my 2018 Golf S TSI automatic is a real pleasure to drive !!! ... get's 35 mpg with a 170 hp engine !!! ... has most of the bells & whistles that cars twice as much have and they're all standard !!! ... Ausgezeichnet (Excellent) !!!
Yep,had my '18 SE for about a year now.A bigger pleasure than pricier cars I've owned.Golfs are the most well balanced,easy to live with,likeable cars I've ever had.Enjoy!

Today I just bought an '18 Golf TSI/SE to replace an '06 Golf.I think I'm in love for the first time.I started buying Golfs because I knew Saab was in its death throes.I don't think I gave up much-probably gained instead.

Nice to finally see a gear stick on this channel. I'm lucky to live in an area where it isn't such a pain to drive a car with a manual transmission. They seem to be so uncommon in America

I'm looking at a used Golf TSI s, as my former car, a Challenger was totaled. As soon as I saw what I assume is your challenger in the background, I took that as a sign that this is the car for me. Also, thank you for the extremely in-depth review. You da man, Mike.
The golf is slow as shit compared to the challenger....0-60mph is 8-9 seconds.

Nice review. I'm waiting eagerly for the 2019 Golf with the 1.4 TSI and 8 speed AT. The '19 Golf models will only come in S and SE trims as I recall.

Why VW included turn signal mirrors on the base model Golfs and not on the new Jetta until the SEL trim is beyond me
It was nice to see lumbar support on the passenger front seat, but I didn't see a lumbar support lever on the driver's seat or was it out of the camera's view?
I think the seat belt was blocking it's view.
You should do basic cars cuz some people don't have a lot of money cuz everything so expressive

This must be the AWD version as it has the 1.8 not the 1.4
i recently bought the same one in pure white, so glad i did pick that colour cause it was between these two! Can i ask you a question? Can i upgrade my steering wheel to a multifunctional one or would that cause problems to the car considering it was not built initially that way?
