Have not watched a second of this yet but im calling it's tropy
You right about that N Tropy players seem to have a thing for vengeance and will annoyingly chase you down, which can be taken advantage of since that short sightedness where one team member can lure one of them away from other players allowing them to score. I've seen some of the same behavior for Brio and Coco players as well.

@@bobafett4265 That doesn't make any sense though. If you lure her away then the game is now 3 vs 3 instead of 4 vs 4. It won't make a difference if she chases you round the whole game
@@EthanConrad123if you lure her away and you're the weakest member of the team, it is a good strategy.
Keep in mind when playing Coco that you have the most insane movement in the game if you use the 'X+ R2' ability :D
Same with crash with the combination of triple spin and slide spin 😉
Cortex is nasty with the Animal shot it could stop Ripper roo from camping the Bank for only Abit

I mean, I guess that's in-character for Female N. Tropy, being a ruthless tyrant. So it's no wonder she's relentless and never leaves you alone.
Dude the reason you lost because you didn't drop your wumpa at the bonus bank after you got the relics for that. The bonus bank will double the amounts of the fruits and will increase your chances of victory if your teammates bank their wumpa at the bonus bank. By the way ripper roo will be available for early access so you better do the challenges if you want to unlock him.
Also he never quantum wall jumps which is why he keeps getting caught

N tropy is definitely the most annoying character. However Cortex can be even worse depending on who is playing him.
Don't even talk about Coco
Cortex can counter every character and also if he hits you with his animal transform thingy he wont stop chasing you until youre dead
The issue in competitive mode in Crash Team Rumble is that sometimes, there would be bot players on your team or the opponent’s team. I hope there would be characters balances to make the game fun.
When there are bots on your team play hard as a blocker with a versatile character like Cortex or Coco, I managed to almost win 1900-2000 against 3 humans with a team of 3 bots
Not to mention the Match Making is pretty crap all things considered, you have a team high leveled players vs a Noob or two with bots filling in the rest of team, who's gonna likely win this scenario, yeah it happens more times than you would think.
Bots are actually more useful than humans half the time. They have one mode which is collect stuff.

bro, i play coco too. When a player is chasing you like N Tropy in the beginning, dont forget Cocos wall... she leaves it behind her, it will bounce back the chaser and damage them. They usually get annoyed and stop chasing you
Less than few seconds in and I already feel for you dude. Blockers tend to chase you halfway around the field even if you don't have any wumpa left.
I completely understand how you feel about the N. Tropy players. It's super annoying to play against her since she doesn't seem to have any good counters.
It's annoying if you don't know how to play the game.
Dude has a direct counter to it that being the Coco's wall and doesn't use it all.
Cortex uses a gun and can disable her by transforming her into an animal
Crash can belly flop or Slide spin her away
The counters are there, you just gotta use them

Hey Lewis! At 12:50, you can capture the point as a beach ball, you can see on the video that it turn blue for your teammate. However, for you, because of the circumference of the ball and the aerial pov, you couldn't see it. Cheers, getting better! You make me wanna start the game!
0:53 For me it’s the exact opposite, n trophy would camp enemy spawn points 95% of the time, while dingo feels like they target you if you ended up killing them.
This is often hard to watch due to Lewis missing active power ups and having full wumpa and relics and still trys to collect them, he really needs to watch those tutorial videos on this game. Like the ones by Viperion and Canadian Guy Eh will do that job splendidly.

@@PieroMinayaRojas yeah like Lewis here doing stuff that absolutely annoys people who have played the game, like trying to collect Wumpas/Relics, despite being at full capacity and complaining how he couldn't capture the gem pad in the ball, despite him not standing on the gem pad, also him not realizing that Coco's Air Spiral Dash is spammable save for the Quantum Wall, which operates on a short cooldown when used both ground and in the air, which definitely would've saved him a few times in, also not committing to balancing the team by switching classes which is essential in a game like this, cause as soon as one of the duties is not being done, there's a guarantee to collect an L.

You can capture gems while in Beach Ball form. You can still double jump while in that form, too.

2:57 Wasting time of one enemy is only good startegy if the other player is better then you, otherwise it is he who is wasting your time.

Lewis do you think the gameplay loop is engaging enough to keep this game alive for more than a year? The gameplay I’ve been seeing doesn’t really convince me personally.
Game looks boring af, BUT.. try it. Its fun af to play.
There's a new mode confirmed to be coming soon. It seems to be for a limited time only, but the datamined files seem to suggest a fair few new modes are coming soon. I think it definitely needs new modes, and it can last for a year. It has a solid enough base to build from, but they have to act quick.
They dropped the last two online games really quick, and I'd imagine they were way more popular. I wouldn't grind too hard on this. As an online only game, it will all be erased one day anyway.
I played the Beta and the now released version and I can safely say it's a good game, like for something as a filler title where I got nothing better to do, it fits the bill, plus the Battle Pass isn't too grindy especially when you bring up the Weekly Challenges which give you huge Battle Pass EXP Bonuses, I'm already at level 90 of 100 by playing the game at least once daily, some days twice, so yeah it's very much achievable in less than the 3 months they give you, rather than taking close to 3 months to actually finish, looking at you Multiversus.

