In France, every pharmacist is required to learn mushrooms. Which means it is safe to pick anything, and bring it to your local pharmacy. Where you will be told what is deadly, what is safe, and just what you've got.
Incredible idea, no?
As a pharmacist in the Philippines , I would love to learn that skill set ❤
I love foraging I had a dream about finding mushrooms yesterday 😂 ❤
I had a dream like that a week ago, and that very day, I found a fabulous birch log covered with oyster mushrooms. I harvested nine pounds and left half of it there.
Brought in sixteen pounds of lobster mushrooms today. It was like striking gold. I'm over the moon...
I harvested sixteen pounds of lobster mushrooms today. My dehydrator is full. Took me hours to deal with it, but I'm over the moon...

This restaurant in L.A. has some crap food and overpriced everything but man they got one thing right. Their portobello fries are BOMB!!
Some delicious looking mushrooms 🤤
I have a question: How did people identify which mushrooms were edible and which were not? And for the ones that are unknown, how do you find out? Instead of you know, being a guinea pig?
I believe beefsteak is one of a few that can be eat raw,,is that correct?
Funny you mentioned it in the video...lol,,I posted before watching..oops
hm, i may not ever use this know irl but maybe in zomboid with the odd mod
I love this and I love this for you, but your mispronunciation of ‘hepatica’ made me want to punch my screen. 😂 (Just jokes, just jokes!) All joking aside, thank you for the video. I currently live in Michigan, which has somewhere around 2,500 species of mushroom, the majority being edible. Would love to get into the mushroom foraging scene up here (recently relocated here from Alabama). Glad to see more mushroom foraging (and more foraging in general) online. I feel so seen! ❤

I don’t like eating mushrooms but I love how unique they look, but they terrify me with how poisons some are and it’s scary how people know exactly what kind they are and if they’re toxic
I do a lot of foraging, but I've always been afraid of foraging for mushrooms. I live in the northwestern rain forest, which is full of them. I decided this year I couldn't stand it anymore. I have to learn them. There are only about a 1/2 dozen I'm confident in harvesting, but there is a mycological society event tomorrow and I'm going to join our local chapter. I don't dare rely on the internet or photographs. The only way to truly learn is to have someone who knows what they're doing take you in the field and help you identify absolutely 1000% or who will ID your harvest absolutely before you eat them. Once you get that confidence, it's exhilarating to find what you're looking for or come upon abundance unexpectedly.
you're not normal bruh
Very interesting
