Hi there Kennan, thanks a million for explaining properly the Doppelkupplungsgetriebe transmission, I never was patient enough to learn how it works and it is very interesting. Porsche being Porsche, always builds whatever it is at a top level standard and here they do it again. The Turbo S is really a technical masterpiece. You have absolutely EVERYTHING you need in this vehicle without compromise. It is really a great choice if you have the dough for a car. Thanks again and as always all the best from West Spain 🙂
Porsche 911 turbo s cabriolet: ✅ Sounds better without the roof ✅ Very fast ✅ Has back seats ✅ Awd for any weather ✅ Decent trunk storage for two people ✅ Highway cruiser ❌ costs a lot
Great report. Styling is subjective, but in my opinion, the 991.1 and 991.2 (2012-2019) are peak 911 styling. The front and (especially) rear ends are just a big step back on the 992 that followed in 2020.
Love the review. I always have a soft spot for the Turbo. As a 991 Turbo owner myself, I love how easy it drives, and how low key it is. Love my Turbo!
Great review and spot on with the features on the Turbo S. But, can we start talking more about your watches? Todays Omega / swatch was too cool and wondering when we’ll see a Blancpain collab review 🤔
Great Review Kennan. Appreciating the mechanical deep dive into Turbo S engineering. Odd how Porsche insists on Pirelli PZeros on the Turbo S when Michelin Cup2's would extract more grip and agility. Maybe they're bespoke Turbo S PZeroes and not the off shelf variety that handicapped so many other cars like the AMG SL's and Hemi Hellcats.
Another great video, Kennan! Turbos (S or not) are great at what they’re doing but we see those everywhere in LA or OC (no exclusivity) and no interesting engine note. Give me a GT3 any day.
Great video. I have an ‘87 Carrera Cab. I have never wished for more power on it. And I have I’ve experienced that (speed) on a Model S Dual, 996 Turbo and SL55 AMGs (none owned). With that being said, I absolutely love the look of ALL generations of the 911 Turbo ‘Coupé’ … but oddly, I absolutely HATE what ANY generations (Turbos only) looks like in Cabriolet form. The power might be epicly impressive, but it’s unbalanced ‘Looks’ are not. Thanks for the video.
@@jamesfynnhere6983 I own a 991 Turbo, 65k miles. built like a tank. only needs yearly oil changes. one planned major service at 50k which cost $3000. 911 is not a ferrari or lambo. This a daily drive and over engineered. As such it just works. good news is you can get this same relablity in a base 911. you dont need to pay for the turbo.
Doesn't the turbo S feature a more luxurious interior in terms of more leather surfaces and other accoutrements that would otherwise have either been expensive options or maybe even unavailable on the lesser models? I may be wrong about that but if not I think that's something that maybe Kennen should have expounded upon in greater detail herein. Otherwise another excellent car review from Cars and Bids.
991.2 Turbo S came standard with two leather with deviated stitching and carbon inserts around the cabin. These were "extra-cost option" available on the base Turbo. The non S turbo can standard with single color leather interior and no carbon. there was also an optional leather interior in "natural leather" available for turbo and turbo s, but it was around $8k up-charge and is a leather with very little protection coating and has that old world smell.
Let's see the Cybertruck towing a 911 hustling around a track against a 911. The driven 911 has twice the range as the towing Cybertruck and can be refueled fully in five minutes anywhere.
Another Kennan video - skip. I realize you need to delegate some and can't do seemingly every review but get someone at least who is on brand for the channel and has some charisma.
I think Kennan is actually doing a great job and a welcome addition and dynamic to the channel . Definitely more technical than Doug, but i think they compliment each other well! Also, it frees up time for Doug with his growing family, him being able to do more podcasts with likes of smoking tires and hopefully more collaborations in the future. Keenan is more technical, and I've learned a lot from his videos. It's also a great business decision to grow cars and bids by actually reviewing the cars.

Yeah, but a manual will always be better than a dopllekdofldgimpjgngsjfjgjgkglshagahkfkfkgkdlk
Or PDK.
If you only have room for one enthusiast car, this is it. I’m still attached to the 991 generation, they’re styled so well.
hard to pick favorites
2017 Targa on my street and I get head to toe goosebumps when it goes by
It's hard to go wrong with a 911. Porsche has never built a bad-driving car.
I saw a 991 Turbo the other day in black, with a lady driving it no-less (rarely see that). I was like wow. It has a presence
Hey Kennan, I now understand why Doug loves you so much! Thanks for the awesome review man!
No problem!
Full on Porsche history and race car component instruction. Epic.
A shot every time Kennan says "this car" when driving
Matt and Zac should have you on their podcast!
I second this.

Turbo S is just insanely fast in all conditions
Love to see how each presenter on cars and bids showcases these cars. Love getting technical knowledge from Kennan !
More to come!
#whatsonkennanswrist I see a moonswatch today! Love it!

Love the mission to Earth moon swatch Kennen
He has been on the hunt for that for a while.
The real flex in this video is the Moonswatch…
It's my dream car. Now where's my lotto ticket?
If you've got the money...I mean, what's better?
Not much!
One thing it can not do is win a drag race with the new tesla truck, which was pulling a trailer with a 911 on it....
Speed is easy these days.

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY
BOUT FUGGIN TIME YOU MADE THIS VIDEO..
I still like the coupe but.. Ill take it.

Hey Kennan we might just be twin brothers no joke! 😳🤣What a sexxxy Porsche!
Yes king go off
Thanks!
That's Alanis, not Keenan
love porche. perfect car
If you pretend that you love paying for extremely high maintenance and repair costs.

porsche ranked pretty high on the reliability study
@@carsandbids As tho that negates both the high cost of maintenance and repairs, when required.

kennan and doug is the same person in 2 bodies
You are sacrificing one thing: your wallet is going to be a lot thinner with the purchase and ownership of it!
I think if you're just going to swoop in and ride the brand that Doug built, you could at least do it justice by saying Caaaarss and Biddsssss.
i got whiplash just from watching those accelerations.
But can it pull a trailer with a Cybertruck on it?
Once, not very far or quickly.
kennan the type of guy to bring flowers to a strip club
Not sure if i'm in the minority, but I've been really enjoying the new presenters! Keep up the great work guys, and great video Kennan!
Are you two bots?
@@user-jk7yz3xs8znah, just wanting to support these guys. Being positive goes a long way
Glad you like them!

Can you review a Bentley Bentayga from 2017 with a W12?
Nahhh you gots to go
Whats Kennan's favorite EV?
Noooo, Kennan why didn't you say "surprise" in German?
Next one, he promised.
“I’m Kennen from Caurz & Bids”
Dope
Did you see the video that Elon Musk released, where the cyber truck beat a Porsche while towing the same Porsche?? LoL

Love everything about this except does wheels
Dear god son, start taking care of yourself.
Grow up!
He is. He's driving supercars as a job and has nice taste in watches.
Kennan is the type of guy to eat his crust-less PB&J in his 991 Turbo S
First Porsche in a long time where I am not a big fan of the wheels? The optical illusion style isn’t my favorite.
More soy plz
Faster being towed by cybertruck 😅
The cybertruck was raced against a base 911, quite slower than a Turbo S
Actually 🤓☝️. No
@@JTSuarez Which would be double the out the door price of the Cybertruck...
That video is so fake.
right up to the very first turn. at which point you will never see the turbo again.