I played a wild amount of this game since I bought it last week. I didn't touch the beta, and I can say, after reaching 100 on the BP, getting Coco to max level, and everyone else above level 10 - that without a shadow of a doubt that N. Tropy is busted, and Dingodile is the weakest character in the game. Solo queue Vs. minimum 3-stack premade with 2 blockers and a runner + comms is outlandishly unfair matchmaking. Afkers are the bane of existence and shouldn't get any awards post-game Underneath all of that plus the bugs and crashes, I love this game and hope they do their best to balance and fix it.

I hope Lewis doesn't abandon the series like he did before, wouldn't mind that on the side next to the usual CT Rumble content.
FemTropy is the queen. She can camp if necessary, lord knows I do it, but chasing people around and giving people a good smack is endlessly fun.
Not to mention she's great at traversal with mixing her floaty jumps with her attacks makes her a force to be reckoned with, not to mention it's all too common seeing Tropy players chase people down and hunt them down, which a smart group of players could take advantage of to keep her away from banks and other players, thus allowing some big scores to be earned, same with other players who waste their enemy team's time with a single task.

Imagine whining about N. Tropy players and having a balanced team to "play better" while you waste a 90% wumpa boost collecting crap you won't turn in.
EDIT: Twice!! With a 70% wumpa boost this time!!! There's a point where you need to shut up about the game quality and get good dude.

The other two blockers feel balanced but N Tropy is not. Needs a speed nerf
Indeed, like she's a character that's built around mixing her floaty jumps and attacks to get sick traversal, like I can imagine there's something that Toys For Bob can do to counter her, however her Slam move does leave her exposed, so if you were to bait her into doing that, you can get a few hits in, as long as she doesn't have a healing fridge which is sadly all too common for Tropy Players which absolutely erase your progress on eliminating the nuisance, I do feel like maybe adding a Passive to the Healing Fridge where if you use it in combat to tank damage or just to give you an advantage in the middle of a brawl, the Fridge then takes double Damage as opposed to not being in combat.

With all due to respect it sounds like a skill issue to me, Coco is the best character in the game, so mobile and spammable, if you used your wall and air dash more you could easily escape N. Tropy.

Cortex is the best... BUT only if he's used by a capable player.
As a FemTropy main, some Cortex players are amazing and put up a fight that makes you sweat.
And then there are others who are easily defeated, because they're not great with the transform shot.
@@TheKiwiDragon Funny enough, I actually do main Cortex. Whenever I play as him I always constantly get MVP, as for FemTropy while she's not a bad character (imo no Blocker is bad) she has very exploitable weakness to which ironically enough Cortex can abuse. Though I think we are all in agreement that Tawna is the worst character in the game.

Yeah, Tropy definitely does have her weaknesses, and I'm not afraid to admit that. Especially if you go for a Gravity Slam, I've found you can sneak past the orbs if you're smart, which leaves her wide open for attack while she's briefly immobile. It's half the reason I almost never use the Gravity Slam, gives me the edge on most other Tropys when I have fights with them 1-on-1. The only time I'll use it is when the opponent is at my bank fighting a teammate and is distracted enough for me to pull it off without risk.
Cortex is definitely good fun though. Spent time learning him recently, and will definitely go back to him soon but really found true synergy with Tropy after finishing the Dastardly Denier challenge a few hours ago.
But yeah we can wholeheartedly agree, Tawna is the worst. Decent speed, great capacity, good combat, but the hookshot is too delayed and leaves you wide open for too long and health-wise, she's nearly as bad as Brio (at least he reheals in monster brute form). A real glass cannon. Know some good Tawna players, and I'm surprised how well they make her work but yeah, there's a reason she's only Level 2 in my game! 😂

We're only 2 weeks removed from the release day, even if it were to die, it wouldn't be that quickly.
Qhen youre playing Coco, youre playing with the best char.
Her movement is awesome. Remember to using her R2 ability in mid air. Ofc, ure shield has cooldown but not THE DASH. And you can hit with it too.
Playing as Coco: getting gems, getting relics and using relic stations.
If you have no scorer you can play with her as a scorer.
But her key is movement and shield + dash, remember.
There is software called Parsec that allow allow as share other people computer to play any game in the world even CTR on PS1. Wanna try it. Is really cool i want to add you if u have it
