is great.
I'm always excited for the new.

Optimus Prime is the Captain America of Transformer Series, a righteous leader, ready to sacrifice himself for the greater good of his race and humans, excellent character development anyone could expect, freaking entry in Revenge of the fallen, dropping right out of C17 Globemaster looks pretty ingenious

When Optimus transforms it gives me chills. His battle moments are epic, but something as simple as the wheels locking when he stands up is so awesome to me. The revving up to a sudden stop meaning he’s ready to fight.

No matter what, every damn time I see the first Transformation of optimus in the first one with the GLORIOUS soundtrack even to this day still get goose bumps watching it. It's so damn cool. So detailed!

People give Optimus criticism for being to violent in the films but just because he’s a nice guy doesn’t mean he won’t fight back against evil and avenge his friends plus half of them are dead I think even the nicest guys would lose it if all their friends die, like

I love the part where prime both literally and figuratively single handedly beats Megatron. As well as his bad ass speech when the autobots return after the rocket in dotm
Optimus Prime is just the best fictional hero ever. Hes kind, brave, humble, stoic, compassionate, strong, gentle, intelligent and wise. He is never afraid to fight for those weaker than he and he never gets cocky or arrogant. He is morally incorruptible and he cares for his troops as friends and as family.
Name me one fictional character other than Uncle Sam who meets all those descriptions. Ill bet you cant.

The line "We do...more than you know" meant so much more to the film than anyone realises. "Thank you Sam, for saving my life". Had Sam not revived Optimus...the franchise could've ended.

The reason that the forest battle is so good, is because it shows the true power of Optimus, and that's the first big battle between an autobot and decepticons with no human interference

You know what I find amazing Peter Cullen contiued after the series took off he stayed and voice acted Optimus Prime throughout all the movies and Tv series. Even if all of the moives werent that good. I really like how he showed his dedication to being prime showing how much he relates to the character much he enjoys being the character.
To you Peter Cullen I really thank you for giving us a character we can all support and relate to during tough times you've created an amazing character and I wanted to say thank you.

Every time I see old videos of transformers and I see Optimus Prime fight, I always tear up. I can’t help it. As long as Prime is up and around he will never give up, and his will to keep going is enough to just bring you to tears.
