Sharing Knowledge: In the Traditional Style when practicing the Form you don't shift the weight backwards to move forward because the flow of energy moving forward is broken. Instead, keep your weight on the front foot, pivot on the heel the toes outward opening the hip area and step forward. In this way, the Jing will move from one posture to the other. Good targets for the Horse Mane are Liver 14, Gv.26, and St.9. Thank you Master for your videos.
Great job breaking down the movements then reassembling it to produce whole body connection & force! Really enjoyed your explanation & demonstration of various applications. 💪. Please make more tai chi videos 😃
This is exactly why I'm here watching videos like yours and other Tai chi for rehab of the whole back especially the shoulders and the thorostics. Hopefully Tai chi will help me, what physical therapy can't do.
27:39 I can’t believe how many wing chun moves came from other Chinese gung fu styles, and styles like this one. The two moves TAN and QUAN are used together in WC as well.. typically, they use a TAN on a wrist (They match) wrist to wrist to account for it (COLLECT)) and then, the QUAN SAO happens as we transition.. as we step in to get the other hand and face, we throw up a QUAN SAO two handed deflection, just like your COVER CENTER technique in the video, except a bit higher usually. Fantastic and professional work.. profound how the generations continued to teach this valuble material.💥🤓🤘🏻
I learned a lot from your tai chi stance & instructions! I like it & share it to my sons , brother & nephews! I’m following up your program & instructional videos! I want to see more of it! T.Y. Sifu Dunng
